Accommodation and facilities were overall excellent. Breakfast was a hearty continental, the sauna and swimming pool are great to use and the staff are very helpful in both English and German. Location is in the middle of Garmisch and very close to flixbus/train station, with relatively close access to all the main hiking sites. Easy walking to distance to any groceries/shop/restaurants required. Lovely addition of a balcony

With the central location, can expect it to be a little noisy at night (especially if balcony door is open) and room is hot during the summer. If privacy is something treasured,can be very easily seen from street/window level to other buildings (didn't bother us)

Excellent location, and very friendly and supporting staff. When we indicated there was a bit chilly in one room, they brought quickly an electric heater to help. Nice ski room next to the parking, fitted with heated boots rack and a small ski maintenance work bench.

Sound proofing could be improved. Wi-Fi connection a bit disappointing (weak signal and slow connection). Limited hotel parking, but there is a public parking next to it (payable during working days)

The property or room i stayed in was exceptional, balcony working fridge and clean. And location is excellent close to the center but far enough away not to be disturbed by the noise of the tourists.

Parking is limited and lacks proper drainage so if you have nice shoes when it’s raining change them before you go to the car, my brothers room didn’t have a working fridge, and my only real complaint is the breakfast it isn’t worth the money requested, packet rolls that weren’t even oven backed through, and i noticed the staff spread the tomatoes out with her unprotected hands 😷🤨 not cool! They used the tongues for the dry rolls but her hands on wet food?!?!

The location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk away from the railway station and FlixBus stop. The view from the room was amazing. It was so relaxing to sit in the balcony and look at the mountains. It felt almost like a fairy tale. The room was big and the furniture was great. We had a double bed, a 2 seater sofa, a table and chair and 2 big wardrobes. All in all - perfect!

Location is within walking distance of the town center. Breakfast was very good with nice variety. There was a separate sitting room for watching TV or playing games. Parking onsite available. Elevator to upper floors.

The carpet is worn but overall the hotel is charming.

The location is excellent- within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, shopping and public transport.The rooms are spacious. The gentleman who checked us in was warm and welcoming. The hotel has an indoor heated pool and sauna. Breakfast is well priced and good.

No coffee/ tea making facilities in the room.

Close to train station, shopping, restaurants. All walking distance. Close to the zugspitzbahn and bus to Mt Wank. A homey authentic country feel. The breakfast was fabulous. Very friendly staff.

Only slight thing was the bathroom was teeny tiny as in you can’t bend in the shower but perfectly manageable

Excellent stay from start to finish. Great location, sensational views, handy from bus and rail links. Staff all superb. Pool and sunny garden a real bonus.

The receptionist (the lady from Canada :-))was super friendly and helpful, the hotel was 3 minutes from where our conference was held, as well as the city center, the facility, room were exceptionally clean... unfortunately my husband and I had a family emergency and had to checkout/return home early; we did not get to enjoy the breakfast or our second night at the hotel. We will definitely will book the Roter hahn for next year's conference!

The curtain in the bathroom window was missing....we made do by placing a towel over the window!

The staff was amazing, they were super kind. Everything was very clean and comfortable , the sauna and pool were really nice as well although the pool was a bit cold. We had an amazing stay, just wish it was a little cheaper... 175 euros a night is insane
