We only stayed one night in Agia Galini, but it was a truly lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, the young lady from reception made us feel welcome, check-in was fast and smooth, and she was so kind and helpful. Our room was clean, cozy, making it easy to relax after a day of exploring. The hotel’s location is fantastic, close to the town and just a short walk from the sea. When we left, the staff were polite and friendly, leaving us with a really positive impression. We would love to come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agia Galini

Very modern, very clean. Housekeeping was good. Location to beach and town was also good. Air conditioning was very effective and the accommodation was in a quiet location. Two supermarkets were at the end of the street within 25 metres walk. Many restaurants were within a 10 minute walk downhill (steep climb upon return), same for the beach. The bedroom was a good size with a large bed. There is a Nespresso coffee machine, a few pods would have been good as a complimentary starter. Paris the owner/Manager was very helpful and accommodating with lots of local information that he is willing to share.

We were a family of three adults and the space in the lounge was much smaller than anticipated as it doubled as kitchen, diner, bedroom........but we did cope! The photographs on the listing make the space seem much bigger than it actually is. The parking is road side on a very steep hill.....make sure you practice your hill starts:-) The balcony is long and thin, not wide enough to eat as more than two for breakfast. Two could manage it sat at the small bistro table.

Stella Luxury Apartments were our third stop on the island. Calming, pleasant, comfortable, in close proximity to the market, restaurants, bar and everything we needed. We stayed for three days, Agia Galini is an ideal starting point for exploring the surroundings, the nature in the south of the island is wild, unspoiled, the beaches are divine, we visited Tripetra, Matala and small villages in the hills. The owner Paris is a professional and pleasant conversationalist. We recommend it. The three days passed quickly, but we had to go to our next destination in the north of the island...

The rooms were amazing, big and modern with everything! Like staying at a luxury home. Stayed both in a Maisonette and an Apartment. Both great. Great value for money. I will stay again!

I liked every thing. But for those with difficulty with stairs it might be a challenge. Again no problem for me but no pool or breakfast for those who want it.

Bottom line: Much more than expected - excellent! Usually when I’m booking a place, even with good exam of the details offered, I’m downgrading it in 20%…BUT NOT IN THIS CASE. Stella is a huge surprise. Not because it is some super luxurious place (in some measures it’s getting close) but because it is new, clean, beautiful, comfortable, homie, great view (I’ve been told I’ll get “the Mountain View” but it was both mountain and sea) the staff: Paris and the young lady (sorry for not remembering her name) and the household staff. In my point of view this was the best value for money and even more. Love the design love the attitude, loved everything.

NOTHING

Everything was amazing! The room was stunning and large along with the view that was phenomenal. The gentleman who looked after us was lovely. We had breakfast that was delivered to our room and it was absolutely delicious. This is a great area within walking distance to everything you need. We had a home car and although the hotel does not offer parking we were able to park directly outside our room which was fantastic. Highly recommended stay to anyone considering this accommodation, you will not be dissapointed.

Nothing to dislike.

Really pretty room well decorated. Breakfast brought to your room and different everyday (however, without asking the guest’s preference) Central location and walking distance to the center with all the restaurants.

No parking dedicated to the hotel and therefore you have to park in street, hoping you have enough chance to get a spot. And there are not enough space in the street considering the number of rooms so you may need to park « downtown » depending your chance. No elevators, so consider the weight of your luggage. On the 3rd floor, there is no balcony as for other floors, but a terrace which is a « shared » space. If you want to have your privacy you need to close the curtains, but those are too thick and thus you remain in the dark or artificial light whereas you have a blue and sunny sky.

It’s a very stylish and new building, everything was very clean and proper. The bed was big and very comfortable. We slept great. The apartment gets cleaned everyday if you want. It’s very close to the centre with all the restaurants and also to the beach on the other side. Paris is very friendly and helpful, he helped us park the car and we had no problems finding parking spots after that.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Newly renovated hotel on the edge of Aghia Galini village, umpteen steps above the harbour….at least after a week of climbing up and down the steps felt quite fit!! Room was quiet and super comfy, even though approximately another fifty steps to reach the room…. the lack of an elevator might be an inconvenience to some. Friendly personnel, and the lovely girl (forget her name) on the front desk insisted on carrying my suitcase up and down the stairs for me….bless her, and I do not travel light! Aghia Galina has a lovely laid back vibe, with very friendly locals. However thought the beach was pretty grubby and grey which was disappointing. There are some beaches further west which are fabulous.

The property is on good location, close to main activities in the village. The appartments are renovated and looks really good. The bed is very comfortable. Our room had two AC units. One is in the living room and one is on the bedroom. Good thing that the one in the bedroom is not right beside the bed. We used only one in the living room which helped to cool the whole appartments.

Unfortunately, when we came it looked like the room is clean, but later the same day on arrival we saw that there is a lot of dust, floor was not cleaned, but after mentioning that to the staff everything was cleaned properly the next day. I believe cleaning staff should focus a bit better on cleaning the room.
