Amazing staff at this hotel. Truly 5* treatment, so lovely and helpful. It was my birthday during the stay (I didn't mention it) but the staff were so observant they wished me a happy birthday and gifted me some chocolate which was really sweet. I had an excellent massage in the spa. The view from our room was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic.

There was a little sewagey smell outside the entrance and in the hallway which was off-putting. And we made use of the bowling alley, perhaps a little naively without realising it was not free, as we didn't see any pricing in the welcome book, and the staff didn't forewarn us.. Which was fine but just something to note!

The hotel that exceeded all our expectations. The hotel and the room was cozy, upscale, and luxurious, providing a truly comfortable experience. The service was exceptionally friendly, making us feel very welcome. While the breakfast was somewhat limited, it had everything we needed. The hotel's restaurant was excellent, and the terrace offered stunning views of the city. The location was fantastic, situated in the heart of the old town, right next to the dom. Overall, an outstanding stay that I highly recommend.

Friendly reception - room change was quickly organised. Rooms very comfortable. The problem I encountered was no staff at the dining room. Saw no staff on my first breakfast morning. Had to find my own cutlery- wanted to have dinner on my second evening could find no staff to seat me. So I left and went down town

we have stayed at the Burgkeller 4 times, same week each year while we teach at a school on Internet policy and technology. Always a pleasure to stay at the hotel, the rooms are very comfortable, the staff very helpful.

The only thing I don't like are the wasps in the outdoor restaurant area. Too many!

(1) Wonderful breakfast in their cosy restaurant with excellent view. (2) Could take our dog with us to have breakfast, it was amazing! (3) Amazing location

(1) There is not electric kettle, free tea / coffee provided in the room. (2) The extra charge for dog is s bit too much (20 Euro for a night); and it would be great if some basic things for dogs were provided, such as water/ food bowls and doggie poopy bagsn(although we have all of them). It could show dogs are very welcomed.

Beautiful old building modernised and well kept. Interesting wiggly corridors. Lovely furnishings. Our room was huge and had magnificent views. You could have the same views from the breakfast room and the terrace. Great food for dinner and also for breakfast.

If you're gonna visit Meißen - stay here! The view is amazing. We spend 4 days here. Our meal in the balcony restaurant was the highlight. Fabulous food and wine with breathtaking views over the roofs below. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice.

The pillows were very soft and i prefer a firmer pillow but not really a complaint, more of a personal preference

THE CHOICE OF PILLOWS IN THE BED WAS NOT SUITABLE FOR ME. THEY WERE TOO SOFT AND FOUND IT HARD TO HAVE A COSY SLEEP

A very nice hotel in a superb historical location! Very clean, friendly staff, large and spacious room, the view from the room and from the terrace of the restaurant is magnificent!

The location and the view. The size of the room was very large. The bed and the bathroom were both very nice. I really liked the double rain shower!
