Room was amazing with separate toilet and shower. Spacious. Very stylish. Nice continental breakfast selection. Not tempted with a big English breakfast grill - because they don't do one! But they will make you a nice omelette. Its a sports/health club and you can use the huge and excellent gym for free (gets a bit hot!) and you can use the pool. They have big tennis club and I am sure you could get some good coaching here. Its right next to the Englisher garten which is brilliant for running. This is the place you go if you want running, gym, tennis, swimming, sauna, etc. The public transport into Munich centre is excellent. Bus 50 + underground U6 gets you there in about 25minutes. (or you can run the 6km !). If you are not into a sporty break then obviously this place is a waste of time for you and you might get a hotel nearer the centre. Resaurant served nice healthy food. I loved the huge bowl of green beans in the pod starter - only in a health club!

I recommend this place. The rooms are big and pretty comfortable. The hotel is located far from the center and you need to take a bus to the nearest U-bahn. The breakfast was really good and tasty but what surprised me was that it was served to the table, which takes time as there was just 1 waitress. The area is really nice and the hotel offers multiple sport facilities.

Location. I would also expect a refill of bottles of water in the room as it is done in other hotels. There's also no tea/coffee amenities in the room so you are left with no water if you don't buy it in advance. A small bottle of water at the reception is 3 EUR which is highly overpriced.

Room was clean and comfortable and so were the beds too. Spacious shower. Nice french balcony also to get some fresh air. Lovely peaceful surroundings in the heart of the nature right next to the river. Restaurant served fresh food and a lot of options for vegetarians too.

Air condition didn't work in my room and the temperature was slightly too warm for me to sleep well. on Booking.com it was mentioned that the hotel has spa, but there were 2 saunas and an outdoor pool, which was not in use in October. There were about 20-30 stairs, which I also didn't know of in advance and from the reception this was not mentioned. I travelled with a heavy luggage.

The facilities are very modern, with air conditioning, very comfortable beds and pillows. It was the perfect place to recover after an exhausting day. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was more than enough food. Although the area is far away from the city center, it was perfect for me as I was going to the stadium and the connection was very comfortable.

The cleaning could be better: in the rooms, behind the main door, there was dust/hair. The rest of the room was clean, but the attention to detail could've been better. Also, it was a hot day in Munich, and we were looking forward to a dip in the pool, and we were sadly told that the cleaning mechanism was broken and we couldn't use it. Lastly, the restaurant for breakfast seemed understaffed. The waitress was very nice and did her best, but it was only her, so naturally, that meant long waiting times to get one's food.

This hotel is a real oasis. The location is peaceful, with lots of public transportation options close to it. It is easy to reach Munich from there. The room is beautifully decorated, comfort to its maximum! Every details is functional and beautiful. The shower has good pressure and the water does not flow out of the shower area. The facilities are a dream for people that like sports! Honestly, I loved our time there and am already looking for excuses to go back to Munich to stay at Scheck Hotel again.

The breakfast was amazing. The room was comfortable and spacious. The shower had great water pressure. The sauna and amenities were fantastic. They were doing construction on the showers by the sauna so it was a little bit loud but we were glad the sauna was open. They had a lovely area above the suana the lounge in while cooling down. I would go back again in a heart beat despite the construction.

As usual great stay in good location, right at the English garden, awesome gym& sauna and grateful we lived on ground level as my luggage is heavy. Always coming back!!

Unfortunately there are so many smokers in Germany and they smoked right in front of our room/ terrace. I am highly allergic to it. The cigarette smoke would also blow up into the gym, one day which is not pleasant.

Friendly staff, great gym and nice little sauna with fantastic recovery zone and free tea. Location perfect. Room provided with fridge and kettle. Extra towels for Sauna available.

Cleaning staff knocking on my door, wanting to clean my room before checkout. No German or English speaking. Not a biggie but happened 2x so far.

Super! Hotel room super comfortable, in the near of the pool and restaurant. Gym was great. Restaurant food super. Perfekt stay, would visit again.

Cigarette tray on the terrace full, and beer bottles not cleaned up. Glasses for water were not clean. The rest was very clean.

Super friendly young staff, great location in residential area in Munich very nice surroundings to walk, run, sport actitivties, pretty "cabin-style" rooms very tidy and clean. I needed taxis every day and reception young girls a young boys always very helpful and professional. Very kind gentleman at the hotel bar preparing great breakfasts.
