I had such a fantastic stay here. The hotel is in a beautifully quiet spot – a really quaint, peaceful location that makes it easy to switch off and relax. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel a sense of calm as soon as you arrive. But what really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were genuinely some of the best I’ve encountered – friendly, professional, and always happy to help. On more than one occasion, they went out of their way for me, offering thoughtful touches and support that really made a difference. It’s rare to come across that kind of service where you feel people actually care, not just ticking boxes. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. It wasn’t flashy, but it had real charm, and everything felt well looked after and considered. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

The breakfast was well presented with lots of variety and very tasty. Certainly enough for two people with a good appetite.

Cleliness of the room was top notch, large comfy bed with a good size bathroom.

Location and the Room view was amazing

The bed was not comfortable as the 2 mattresses seperated the whole time. I would also suggest adding a fan and hairdryer to the room 🙂

Breakfast was sufficient and tasty. Staff was really friendly.

Breakfast was a good standard one, would have liked some yoghurt. Bed comfy and wide, quiet location after restaurant of hotel closed at 12/1 pm. Heating in room and bathroom worked well, good water pressure of shower.

Pillows not meeting standard (though I always bring my own as have neck problems) Restaurant noise (people, kitchen work, music) from downstairs very loud. So if a light sleeper it gets first silent when restaurant closes. But then very silent at night. Parking was an issue due to all the restaurant guests (had to find a space a bit away)

Location was exactly right for what we needed. 10 minutes to Pesch and 4 minutes from Esch. Room was clean. and heating was on fully. Water was hot. The room has a coffee machine with capsules. There was a nice range of toiletries available. The mattress was soft ( excellent for me!) The pizzeria downstairs was nicely decorated and the food looked excellent ( although we didn't get a chance to eat a main course). Breakfast was good, with Italian salami, cheeses, cold meats and smoked ham. Jam, Nutella, butter, Cream cheese, coffee, orange juice was also served.

The shower has a curtain which meant that a substantial amount of water ended up on the bathroom floor even though I tried to avoid this. Apparently there will be a shower cabin installed soon. The coffee capsules, sugar, milk etc weren't filled up the next day but on asking were readily supplied. The room was very cold on arrival ( it was 1ºC outside)- it would have been nice if the radiator had been switched on before we arrived. It was acceptably warm by bed time ( within 3-4 hours). The main entrance door has a code lock ( ask for the number before arrival - we didn't know this and we hadn't received a message to explain this - it was also Ruhetag meaning a search for the telephone number to contact the owners). The stairs from the entrance door to the first floor are old and steep ( they are attractive though) meaning anyone with mobility / health issues will have difficulties. The owners can do little about this as the building is old ( with old features ) this is just something to be aware of when booking. We were actually quite happy with our choice of accommodation and hope that these comments will be taken at face value.
