We stayed just one night at Gala Hotel and it was perfect for a stopover. The room was huge — very comfortable for the four of us and our dog, with plenty of space to relax. Everything was clean, quiet, and well set up. The staff were kind and welcoming, making check-in easy and stress-free. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with enough variety to start the day. The location is convenient if you’re passing through the area, and the parking right at the hotel made it even easier. Excellent value for money — we’d happily stay again!

We needed a cheap place for an overnight sleep with not too long detour. Booked it 2h before arriving for 8pm check in and requested an extra bed which was accepted. The host is such a nice and friendly man. The breakfast looked delicious, but we are not breakfast people and only had coffees. The evening drinks we had and the coffees were so cheap -€9 for everything. The room was clean with comfortable beds. The location looks good as well - there was a park with a river nearby and public transport stops.

Needed a bed for a night as part of a road trip through Germany, so we didn't arrive her until late. The hotel was fantastic at arranging handing over the keys outside of check-in hours. It's really simple. Messaged me the code for the keybox and was as simple as that! The room was HUGE (40) and the bathroom was spotless! We had an absolute bargain with this and would definitely recommend. Free parking at the rear of the hotel for around 10 cars. They were all full when we arrived but we managed to park on the street. Would definitely stay again!

The breakfast was good, room was a decent size with a modern bathroom. Wi-Fi was fast which is nice as other hotels we stayed at it was usually slow.

The bed was king sized but the mattresses were two twins so there was a gap in the middle that made the area unusable. I wish they included a fan or some sort of AC, it was a bit hot in our room due to the weather. Since it’s on a busy road opening the windows lets a lot of noise in.

Very nice, clean and spacious room and bathroom. Charming hotel with cosy atmosphere. Free parking right behind it. Friendly staff.

Near busy road. If you keep windows closed, noise is acceptable but not ideal. No airco. Only very few restaurants within walking distance. All of them were closed when we were there, except for a kebab place with fortunately quite good food.

Loved everything about our stay Big room with high ceilings very light and airy, comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom, great breakfast (you pay extra 12 euros for adults, kids are free) which was totally worth it, nothing was too hard they even had non-dairy milk which most places in Germany don’t provide. Free parking is perfect too! We will be back.

Clean, good value with nice breakfast and newly renovated bathroom. Pleasantly surprised by this last minute booking and the warm welcome we received.

A bit older, but can add to the charm. Does have stairs from parking to reception, in case that’s a barrier for some.

The rooms sizes, beds and cleanliness were great. Hotel staff were very friendly and generally nice people.

Not a major one, but the lack of elevator if you stay in the upper floors and have large suitcases to carry up, and I would rate the breakfast as average though kids were not charged, which was a nice bonus.

Breakfast was superb! Staff were very helpful and spoke fair English. Room was spacious and well presented. Parking out back was free and available just for hotel guests.

Looks a bit old fashioned with the carpet but didn’t really bother me.

Lovely walk into town along the river about 55 minutes. Romulus and Rhemus italian restaurant about a 15 minute walk from hotel. Car parking at back. Little kitchenette with fridge

Lack of bars, shops in the vicinity. Reception closed at 8pm. Entrance door at back was not locked at night so little concern about security.
