The staff was very nice to me at all times and very helpful with any need. It was a very quiet and pleasant place. I finally did not get the chance of trying breakfast. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The surrounding nature was lovely, very green.

I would have liked the shower to have a system in which you could hang it from the wall, instead of having to constantly hold it. The cover of the bed was too small for me (I am a tall person) and the nights were a bit cold in my opinion (I come from Spain).

The girl at reception was very nice and helpful. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Regarding the location of the hotel, even if it is in the outskirts of Munich, it is in the middle of a forest and that makes it very calm and nice.

The price was too high, but there was a big exhibition going on those days in Munich and every other hotel also had very high prices.

The nostalgic hunting forrestecottage feellling is kept in the hotel, but the facilities are contemporary upgraded.

Nicely refurbished old hunting castle, charming design, spacious room. There was a fridge, they offered free water and coffee. The place is really calm.

Wonderful location in the middle of the forest, yet close to the city. Relaxed atmosphere.

The protruding corners of the bed, just to make it look rustic, and a small decent night light in the bathroom would be helpful.

I arrived around 22:00 with my sister after a long trip from Munich airport. I was supposed to find an envelope with my name and a key at the entrance. There was an envelope — but it wasn’t mine. I tried to call the property, but my non-German number didn’t work. Luckily, my sister had a German SIM. The owner finally answered and told me my reservation was for the next day, which was not true — I had clearly booked for that night. She admitted it was their mistake, but told me there were no rooms left and offered a refund. This is unacceptable. I was stranded in a remote village late at night, without Wi-Fi, and had no idea where to go. After some time, woman from the reception gave me an address of another hotel, but the room there was nothing like the one I had booked — old, tiny, stuffy, and unpleasant. Certainly not worth almost €200. This situation caused enormous stress. I would never book here again!
