The hotel is well positioned just in front of the beach (where you can also stay in a private area reserved for hotel guests). The rooms are well equipped with TV, mini-fridge with complementary water, very comfortable mattress and the bathroom is small but full of amenities. Cleaning is top. You can take bus or taxi to the center of Athens in 15-20 mins. There are many restaurants in the area but also the hotel has one. Breakfast is incredibly good and varied (and we were coming from a luxury cruise). You will find food for all tastes and many fresh vegetables, fruits and greek concoctions. There’s a small swimming pool and sun terrace that works as a bar at night with a very pleasant view of the area. Service is exceptional and helpful on whatever need or question we had. We really had a great time and we’ll surely come back.

The lift is pretty slow so you have to wait many time you want to use it. We used more the stairs for speediness. The windows curtains are not black-outs so you if you’re sensitive to light you will wake up early because of sunlight.

***warning, long wonderful review ahead*** I liked everything about this hotel! From the beginning of my discovering this incredibly well priced, excellently located, beach hotel, Demetrious, and Marina were in touch with me before my arrival to make sure my transfer from the airport to the hotel went smoothly. When I arrived, although a little bit on the late side, I was still able to have a drink at the bar before going up to my room for the night. When I walked into my room, there was the most beautiful light, spa sort of fragrance that was instantly relaxing. The bed was the size I requested and soo comfortable! The sheets felt luxurious and the towels in the bathroom so thick and soft just added to a spa feel. On my second night, I had a a fabulous pasta and shrimp dinner in the dining room served perfectly. I ordered a drink which was served with a package of a delightful nut mix that I took up to my sea view room. (With balcony!) I used the robe in the closet and slippers to go up to the rooftop spa and relax from my day of sightseeing. The buffet breakfast in the morning, served on the 7th floor, again with a magnificent sea view was well worth it. The food was delicious and the assortment abundant. The buffet was well stocked and impeccably maintained until it closed. This hotel is a 5 star experience and I give it a 10 rating. I wish there was someplace like this near where I lived!

That I couldn’t stay an extra night!!!

The hotel is beyond praise. It is that rare case when the hotel staff tries to make your vacation perfect. The hotel makes you want to come back again. The breakfast is excellent with a beautiful view of the sea. The room is very clean, new bed linen, nice bath towels. The service on the beach at the hotel is also excellent: free water, safe, nice beach towels. We had the best and most memorable experience during our stay. There are many fine restaurants, cafes and supermarkets close to the hotel. It takes 15 minutes by cab to the center of Athens.

There's no such thing

They have a lovely terrace where you can sit and read a book, or sunbathe on the sun loungers or just sit down and have a drink and watch the sun setting. The great thing is that you can call down to the bar and they will bring the drinks to you so that you can relax without having to move. The breakfast is a mixed of cooked foods, continental, a range of cold meats and cheeses and lovely baked bread, cakes, freshly squeezed orange juice and a range of coffee and teas. The room and ensuite was clean and the bed was ultra comfy. We especially appreciated when they made our beds and tided up when we were out so that we came back to a lovely clean room with bottled water and Nespresso coffee pods.

I feel like the cooked breakfast could have been better, the omelette was delicious but the beans was mixed with peppers and herbs instead of just being plain and the sausages were cocktail or hotdog style ones. It would have been nice to have other fruits other than oranges, bananas and apples.

Loved the location. Hotel is right next to a strip of bars, restaurants, shopping, and grocery stores. Also public transportation via bus and tram 1–2 minute walk. (I caught the bus to the airport for my return flight, only €5.) Hotel room was exceptionally clean. My beachfront/ocean view room with private balcony on the sixth floor was absolutely amazing! Beach days were relaxing after doing numerous day trips and excursions to other islands and cities. The breakfast was great and had a wide variety of options—even fresh squeezed orange juice and ‘to go’ cups for my iced coffee. I used both the rooftop jacuzzi and the spa sauna on the first floor. Both were amazing for a ‘mini’ spa day. The one day that I ate at the hotel restaurant, the food was delicious. All staff were kind and welcoming. Definitely recommend a stay!

There was nothing that I didn’t like!

We were there in the last October week and liked many things about the Coral hotel. A few specials: Apples in a large basket in the lobby. Double doors in the room for extra noise protection. Swimming in the calm and clear sea across the road at 27 degrees while air temperature was 24. Spacious breakfast room on 7th floor with sea views. 5* continental breakfast. Impeccable services throughout the hotel. Airport bus X96 stops next to hotel and journey takes about one hour. We didn’t need a taxi and used public transport to go everywhere- bus B2 and tram T6. Bank, pharmacy, good restaurants and super market are all next door. Private beach in front of hotel offers free towels, sun beds, water bottles and umbrellas. Plenty of good quality toiletries in the bath room. We will certainly return!

All of the members of staff are welcoming, super friendly & helpful. Reception & Concierge cannot be anymore helpful & they are faultless. When my mother required medical treatment, the staff contacted the local hospital for us & arranged for a cab to take us to the hospital too, they were absolutely brilliant. The members of staff at breakfast ensure that they’re on hand for any assistance required & that the plentiful & varied breakfast choices are kept topped up. The waiters at lunch & dinner are equally attentive. The food is absolutely delicious, well priced & competitive for the area. I stayed at the hotel with my mum for ten days, the food was so delicious, we ate lunch and dinner every day at the hotel.

Our stay was faultless. I would highly recommend this hotel & wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

We had such a nice stay at the Coral Hotel! The staff was great and we felt welcomed in the hotel. We had a wonderful sea-view room with great interior design as well as the rest of the hotel. The rooms are cozy, very clean, and warm for December which was important for us. The breakfast was delicious, fresh, and very well prepared with many options. We will come back for sure! Keep doing the great work!

Now if I have to say something, the bathroom was a bit on a smaller side, but very functional and clean and I would not hold it as a negative. Also in the other reviews I was reading that the rooms were noisy because it was next to the highway, but with the closed double door we didn't have any issues and we slept like babies.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff and facilities made our 7-day stay a dream come true. The hotel is located close to the seashore, it is true that there is a busy road in front of it, but we were not affected by the noise. In the vicinity of the hotel there is a bus and tram station, and many restaurants, supermarkets and shops. The staff goes above and beyond to fulfill any request with a smile on their face. We received an exceptional welcome cocktail on the hotel's gorgeous rooftop terrace, free sweets and water in the room, housekeeping is done daily and care products are replaced, the cleanliness is impeccable. We had free access whenever we wanted to the hotel's private beach, to the small pool with bubbles on the terrace and to the private jacuzzi on the ground floor. At the private beach across the street, you get a deckchair, towels and water for free. The breakfast is extremely tasty, varied. I cannot express the thanks I bring to the hotel for the way they treated us, and for the kindness of the manager to talk with us and give us a small gift on departure.

I have nothing to complain about.

I liked everything about the hotel. We were at the 6th floor. It was clean, smells good, welcoming & friendly staff/concierge. They have a free shuttle from the hotel to Zen Beach or to Athens - just take a photo of their timetable. We also got a good small view of the sea. I came to Greece to celebrate my birthday and graduation & got a complimentary cake & wine. Overall, highly recommend going to this hotel! I don't understand why there were bad reviews.

I wish they could have given a small card for times that the bar and rooftop is open, but honestly didn't really miss anything since we wanted to try places outside of the hotel. Also, maybe providing pool towels right off the bat especially if people aren't interested in going to Zen Beach.
