Everything! The hotel is amazing, atmospheric, fantastic. The best on Rhein! Anastasiya at reception was very friendly and helped us a lot during all our stay. Restaurant food was great, white wines were perfect.

Nothing Sometimes the cleaning ladies knocked at the door too earlier for cleaning.

The hotel has great location, amazing view and nice park. There are many trekking trails in the surroundings. Generally the condition of the facility is good. There is a large parking. The reception staff is hospitable. The breakfast is superb!

The poll is very small for such size hotel, but the bigger problem is that it was very dirty. There was a paper napkin in the water and it haven't been cleaned during our stay! Also, the cleaning service is poor. Actually our room haven't been cleaned at all three days, despite the request that we have made at the reception and the sign hat we left on the door.

the room I had was not impressing and for such an amazing hitel i was expecting a little more from the room and the staff were not veey flexible for any upgrades with a little discount , so you get what you book. i also asked for a late checkout and the receptionist declined it saying there is other guest tomorrow wich it was clear the hotel was not full and i doubt it they just were not helpful and strickt !

Our stay at this hotel was truly special for both my husband and me. We were absolutely delighted with everything - the hotel itself and, of course, the wonderful staff. To fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere, I believe it’s essential to learn about the history of this place. Here, you don’t just stay - you have the chance to touch history. We are deeply grateful for this experience and highly recommend it to everyone!

It was a nice property, and room was large enough and had a wonderful amazing view of castle ruins and the Rhine. Breakfast was outstanding, plenty of options to choose from, and even had cook to order items. The French toast was delicious. Very nice staff all throughout hotel. Enjoyed the daily bottled waters left in room.

Bathroom was small. Onsite evening dining was extremely expensive.

This was all round luxury comfort. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Particularly enjoyed having dinner and then breakfast on the respective terraces overlooking the Rhine. Spectacular sunset with balloonists floating by. Great range of breakfast. Enjoyed its heritage and history.

I had to leave after one day. One needs to be fit to walk for long corridors as this is a large resort.

Our Rhine-view room had a spectacular view with balcony, the bed was extremely comfortable and the hotel in general is delightful. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide range of foods in a beautiful setting.

We were wrongly charged for two breakfasts included in the room price, at a cost of more than 60 Euros. When I spoke to the accounts department they did not offer any apology or compensation, but promised to reimburse us. In the event they did not make the transfer, and we had to return to the hotel in person to resolve the situation.

The room was spacious and even though we were on the top floor, the air conditioning meant the room was comfortable with all the facilities we would expect. Bill’s restaurant was superb, and seemed popular with non hotel guests. We ate twice at the restaurant for dinner and both times were consistently good. There was a mistake on our dessert order where we were given the wrong dessert (I got the carrot cake instead of the cheese board!) but we were able to keep the carrot cake as complimentary due to their mistake, suffice to say I was very full afterwards! I had a couple of spa treatments with Memory who was amazing and I would highly recommend her for any of the spa treatments. A great location for Bonn and The Drachenfels if you are travelling by car. The views from the hotel are spectacular and there is plenty of car parking (for a few) at the hotel.

The public areas are vast, with a lot of stairs/elevators/corridors to various parts of the hotel. The restaurants were far from the Reception area, but signposts directed you to where you needed to go. Just be prepared to walk! We had a coffee and cake at the Charles Bistro, but the service was very slow. It took 20 mins just to have someone take my order! The place did not seem very busy but there were a few tables outside who seemed to be served by another food stall? Once we finished and asked for the bill, it took around another 20 mins to finally pay. I would recommend not coming here if you have time constraints.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location with stunning views over Bonn and the Rhein. Lovely, well-appointed rooms, excellent facilities, very comfortable and clean. The hotel is an oasis peace and tranquility. The staff were friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommended the hotel.

Superb place - stunning views and fabulous architecture. This was the most expensive hotel on our recent trip - and easily the nicest - an amazing place, and DEFINITELY worth visiting even if only for a day. The spa is included in the hotel - and OMG how relaxing. Just superb. Staff are super friendly and nice, also - we checked out but forgot our swimming costumes - we came back a few hours later and they were in a bag for us!! Restaurant was surprisingly good value; yes it was expensive, but the food was amazing, and oh the view!!! We had vegetarian risotto (amazing), and the most stunningly delicious spinach dish I’ve ever had (steamed spinach in a creamy sauce). Worth it just for the spinach!!

Property was superb. One negative thing common with many German, Austrian, and other countries nearby restaurants is that they have people smoking next to your table - they should keep smokers in a separate place, as the smell is terrible, and really spoils the nice meal. At this place they kindly moved our table away from the smokers, but they should have a special place for the smokers.
