Phenomenal location. On some of the best trails in Garmisch. Best breakfast (included!) I’ve ever had at a hotel. Dinners (also included) were excellent. Nice spa facilities. Great massage. Beds comfortable. Rooms nice and big. Nice birthday attention - cake in room and nice dinner decorations. Even without the balcony, we heard the goats with bells and the bird dawn chorus every morning. We thought having to take a cable car to our hotel would be inconvenient but it wasn’t - it was a nice ride. We loved our stay here!

Bathroom privacy could be improved but this is a minor issue.

The location and the breathtaking view from our room. The staff was kind and attentive. They were keen to help and spoke very good English. The spa and the relaxation zone. Also, the directions sent in advance on how to use the private funicular were very clear and helpful and - above all - worked out perfectly.

Well, the food was interesting. Served during the 4-course dinner and signaled by Bread Carpaccio (!) for the start. The other three courses were more or less OK, with the taste quality growing with every course and peaking up with an excellent dessert (a coconut milk pana-cotta and exotic fruits). The breakfast was great though, rich, fresh, and offering anything one can imagine.

The whole experience starts with a scenic view in a cable car, then we had a great dinner and got to enjoy the outdoor pool and spa. The room was big and cozy, modern and had a huge terrace. The restaurant staff was super friendly.

The staff at the reception were a bit rude but maybe they weren’t comfortable speaking english. No AC in the room so was a bit warm during the evening.

The location is unbeatable, right at the foot of the mountain with stunning views. The room was spacious and the in-room sauna was a thoroughly enjoyed. The massages were exceptional—some of the best we’ve had in a long time (ask for Adina). Dinner was another highlight (Frans-Josef), offering a new and delicious menu every night. A truly memorable stay!

the hotel is beyond praise.Everything is done here for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.Inside there is a small heated pool with hydro massage and panoramic views, as well as several types of saunas.On the 3rd floor there is a large swimming pool.The quality of service is at a high level.The hotel is located in an insanely beautiful place.I would like to thank all the staff and the owner.Everything in the hotel is thought out to the smallest detail.We will definitely come back here more than once.The information on the hotel's website is constantly updated, and you can get acquainted with the history of the hotel.

The whole experience was enjoyable, we didn't use the spar as it isn't really our thing but didn't feel we missed out, we made full use of the infinity pool and the food was lovely. The location was fabulous, we had a room with a panoramic veiw of the mountains from the balcony which we enjoyed sitting on after our evening meal, enjoying the tranquility with just the sound of the cow & goat bells in the surrounding area. If you like walking and mountain biking you would be in heaven, as it was possible to hire bikes, we just went on a couple of short walk as we had intended it to be a relaxing few days during our month of traveling Germany, Austria and Italy on our motorbikes.

The only thing that disappointed us was that during the evening meal we was asked if we would like water as well as the wine we had ordered, however we discovered at the end of the meal that 2 bottles of water cost over €12, we are not tight people but felt it was excessive, the next night we had 1 bottle😂. Same with the coffee, not too expensive, but as we had a coffee machine in our room we had coffee within the privacy of our balcony, which we both enjoyed much more. Given this we did however feel that it was still very good value for money.

Outstanding kitchen, bravo to the Chef and his kitchen and restaurant service team. Every dinner was full of surprises for the taste buds. Plenty but not too much - in short excellent. Location of the hotel was out-of-this-world, at true hideaway. Our room was perfect with the most wonderful view. It's worth to book the room with panorama view and balcony. Staff was great and helpful. Outstanding spa - not too big yet never too full - with excellent treatments. overall excellent value for money.

"Private" parking at the bottom of the mountain did not really work out. Had expected a closed parking with a barrier and maybe a code or so. If you have too much luggage, better to ask for pick up, but with the little gondola it works and is fun. It was not 100% clear to us what is and is-not included in the price, but this may have been us not re-reading the details. So, no big issues, overall outstanding and highly recommended.

We had a fabulous stay that significantly exceeded our expectations. A wonderful property, fantastic staff, delicious food all in a magical setting. Arrival by private cable car all adds to the experience. We only had one night but are already planning our return for a few more and to enjoy some treatments.

We had chosen to stay at Das Graseck as part of our honeymoon and it was perfect! The access via the cable car was great fun; the location was breathtakingly beautiful; there was a variety of spa facilities available all of which were very clean and well maintained; you can walk to Partnach Gorge from the hotel; the 4 course meal each night was absolutely wonderful! We couldn't fault the food in anyway. What made this stay even more wonderful was the staff; the staff and team at Das Graseck were lovely, especially since we spoke very little German so they were kind enough to speak in English where possible. Additionally we want to say thank you for upgrading our room as a honeymoon treat. The room we had was absolutely stunning, and we were very grateful. Lastly, I want to make a special mention to 'Robin' who was one of the restaurant staff and who served us for our first two nights; he was very polite and patient, very caring as to when we wanted our next meal and whether there was anything on the menu we didn't want. Robin really stood out to us on our stay in his excellent customer service, so thank you.

The only thing we could comment on as feedback was to have made us aware on arrival that the hotel offers free tickets to Partnach Gorge as part of the stay; we did not know this and bought tickets, then on the morning whilst leaving to visit the gorge, the desk attendant had offered us tickets from the hotel. It was not much money so did not really bother us, but it would have been nice to have been made aware on arrival as it wasn't easy paying for the tickets online.

The hotel's location is unique. It is up the mountain and arrival is by cable car. The views are amazing. A network of hiking trails runs past the hotel - bring your hiking boots! The facilities are fantastic. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The spa is just great - there are multiple saunas and pools. The outdoor swimming and relaxing pools are delicious. The fitness center is good. The service is attentive without being overbearing. The front desk helped with all manner of local directions and recommendations. Meals in the hotel restaurant are superb; every dinner was elegant, interesting and tasty. Breakfasts were wonderful. A variety of breads, cheeses, meats, yogurts, eggs, cereals, fruit are available on a buffet. The kitchen would also gladly serve freshly made breakfast dishes.

We had to go home!
