I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Insel in Bonn! The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options that set the perfect tone for the day. The staff were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-appointed, making it a true home away from home. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bonn for its outstanding hospitality and memorable experience.

The room was lovely and cool with ceiling fan and was also very well equipped with TV, Drink machine and Fridge. The breakfast was amazing everything you could possibly want and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect in the town centre plenty of shops and restaurants also park across the road for a nice walk. We will definitely be going back.

It was perfect for us

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. As someone with 13 years of experience working in the hotel industry across various establishments, I must say that the breakfast provided here was truly exceptional. The selection and variety surpassed anything I have seen before, even in larger hotels. It was a delightful and delicious start to each day. The room I stayed in was modest in size, but it met all my needs and left me satisfied. While it may not have had any extravagant features, it was comfortable and provided a pleasant stay. Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel kindly arranged a kinderbet for our baby. Their attention to detail and consideration for our family’s needs was greatly appreciated.

I am a frequent visitor to the Insel hotel in Bonn, I like the spacious room, with great natural light, excellent bed, comfortable and clean bathroom, very very nice staff and a great breakfast. This is my favorite location in Bonn.

I’d prefer longer front entrance hours

The room had AC which is what we really wanted. It is in a great location if you want to explore Bad Godesberg. The breakfast was extensive and really delicious.

The shower was very tight and splashed water out onto the floor. Not such a big deal, but I couldn’t imagine trying to shower a child in there if they were small enough to still need help.

I like that they have a lot of vegan options in the breakfast and the shampoo is also earth friendly. The staff is super helpful and friendly, They make you feel really welcomed. Keep the good vegan options! And the sauna was also really relaxing and clean. Also the self made juices were awesome. LOTS of options!

I didn't like the bed so much, because it was a too soft for me. Normally I would like a more rigid bed that can support your back. Something more ergonomic would have helped more. But other than that, everything really really nice.

Insel Hotel has the most delicious, wonderful variety of food for breakfast. The space was large and you could also sit in the main dining room. My son travels a lot for business and said this was the nicest breakfast he’s had!

We like everything, nothing negative to say

It’s a perfectly balanced hotel

The area is scary. Full of mugs in the evening. I was intimidated by several Indic while coming back to the hotel. They approached me and started abusing me. Their main argument was that my „Slavic face“ was to white for their town.

The hotel has all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. I personally apppreciated greatly the gym and the sauna. The gym is rather small, but through the high quality multi-purpose equipment allows for a good full body workout. The cherry on top however was the wellness area and the sauna, which were top-notch quality, spacious, clean and very cosy design, which supports full relaxation. The staff was also very friendly and made us feel at home.

Sauna was only available after 5pm on weekdays.

Quiet and comfortable room. Bathroom was clean, small but functionable. Good choice at breakfast. Car parking available, convenient and seemed very secure.

We arrived on a Sunday and stayed on a Public Holiday Monday which meant we had limited external restaurant choice and the hotel restaurant was not open. The hotel is sort of situated in a shopping precinct at the front which was not an issue but seemed a bit strange.
