Hotel Adler Stube is a lovely place in green and calm Munstertal. We chose it because it is relatively close to Europa Park/Rulantica while still on the way to our further destination. The hotel is kept in the vintage style but the number of smart solutions (tablets in the rooms, online check-in, possibility of picking up the key through the mailbox, robot serving the egg dishes in the morning) create a great, well-thought mix. The staff is fantastic and very helpful with our late arrival and they suggested places for a walk. You can also use the free bus ticket that is given to you and explore the area this way. Breakfast was tasty. Fully recommend!

It was quiet and remote but not isolated. Each room has its own patio or balcony. There are three different hotel houses that are apart of the hotel. Each “house” has a nice common room separated by a door to the guest rooms. The staff was really nice and had no problem when we wanted to extend the trip a second day. They spent time letting us know what areas to explore and we actually went to two of their recommendations in one day. The hotel also has private parking but would assume in the on season you may have to reserve it. I absolutely would come back and would recommend to friends. If you are a coffee lover they also include gourmet coffee instead of your normal Keurig Costco brand. They have a super sweet black cat named Nala on property too!

The only negative I could say is being American the rooms are smaller than what I’m used to. But in European standards it’s very spacious!

It’s a family run business, they are all very kind and helpful. Saw New Years fireworks in the valley from our balcony! Good location for the Black Forest, was 45 min drive to full snow in feldberg, which was amazing on New Years Day! Breakfast very nice, German style and they cook you eggs of choice. Brilliant rooms, all very big. Best thing was the robot that helped in the breakfast room, the kids loved it!

The hotel had many wooden carvings and charming details that reflected its true mountain spirit. The view from the bedroom terrace was very relaxing. I was surprised by the amount of toiletries and small necessities the bathroom had. The room was very quiet and cozy and room temperature was easily adjustable with excellent energy saving thermostat. I loved the breakfast that had a lot of choices for a healthy and tasty start of my day. Oh yeah...Marie Schwartzwald robot is so much fun and excellent addition to the busy team.

Perfectly situated hotel with cosy clean rooms and lovely owners. Proximity of hiking trails and beautiful location. Even my dog received a small gift!
