We've had the most wonderful experience staying at Schloss Lieser. The hotel exuded charm and elegance, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The spacious and beautifully decorated room provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. The amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back in the future. Schloss Lieser truly exceeded our expectations and made our time there truly special. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience.

It's an exceptionally impressive castle, during the day but especially during the evening when it's all lit up. There are many nice corners to sit and enjoy a cup of tea (or other drink). The spa is great with an estimated 10x5m pool, 3 different saunas, a steamroom, an infrared cabin, and wellness center with many different treaties (due to day trips I didn't have time for this). The food was fabulous, including the vegetarian dishes and our young kids just loved the 3-course (no chicken fingers for them). The first night we didn't want to have a full dinner and enjoyed some delicious snacks and dishes in the hotel bar, including a soup from the restaurant menu.

I would have to make up something. We were there during the ultra low season, so there were not that many people in the hotel. This has clear advantages, possibly including a lower price, but it may have been nicer to have a few extra guests. In all honesty, I would not mind to go there again to have some days of rest and enjoy the facilities again.

One of the most beautiful hotel buildings that I've seen, inside and outside. Photos cannot describe it well enough. The village is very quiet but luckily the hotel has a cozy bar and a restaurant, a pool table and some books. The spa has long opening hours, and possibility to go outside for a break. Parking the car was very easy.

The spa's sauna section has an open policy: swimsuit or no swimsuit. So not suitable for children, and can be uncomfortable for adults. The staff could maybe offer more conversation and information, but that is just a personal preference.

We loved everything. From the moment you lay eyes on this beautiful property, its gorgeous curb appeal and breath taking architechture, simply cant be beat. The comsierge was superb. Thankful that all of the staff spoke english. The complimentary drink was delightful. The room was gorgeous with a very comfortable bed and very relaxing luxurious bathroom. The evening dinner was delicious. Our waiter was great. The pool was so clean and inviting. The saunas were nice and hot, allowing you to go to a tranquil state. The breakfast was so delicious. It was everything we could have hoped for. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and she truly felt like a princess.

We wish there were a few more English speaking chanels on the tv.

It was an high-end experience (we do not normally stay in such a luxurious hotel). You step back centuries in time. The restaurant delivered us a nice 'surprise' diner with good wine.

The shower was equipped with a nice looking cold and hot water tap, but that should be replaced by a modern mixer asap! First: it took endless to calibrate to a nice temperature (spoiling a lot water). But then the smallest touch made it either freezing cold or steamy hot. There is 1 (slow) charger for EV's. It is in the hotel parking, which cost 20 EUR per night...but on top of that you pay 19 EUR for charging your car :-(

It's the second time we're staying here and most probably not the last time. It is a unique hotel, well located, it has all the small bits that could make the difference

We've stayed in the cottage ( so not in the main building). While the rooms were impeccable, it does take a bit from the charm ( especially in the winter, when you have to get out of the building to reach all the facilities in the main building). For all our future stays, main building only.

This hotel just knocks it out of the park! Service is terrific, food is fabulous , the spa is great too! We were there for 4 nights over the Christmas holidays and we never went anywhere else during g our stay. The renovation a few years ago was the perfect blend of modern amenities yet preserving the classic charm of a castle of this vintage None of us wanted to leave! Can't recommend it enough...

The dinner service seemed a little slow but not French slow.

It is an amazing hotel , very well located on the river Mosel. Very friendly staff, with the check in they serve you a glass of Sekt. The restaurant is classy with some adventures on the menu and a great selection of open Mosel wines. The spa and pool area - plus the gym are super clean and well equiped. You feel like a royal, the red carpet rolled out. Management is super organised and keeps the hotel smoothly running. All with all super comfy, lot of international guests, but still the germany hospitality is there.

The art in the corridors are all reproductions and a bit painfull for the eyes. But it is the American way of decorating.

Wow what's not to like. From the moment you drive in front of this stunning building to the greeting from all the staff you are made to feel special. A welcome drink of the terrace overlooking the Moselle river. Fine dining in the evening (the meal was superb) and an excellent breakfast.

As we'd booked half board we felt the choice given for those not A La Carte were a bit lacking

The Staff does an amazing job, professional, effective and friendly, readily engaging, even assisting with solving unusual problems (fixing a scooter). The Schloss Lieser, obviously being a castle, is an unmatched location, worth the banner "Autograph". The breakfast experience was unique as well, again from the "royal" seating, over the broad selection of food items even including local sparkling to yet another subsection of friendly and professional staff. We very much enjoyed the wine tasting experience organized in the cellars of Schloss Lieser. From Schloss Lieser one can discover the fantastic Mosel area on foot, by bike or car. Countless wineries in walking distance.

Frankly, really hard to tell what I didn't like. If at all paradise could be free....everything has its price I guess. Not surprising in a genuine castle: I did discover that a spider had just built a new home on our bedroom ceiling. :-)
