The room was very spacious and clean, amazing bathroom The staff was very kind Beds were comfortable, the shower was good There's a parking lot available, hotel looks very modern Mini fridge was stacked with snacks and drinks, of course for a price but the prices are visible before you even touch anything

When we entered the room, the windows were open and apparently the heater was on The air conditioning doesn't work very well The TV has smart apps but you can't use them, asked at reception but apparently the TV's are too old to be able to use them

room was nice and kept up well. Bathroom was very roomy, modern and well done. The bed was super comfortable. Front desk staff was very helpful, even late at night.

I wasn't told how to adjust the temperature so the first night the room was too warm to sleep comfortably. After that I learned how to adjust the temp and slept well. The blue light on the tv that shows the time was annoying as it is very bright and shines directly toward the bed. They should offer something to cover this. I used a hand towel and draped it over the tv to keep it from shining in my face. Oberhausen doesn't appear to have much to offer near the hotel.

We weren't told but we got a free upgrade which was very cute considering it was Valentine's day! There was an elevator right next to the room that went straight to the parking lot The bed was huge and comfortable, there was a balcony, the shower is amazing The staff is very friendly and helpful, no complaints It wasn't my first time here and it won't be my last

The TVs are a bit old, you cant watch any streaming services on there but they do provide DVDs and DVD players

Not the nicest area of Oberhausen, not that many restaurants around, at least not within walking distance Parking tends to fill up quite fast; luckily there's free parking in nearby streets

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Parkhotel with my two children, and I am incredibly impressed with our experience. Our room was a decent size, amply accommodating the four of us without feeling cramped. There was plenty of space for the kids to play and for us to relax, making our stay very comfortable. The bathroom deserves a special mention. It was large and well-equipped, making our daily routines an absolute breeze. Cleanliness was top-notch, and there was never a shortage of towels or toiletries. What made our mornings delightful was the hotel's breakfast offering. There was a good variety of choices, appealing to both the kids and me. The food was fresh. The dining area was also kept clean and well-stocked. Speaking of the staff, their service exceeded our expectations. They were very helpful, accommodating, and professional, and fulfilled all our requests promptly and with a smile. Their level of customer service was unparalleled and stood out as the highlight of our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their dedication truly elevated our experience. I have been to many hotels in my travels, but the staff at Parkhotel were genuinely the best. I wholeheartedly recommend Parkhotel for families and solo travelers alike. Their blend of spacious accommodations, excellent food, and extraordinary customer service will guarantee a memorable stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Lovely facilities and excellent food in the restaurant and a wonderful breakfast selection. There is onsite parking and covered parking, which we used for our motorbikes. It has a sauna and solarium room, which was fantastic. The room was positively palatial. The staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English as our German is limited. We would stop again.

There is nothing to dislike, just note that the restaurant is a bit pricey, but the attached pub is more rustic and slightly cheaper. The hotel is situated on a main junction and there was a little bit of traffic noise but nothing excessive.

It is a lovely hotel, very modern and looks good. they accommodate pets and there is good parking. It was easy to find. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed and the bed linen were comfy too. We had a lovely stay there.

The only thing was that, although lovely, the breakfast selection was quite limited for a 4 star hotel.

This is very silly but there wasn’t a screen on the backside of the hair dryer so my hair was pulled in when I had it facing the wrong way. Entirely my fault though.

Everything was great, above expectations: location is near the attractions area (Legoland, Sea life, Aqualand, Tiger Jump), clean, comfortable, very good breakfast, room size ok, bathroom great; sauna is excellent and not busy. Staff was resposive, kind. Ample free parking. Faily quiet. Room price is great, too.

I needed to buy a bottle of water from the reception/bar in the evening, and was informed that it will be put on my bill, but I was not informed of its price. At checkout I found out that it was way too expensive (about 5% of the per-night room price). Please let customers know about these excessive prices.

The suite was large and the kids enjoyed the bubble bath. Large bathroom, nice seating area and good bed.

Parking at the hotel is limited, 9 out of 10 times its full. Park in the nearby streets. The receptionist was not nice, didnt welcome you to the hotel. Young short head blond was rude - 2 questions were too much to ask. She would talk to the other receptionist in German about you while your there. Little that she knew we understood German and was happy not to speak to her again! The older lady was very nice and pleasant.
