I arrived at midnight, but my room was easily accessible thanks to the instrcutions from the property staff. Their communication is great. The breakfast was amazing! Also nice location, relatively easy to be reached.

The rooms could partially be described as out of date. There's bars in front of some windows which prevents you from opening them and the bathrooms aren't the most beautiful. But the beds are really comfortable!

So we chose this one for budget and location, but ended up really loving out stay! The hotel is more like a stately mansion in the countryside, with a beautiful inner courtyard turned beergarden. The rooms are a bit dated, yes - but that is quite what I would expect in an old historical building. I found the rooms quite comfortable and cozy, and also the bathroom was clean and large enough. Breakfast was quite generous with a really good selection. Ideally located for hiking, as serveral trail heads (including to Drachenfels) start nearby. Königswinter is also accessible by public transportation. Absolute bonus points for the cultural experience: so Haus Schlesien is also a cultural centrum for Silesians and Silesian culture, they have a free onsite museum and a changing exhibition, plus lots of information of the people and their exodus after WW2. Having Silesian roots myself, I really loved the chance to learn and reconnect with it.

It's such a shame the museum and hotel in general lacks English explanations. Was OK for me (can speak German and translated for boyfriend), but it would be so much better to give at least quick summaries for international visitors!

I loved the character, surroundings & history of the hotel. My room was very comfortable & clean. Staff seemed lovely plus friendly. It was great having a 'German' experience with the food, which was excellent including breakfast. I had to work to recall my german to translate things & initially to check in but that is not a complaint I have with the place. My son & I stayed for 2 nights & I would definitely stay again.

There wasn't a hot water jug in my room to make coffee or tea but the restaurant staff were very obliging whenever I asked for some.

I loved my stay here, so peaceful and simple.🍀 The staff was friendly, the breakfast delicious, the pond with fountain and the sound from the fountain in back of the haus was very nice.

its is a very nice place we had a spacy room with comfortable emperor size bed. There is a very nice interesting museum in the hotel building.

bathroom is a bit small, but its not bothering a lot

So this didn't really feel like a hotel, more like a piece of beautiful history with a beer garden in it's courtyard, so quiet and peaceful which I really liked, as well as a totally top notch really well organised breakfast in it's lovely restaurant so I fully recommend as value for money. The room was super clean and loved the attic style window

The wild goulash in the restaurant was not so good, but there were dishes that looked good

Nice hotel in the countryside outside of Bonn. It's about 15 mins to drive from Bonn. Nice old estate, now apparently used for seminars and conferences etc. The room was basic but in a nice and rustic way. Great breakfast as early as 6:15am.

Very nice accomodations in historic setting. Very quiet. Spacious rooms with up-to-date beds. Breakfast buffet was very nice as well, with very friendly staff.

Sanitary facilities in the rooms are of the French "Formule 1" hotel style, i.e. all-plastic retrofitted cabin, very small. Functional, yes, but not a place where you would want to spend time at all. Also, no other facilities at the location, e.g. no pool, no gym. Free parking is available, but no garage, and with a short walk around the premises to the parking area at the back of the property. No elevator - I don't need that, but for some this may be good to know.
