Stayed 4 nights in Sept 2024.The hotel is a 5 min walk to the pedestrian area of Garmisch.It is adjacent to the Zugspitze cogwheel train station and railway station-reason enough to book..It has a Lidl grocery next to it.It has wonderful views from spa area and the pools/terraces overlook mountains.The spa has a theraputic and has a relaxing atmosphere and is open/free to guests for pools/sauna.Breakfast has good choices and the omelets are exceptional.The afternoon coffee/cake is a welcome bonus.I recommend a 2 day Zugspitze/Alpspitze ticket at 89 euro for seeing 2 highest mountains with cogwheel train included if your staying at least 2 days (weather permitting) and taking early train 8:15am subject to timetables by season as 1 day ticket is 68 euro.We had a small mountainview room which had a comfy bed, clean room adequate for 2.We did not chose dinner buffet which was available at 26 euro pp.Follow the river to Partnach Gorge 40min walk.I recommend this hotel.

No dealbreakers here just a few suggestions.The coffee from 4 machines in breakfast area is mediocre at best. The room a mountainview dbl bed was quite narrow to navigate for 2. There is no kettle/coffee in room and the barmaid advised alot of guests seek out hot water from the bar-an inconvenience.There is no in-room safe and only secondary lockup boxes in storage area with key access limited to hotel staff. Staff are very pleasant/business like to deal with but not welcoming or enthusiastic to smile which would enhance a Spa Style hotel experience. I would recommend this hotel for a quality Garmisch spa stay and it matches the description on website

Everything was excellent, the room was clean without any comments, only the room cleaning was every other day which is not an issue, since the room has no kettle the staff offer hot water without any hesitation. the breakfast was good with less variety for Muslim (in term of Halal food.) it will be great to have halal option at hotle for half-board option. the parking was excellent easy to get to the room.

I recommend to at lest remove the trash everyday from the room specially for the family rooms. the shower open to the entrance so it is not easy to use the room with kids above age 7 or adults (depends on Customs and traditions of every society (not suitable for Arabs and Muslims).

New property with clean room and updated furniture. Breakfast was delicious and there were lots of options each morning. The spa was immaculate and was open for a lengthy period throughout the day. It is right across from the train station and a busy intersection but you couldn’t hear any of the city noise. Within walking distance to all of the Bavarian shops.

The bike rentals could have been a little bit nicer. It would be nice if they offered a stay longer, pay less type of package, or something that included a zugspitze ride. The other hotels we stayed at in Germany had packages like this!

The location is great near the train station l, the Zugspitzbahn and the city center. Rooms are tidy and quiet. The food wasn't exceptional but it was tasty and plenty full, the fresh made eggs, pancakes and the bread were very good. The restaurant and bar area are spacious and they have an indoor playground for kids which is very convenient. The spa with the 3 pools are amazing. One pool is for small kids, where we hung a lot during the day. We didn't take advantage of the fitness area and massage offers. But for sure next time. All in all we had amazing 3 days with a small child and we will definitely come again.

The cake at the coffee and cake hour was the same every day and there was no water, for e.g. tap water to drink along that. The food in the evening especially the fish was cold and not warm enough.

The location was amazing, just a few minutes walk from the Zugspitze station, train station and main square of Garmish-Partenkirchen. The facilities were excellent and the rooms were comfortable. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was lovely, and the dinner was also great, but we only had that two nights. The outdoor swimming pool with view of the mountains is wonderful as is the indoor swimming pool and there are lots of loungers, especially at the time we were using it which was later in the evening.

I thought the price of the evening buffet was expensive at €32 a head but I don’t know how that compares to other hotels. The food was nice though. We requested Mountain View rooms and were very happy with the view we got, however, as others have said and we already knew, this is on the road side of the hotel and so it is noisy with the window open which we did require as it was warm. I and my son didn’t have trouble sleeping with that noise, but my mum who was in the room next to us did struggle so I would choose carefully depending on your tolerance for noise.

Very good location near the railway station and zugspietze train. The hotel meets the 4 stars conditions. The policy of cleaning only every other day doesn't fit guests with a 2-night stay. At least the garbage should be taken out daily. The decision to make the bathroom open is rather strange and does not provide for seclusion. Also the separation of the sink and the room with an internal window with a shade is not pragmatic. The food is really good both for breakfast and dinner. No slippers are provided in the hotel.

Beautiful large spa area with views of the mountains. Great bar and restaurant area- very modern and tastefully decorated. Family friendly. Generous breakfast - lots of range. Centre of Garmisch so good connections. Most of the staff are really friendly and helpful (just not Julia at reception who gives off a bit of distaste for customers but the rest are really kind).

Whilst I appreciate the eco efforts- the pool and jacuzzi are quite cold. Nothing in the room- no fridge or kettle or even water (ok I think the fridge is a good econwffort but a mini kettle for a tea would be nice) they save a lot of money being ‘eco’ and you feel it in the room. Tiny open plan shower and toilet so no privacy to shower and barely any room in the toilet or bathroom area- and the shower flooded into the sink area even if the door is shut.

We drove to this hotel and parked in its underground garage. From the hotel, it was just a short walk to the cable car station for ascending Zugspitze, as well as the nearby "Garmisch Olympia Ice Sport Stadium." When we arrived, there was a game in progress, and we could hear the cheers and music from outside the stadium, which felt quite exciting and novel. The hotel’s facilities were excellent, and they offered 24-hour access to snacks and drinks for purchase. We enjoyed a hearty dinner and breakfast during our stay, and the overall experience was fantastic.

Spa facilities were superb. Quality of the food in the restaurant and also the location were great. Room size and cleanliness were also good.

The room temperature was WAY too hot at night (we stayed for 4 nights in August), with no way of changing the temperature. We spoke to other hotel stayers who had the same problem. I also wasn't overly happy about having to pay extra for drinks (even water!) at dinner, even though we paid for half board. This was a surprise as it wasn't clearly stated when I booked.

The hotel meet all our expectations. Very well located in the vecinity of train station and downtown area. It is clean, quiet and has a very nice area for spa and relaxation. The breakfast was reach and tasty and also the afternoon coffee and cakes. The staff was kind and helpful always ready to support. I will definitely return there.

We found that the too much oil was used for cooking the fresh omelets during breakfast.
