The Location is within walking distance of the City and the most exceptional agreement with the local Hospital for a super Breakfast which is a reasonable price and good value for Money, This being not in or at the Hotel but only 5 minutes walk across the road.

There was a slight noise from outside due to some guests returning late in the evening this wasn't a great annoyance but it maybe a subject of the check in procedure to inform guest not to stand outside other rooms talking or making noises after a particular time of day/night.

Rooms are clean and tidy in excellent condition just as they were the last time we used the hotel 7 and 10 years ago! We cross the road and go for breakfast in the hospital cafe, this excellent too. Ideal location for visiting the city of Soest or Mohne Dam, this time we used it as a stop off to/from Leipzig.

The self check in machine is a bit slow but works ok. No beer in the vending machine anymore- 5 thirsty motorcyclists!

We're stayed in Soest City Motel the second time already and we're happy with the room and location. The room was very clean and comfortable, only it was a little bit noise, but there is not a fault of tis Motel that the rails are near.

If the owner of this Motel could find some possibilities in the future to organizate some simple breakfast or even put to the rooms some coffee or tea, it would be excellent!

It was a lovely, clean and warm room. Lots of space to love around, the bed was comfortable; There was desk space and wardrobe space. The bathroom was decent, a fair size, no complaints here. The check-in was nice and straightforward, I was there after the reception desk closed, so did this myself. I didn’t have any interactions with the staff so can’t comment on them. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the snack machines were cash only - as a traveller only using my card, it meant no snacks or drinks for me 😂

I didn’t really have any bad experiences/things to note about this stay. Except that the machines were cash only and I didn’t have any haha. With it also being a Sunday, there wasn’t anywhere open I could get any- so make sure you have some with you.

The motel was located conveniently within a walking distance to the town centre and a short driving distance to the thermal spa in the neighbouring town. The equipment was simple and totally sufficient. The bathroom was new and very good. We could easily check-in and pay in a machine located in a small reception room.

Although we got a confirmation that there is a free parking, at the spot we were not sure whether we need to pay or not. The signs at the parking place next to the motel were not clear in our view.

Lady at the reception was very kind. She is speaking english very well. Also there is a shed for bikes. The room was clean. Also for 3 euro you can wash and dry your clothing.

There were no kettle in room to make a coffee/tea nor the glasses. Also there is polygon nearby and we heard shots even on sunday evening.

Excellent location, only a five minute walk from the train, and only a few more to the town centre. Plenty of parking. Room clean. Great to be able to check in so late - I arrived at around 1.15am, but the automated check in was easy.

The rooms are a little too functional. Very white decor, with almost a clinical feel. Some warmer colours and lighting would help the feeling of comfort.

My room was Spartan but exactly what I wanted.it was clean, single bed, en suite, the room facilities were sufficient for me I enjoyed my one night stay there. Location was superb, short walk to the town centre where there were shops, restaurants and bars. Soest is a pretty little town.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

Free parking was fantastic. The location was very central and close to both the main train station and the city centre and shops. Close by to supermarkets and good takeaways.

Kitchenette was smaller than expected but functional. Room was a little echoey and whilst free parking is nice it was also quite busy and not very well advertised which spaces could be parked in by motel guests

We checked in late in the evening when there was no staff but the automatic check-in was smooth. The room was clean and ready. As I have stayed in this hotel before, they remembered my previous request and had provided it already in the room. City Motel is an excellent, budget place to stay in Soest. You can park your car directly in front of your room in most cases.

There is no handwash soap near the wash basin. You need to get your own soap if you want to wash your hands in the washbasin after using the WC.
