My boyfriend thought it looks a bit outdated but I loved the vibe. The rooms are very nice and clean, the location is absolute best and the staff extremely friendly. I loved the breakfast!

There is no elevator so I can see how it could be a problem for some people (but for me it was no problem). Honestly the only thing that bothered me was the bed which, even though it was very comfortable, was actually made out of two mattresses pushed together, so I kept falling in the hole in the middle.

The location was great; the rooms were clean; the breakfast was awesome; the (morning) staff was great; there was a parking lot at the property.

There was no air conditioning, which made it hard to address the fall temperature changes. My blanket was too hot for the summer, and I had to leave the window open, but then it was a bit noisy. Unfortunately, the night staff didn't speak English very well, which caused us to leave the questions to the morning. * The taxi to the airport was extremely expensive (150 euros), so it is better to plan accordingly and use public transport.

Lovely hotel. Very homely both inside and out. Great location. Beautiful area. Friendly and professional staff.

Nothing I didn't like. The stay at The Adler really worked out well. Would recommend and would seek out again if I revisited Ingolstadt, which is a beautiful city, and incredibly clean.

It is a very old but clean hotel in the historical center of Ingolstadt. The staff is very friendly, and there is free parking in the hotel's backyard. The breakfast is rich and tasty—fresh fruit every morning from 6 a.m. If you are looking for a trip to Ingolstadt to see the city, it is amazing; there are so many restaurants, bars, and shops around. To the Audi factory, it is just 15 min by car.

the single rooms are very, very small

Perfect location. Staff were exceptional - truly great… the best we’ve encountered on our travels across Europe so far and by a long margin. Take the breakfast option - again the best we’ve had so far.

If you’re asking me to be picky, aircon would have brill given temperature, but with windows open we didn’t get disturbed by noise and the provided fan gave us a comfortable night

Very welcoming and helpful personnell. Comfy bed, windows did open, many TV channels, 24/7 front desk. Breakfast had all necessary options. Very good coffee. Quiet room with inyard view. Blinding curtains. Many places to eat and shop very near.

No elevator. Specific smell in rooms, therefore it was good that it was possible to open windows.

Absolutely brilliant location, you walk out the door and you are right in the middle of the old city, fantastic restaurants and pubs right there, just awesome

Only a little thing really, the shower took two or three minutes to heat up and then the temperature will fluctuate as other people are using the shower, this is because the building is so old, but you have to give up something to get such an amazing location, and it is just a beautiful old German hotel

Staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Convenient parking in courtyard(€8 per day). Free bicycles to use. Fantastic location for local restaurants and bars. Great breakfast with eggs made to order and decent English breakfast tea.

Lovely old Hotel full of character in the center of the city. Close to restaurants and buses

No aircon, but wasn't too bad despite high outside temperatures, rooms at the front could be noisy due to people at night.

Quality of the staff (not everyone speaks English but that was not an issue at all) - we have simply felt as the most important people to everyone at the hotel - that’s how it should be everywhere. We will return with pleasure.

The gym was small and 2 people felt like crowd but the hotel had the gym so that matters more than the fact of being small 💪
