We really like this hotel - it's the perfect place to take a break when driving from The Netherlands up to Denmark. It's actually in a cute area and exceeded our expectations in just about every way the first time we stayed here. Just a really pleasant little place.

Contrary to our previous stay here, the kitchen and bar was closed as the hotel staff were on holiday. We weren't aware of this beforehand and it was a little disappointing after a long drive. Also, contrary to our previous stay, we had a room in the secondary building. The rooms are all lovely but this time we were on the side of the road and the cars and trucks passing were LOUD all night long. There were also some extremely loud guests above us. So we slept poorly. Our advice - ask for a room in the main building that isn't looking out on to the road.

The room was spacious and very comfortable. The facilities were excellent. Nice bathroom with a really good shower with plenty of hot water. The food was fantastic, we really enjoyed our stay.

We could have done with a grab rail in the shower for support for an elderly person.

Parking for the motorcycle was good - hard standing and near the room. Restaurant offered an excellent standard of food, the location was quiet but convenient for our needs.

We were only trying to find somewhere to sleep for one night that would be reasonably close to the motorway, so we ended up here. We were lucky to find out that it's a very charming hotel with beautiful big rooms and a restaurant that serves excellent food!! Free parking infront of the building.

The only downsides I can think of were the language barrior; the staff spoke very little english if even that (only german) and the breakfast, which was not very versatile. But these were minor issues, especially the language, because the lady in the reception/restaurant was very helpful and tried her best to sort everything out.

Moved single beds apart but the carpet underneath was covered in dust. When we arrived we were told that the restaurant was closed on a Monday. Having travvelled for 9 hours it would have been helpful if this information was available when we booked.

Very comfortable bed, quiet surroundings, guaranteed a good night's sleep.

A bit out of the way for a stopover between Bremen and Hamburg, As it was Monday ("Ruhetag") the restaurants was not open. but we found a nice place in Bremen on the way.

The staff were very welcoming and very good humoured. We enjoyed interacting with them they allowed me to use my pitiful German whilst they spoke English it was fun. Room was very comfortable. Dinner was good. There was some where safe to store our bicycles over night. We enjoyed our stay.

There was nothing to dislike.

Everything was great – clean rooms, friendly staff, and a perfect location. Felt very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Very nice location with lots of nature around it. I stayed here one night during my drive from Denmark to the Netherlands and they had an electrical car charger which was great. The staff at the reception was very friendly and the room was surprisingly big with a very nice view.

The breakfast was ok, but there could have been a bit more choice.
