What an amazing experience. The Hotel Zugspitze was perfect. It's in a great location and has a wonderful staff. We loved the indoor pool and hot tub. We didn't get to enjoy the sauna or any spa experiences as our stay was brief. Breakfast was phenomenal! We also had dinner and it was delicious. Our family room had a loft with skylights and was very cute. We will DEFINITELY be back.

We loved everything!

The hotel is really exceeding expectations - from start to finish - simply perfect. This is really rare to experience such excellent property paired with a service level what is needed to be set as a golden example.

If I would be in charge of the kitchen which has all necessary resources to provide an outstanding service - I would probably look into the breakfast set up. Would take a clean sheet of paper and start it from zero. Some food items are subpair compare to the overall quality of the hotel - not mentioning the outstanding quality dinner they served.

Restaurant & cuisine – The dining room delivered outstanding food, excellent table service, and mountain views that made every meal memorable. Hospitality – Staff throughout the hotel—from check‑in to housekeeping—exceeded every expectation. Breakfast experience – A wide and tasty buffet, prompt service, with hot dishes prepared on request made for an energizing start to each day. Ideal for short stopovers – I originally planned this as a two‑night rest to avoid a long drive after a flight. While I didn’t have time for the spa, its generally praised 1,000 m² wellness area shows just how full a longer stay could be. Impeccable cleanliness – I hold very high standards for hygiene; the room and public areas surpassed them entirely.

Nothing at all — absolutely no complaints from my side.

Excellent location and attentive staff. Breakfast room was nice and outdoor patio area comfortable. There is a spa and pool with sauna that looked delightful but I didn't get a chance to try it out. Restaurant and bar on site. Elevators and garage parking available. Elegantly decorated. Family dog welcomed.

The heater went out on our first night for the whole hotel and shower was not hot. The next day, the situation for all was remedied as soon as possible. Upon request, hotel compensated us for the inconvenience for that period and we found that fair given our inconvenience and expectation for hot water.

We loved everything about this hotel. It is beautifully located in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and in the Alps. Our room was wonderful (very quite!) and the bathroom was very spa like. The hotel itself is gorgeous and cozy all at the same time. A huge delicious buffet breakfast was served in a sun filled dining room every morning. The hotel is close to everything in a very walkable location, even from the train station. The real gem is the staff. Everyone there was so kind, professional and helpful. They made our trip a fabulous 5 star vacation. Their wonderful hospitality really makes us want to return to Hotel Zugspitze! If you are considering booking this hotel, just do it. You will thrilled that you did!

Everything was perfect.

I went to this hotel with my partner for our (mid) 3 year anniversary and we loved every moment of it: -Location was absolutely perfect! A traditional small german town, so there's a lot of great food but if you get tired of the Bavarian flavor, then there is an asian restaurant and an Indian one. -The hotel is a walking distance from everything; a grocery store, a pharmacy, souvenir shops..etc -Staff were AMAZING: I appreciated that even though we had to leave our booking 1 day earlier than planned, the amazing man at the reception gave us a 40 Euro discount! -Super super quiet at night. This is amazing considering if you live in a big city, you know how annoying the street sounds can be! (so amazing sleep, super comfortable and cozy). -There was parking for our rental car indoors which made it so much easier than finding parking by the hotel. -Breakfast was sooo nice! We had it every day when we were there when we usually don't care too much for it! (those german sausages!! YUM!) Overall such a wonderful experience. Would 100% stay again!

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was definitely acquired taste! (we did not like it but that is not anybody's fault but out own).

The breakfast was excellent and the breakfast area had an inviting vibe with an wide array of food items . The food was very fresh and good tasting. The variety of breakfast items were very impressive. We loved the assortment of bread and rolls and farm fresh fruits and vegetables and organic eggs. Bathroom was big with storage area.

We paid for a superior room with views of Zugspitze form the balcony, while mountain was still visible through the balcony but it was kind of a blocked view. Also, it would be nice to have coffee , tea available at the lobby after breakfast .

Great service. From the housekeeping lady (Danilla?) who immediately brought my husband a longer robe to the parking attendant, to front desk who emailed us to let us know as soon as the room was ready for an early check in, the hotel clearly takes service seriously. Food (breakfast and dinner were very good and we are quite picky when it comes to food!). The spa was also lovely and the masseuse did a great job sorting out hiking tired legs

So far this is the best of the five places I've stayed at in Garmisch. The rooms are great size with plenty of amenities including coffee/tea makers. There are complimentary waters and juice soda in the mini fridge (which is also nice to have) and it is a quick walk to many different restaurants. All of the staff is helpful and friendly. I didn't use the gym, spa or restaurant this time but my colleagues said they were great.

Nothing that would prevent me from staying again. However, my room had some issues with sound. I was in a split level room and the bed was so close to the door I could hear everything which wasn't too bad but the ceilings were apparently thin because I could hear a baby crying for over 30 mins for three nights in a row. Luckily I had ear plugs and was eventually able to fall sleep but there needs to be more insulation between rooms. Additonally, the bed shouldn't be two feet from a door (that isn't even necessary to have because there is one on ground floor).

This hotel was amazing! The staff and facilities were wonderful and walkable to restaurants and everything in the area. I wish I had better understood the room sizes when I first booked but everything was fine and the front desk replied to all my emails. The food at the restaurant and the breakfast were some of our favorite meals. Also, the sauna and spa were a great way to spend some downtime after a rainy/snowy day. We love it! ( Family of four).
