It was a great idea to soak up the sun in Agia Galini in November (25 degrees and wonderful for swimming!). The Kissandros Hotel appealed to us spontaneously - and our expectations were exceeded. The wonderful Eleni was a hostess who read our every wish from our eyes - and her son Emanuel helped us with a complicated health issue. The hotel is simply but tastefully furnished. In the middle of the old town of Agia Galini, yet in a very quiet location, a short walk from the harbor. If you like it simple but warm and want to meet real people, the Kissandros Hotel is the place for you.

The breakfast was good, with different food each day, and the staff very accommodating and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The sheets and towels were changed every other day. The hotel is very central in the village so no steps and hills to climb. It was very good value for money and clean, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

There could have been more plugs in the room, to charge phones , hair driers etc. Also the towels maybe need renewing some are rather thin, but otherwise no problems at all, as I said above very good value, and staff very friendly - thank you.

Very good hotel – very comfortable and clean, with a varied and delicious breakfast. The owners are very nice, and they really take care of everything. Plus, it's animal-friendly too! Surrounded by greenery and located on a quiet, pleasant street. If I come back to Agia Galini next year, I’ll definitely stay at this hotel again.

Very kind and helpful hostess, great terrace on the third floor with beautiful views. Breakfast is rich and tasty. Calm place. The interior is old-fashioned, but everywhere is clean and has everything you might need. The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable. Great stay, thanks for such a nice welcome!

Overall, the price-quality ratio is adequate. There was no electrical socket in the room by the bed, there was a small shower cabin. If anyone is concerned - access to the upper floors by stairs.

Excellent staff, very clean room, very good price, good Wi-Fi, well working air conditioning, and after all that, we had breakfast included ! Wow! I am amazed by this hospitality, and I will for sure come back. During our short stay (4 days) she cleaned our room 3 times! It’s amazing, for this value of money! I totally recommend this facility

Parking place, especially when you come with luggage or come back from the beach. In front of the hotel there are 1-2 spots available, and you have to drive a little down to park. But this just a minor head back compared with all the benefits! It is probably the best value of money I’ve encountered in Crete.

Very comfortable stay at this Classic hotel in the heart of the Port town of Agia Galini. We were treated like family during our 4 night stay. Breakfast was perfect every morning and our room was clean and comfortable. We loved our time here sitting out every day on the large terrace outside of our 3rd story room looking over the town and sea view in the distance. Thanks again for our wonderful stay!!!!

Everything was excellent. The location was perfect in a little quiet backstreet of Agia Galini. The room very comfortable and clean. We loved the terraces, a perfect place to relax. The owners are wonderful and there to help in every way possible. In the morning a lovely and delicious breakfast was served in the main dinning area. Very close to shops, bars, tavernas and beach. The room is spacious, clean and with all amenities one needs. There’s a small balcony in which you can hang your towels and swimming suits. Breakfast is also very nice and staff always smiling and helpful. It is a few minutes walk to the nearest beach. The dog of the owner is extremely cute.

The shower was quite small. Some of the guests might be a bit loud at night but not really a major problem.

I really liked the kindness of the hosts. The hotel is lovely, in classic style, comfortable. Breakfast served with love and attention to the needs of the customers. The location is close to the center of the town of Agia Galini.

There were no unpleasant aspects at all!

Loved the hotel, quiet, relaxing and the manager was very polite. The hotel is a bit outdated but everything was kept pristine in terms of cleanliness and the staff emptied trash and cleaned rooms regularly.

I dont mind hard beds but some people might object to it. Also there were unfortunately no electrical outlets near the bed where you would usually charge your phone.
