We loved our stay here, comfy bed and very comfortable room. There's a really lovely personal feel, breakfast was delicious with fresh eggs cooked by Oliver and his wife (sorry we can't remember your name!) and its a very convenient location for the town centre as well as the rest of the black forest.

We found the room a little noisy from neighbouring rooms/pipes and the front door buzzer, but ear plugs dealt with that, and everything else was excellent!

An efficiently run hotel that is located centrally in Freudenstadt, has extremely clean and comfortably sized rooms and most importantly is run by very friendly team that was always on top of everything when it came to communication with us. Right from the clear instructions to check-in to customizing our breakfast everyday, full marks to the team.

Although not a surprise, it is inconvenient when traveling with two large bags to not have an elevator in the hotel. Lugging up 2 bags of 20+ kgs each isn't a very pleasant experience.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. They spoke English and were very accommodating for our daughter with Down Syndrome. The hotel is in the middle of town and there are a number of good restaurants within five minutes walk. Clean, safe neighborhood. Breakfast was very nice. Typical German/European breakfast.

There were no USB wall chargers and we only had one plug adaptor, so charging all of the kids' devices challenging. Parking was limited, but a garage is nearby with very reasonable overnight rates.

I had a seamless late-night check-in, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel room provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Its location was convenient, being close to my congress venue, and I also found several Asian restaurants nearby. The continental breakfast offered a generous variety of options, making for a great start to the day. Overall, the hotel delivers excellent value for the price. Highly recommended!

Very comfy room, TONs of hooks to hang things from in the bathroom (in most hotels these are sadly missing) and a beautiful fresh breakfast. Helpful staff.

It's always hard to figure out the parking situation in a new town, especially when you don't have a great grasp of the language, and the fact that there isn't a full-time reception made this a little more difficult. But that's all... it was a lovely stay once we'd got that figured out.

It was more or less what I expected. It met the descriptions. It was renewed recently, good taken care of and very clean. The breakfast was simply excellent. And the staff was super nice. The location is good except that it is at the main road.

As I said the location is good in terms of being close to other places even to walk to the train stations, but cars and trucks drive through that road all night. Of course Freudenstadt is not a large city, but we're used to super quiet streets. It was not too bad for just one night, but I would not choose to be there more than one night.

Hotel Warteck was fabulous, that's the only word for it the room was amazing and so comfortable the pillows are like sleeping on clouds it was lovely. The breakfast the next morning was really good too there was also a mini bar in the room with drinks and treats at reasonable prices it also was close to the town and restaurants Parking was on the street outside which didn't seem to get too busy but the owners let us park our motorbikes outside the back door off the road

The hotel is close to the centre of the city and bus/train stations. Although the windows of my room were situated on the rush road, they were excellently soundproofed. Very good breakfast.

I do not consider it appropriate to make any repairs to the room without my knowledge, especially if the room is not equipped with a safe. The hotel has a contactless check-in and had a contact to inform me about an operational need to repair something.

The location was perfect for us as it's a very short walk to the massive market place. The room was clean and bright and the staff were friendly.

We were on a Harley Davidson trike, and expected a car park. There wasn't one, it was on-street parking and only for about 6 vehicles. Although the market place car park was only a short distance away, it difficult to use when we have 3 bags, motorcycle clothing and really bad weather. We did manage to park on the road, we took the last space and didn't move until the day we checked out. When we booked, the information stated there was air conditioning, maybe there was, but not in our room.

Lovely little hotel, clean, tidy, rooms were comfy and modern, with everything you need. Breakfast was nice, staff friendly and helpful. Had a homely feel.

Can’t think of anything that we didn’t like. If were in a car the parking would be a problem but as we had a motorbike it was a little easier to park round the side, 6 bikes in total in our group and managed to park every day.
