The staff is wonderful - everyone we encountered was helpful, service-oriented, and very kind. Our room was also very comfortable and the location was very close to everything we needed and wanted to see within walking distance. A major plus in the room was excellent soundproofing as we could not hear anything despite being just around the corner from a very lively area! The room amenities were highly appreciated.

The bathroom could use a bit of extra cleaning, particularly the wall tiles and around the shower doors. It wasn’t too bad though.

We reached the hotel after a lot of hours of delays at the airport and the receptionist was so kind that he offered us a free upgrade of our room! The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a wide variety of items that could leave even the most demanding guest satisfied. The rooms were spotless clean. The hotel is situated in an excellent neighborhood full of taverns and bars and it also very close to the Monastiraki Metro station offering a direct route to the Athens Airport. All in all we will definitely be visiting Gaia Athens again!

Friendly staff, excellent breakfast, convenient location, very clean room, complimentary bottle of wine, spacious. We stayed here with my elderly mother-- the steps were two steep/twisty for her, but she was able to take the small elevator up with one of us. Our room was perfect because she was able to have a separate bedroom. Also, the hotel staff arranged an airport taxi for us, and our driver was excellent! At no additional charge, he tour a detour to show us the changing of the guards before we left, and told us about his olive farm and making olive oil. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Athens.

Nothing really... It would have been nice to have a little more shelf space in the bathroom for toiletries but that is minor.

I feel as if I had a home in Athens now after I stayed at this hotel. The location was walking distance from the Metro and the Acropolis. The owner showed me a good way to Acropolis and the Metro station to take Metro to Airport. He even walked with me to show it so that I would not get lost. Very good breakfast and wonderful friendly staff, everyone! I enjoyed the conversation with them very much. I was debating between this hotel and a nice larger hotel. I chose this hotel as I wanted to have interaction with local Athens people. I made the right choice! They provided a very nice breakfast bag as I had to leave early, even if I did not ask about it. As other comments say, I am "really" glad that I chose this hotel. I even feel like calling to see how they are. This is not just a hotel, but offering a home coming back. Thank you very much for such a nice hospitality and memory of Athens and Greece!

This little hotel was a great choice for out trip to Athens. We stayed 4 nights, we found everything in order, the room was spacious with every essentials we could need. We chose the no view room, which indeed has no view (there is a brick wall 10 cm from the window), but we didn’t mind at all. The breakfast was exceptional, wide choice for every taste 🙂 The staff was very kind! We could self-check-in at night when we arrived. The location is perfect, we had to use the metro only to get to the airport, otherwise it was walking distance from every sight! Our room was made up every day, cleaned. We also got a free bottle of wine :)

The only thing I can think about is the no view, but we knew that from the beginning, so everything was perfect for us :)

The staff at this little hotel were wonderful. We stayed at the start of our island hopping trip and again at the end. When next in Athens we will definitely stay there again. The location is on a quiet street but just around the corner from a wonderful warren of narrow streets with great cafés, bars and restaurants. It's a really safe neighbourhood. It is within walking distance of all the main historical attractions. Also, the breakfast was superb.

We had rooms at the back of the hotel and the window opened out onto a very narrow space with no light or view. Some people may not like this so ask for a room facing the street. However, the room was very quiet, so I would chose it again.

The staff were AMAZING!!! Everything we needed was provided almost immediately; everyone was nice and very helpful (especially when we checked out, the receptionist informed us about a strike and the nearby metro station being closed. She kindly provided us with information on how to get to the airport. Thank you!!!). We met Sam, and she's just a wonderful human being. Her recommendations for places to see, eat, and drink were spot on! The location is great—Psyri neighborhood, close to Ermou Street, with plenty of places to eat and drink just around the corner. It's also located a 7-8 minute walk from Monastiraki Metro Station. The room was nicely decorated, and there was a complimentary bottle of wine (perhaps because we were celebrating my birthday). Additionally, all the necessities were provided, along with an extra blanket, slippers, and a personal dental kit. Also, the breakfast was nice. It wasn't very big, but there were options to choose from.

We absolutely loved the property which was in a fantastic location (take it from an Athenian). The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We were offered all the essentials including towels, toothbrush, slippers, coffee and even a complimentary wine. The staff were polite and we absolutely loved the blond lady from the breakfast team who made us delicious sandwiches for our take-away-breakfast. I am already thinking of going back next year if they keep their prices stable.

The shower pole looked fragile which caused us a bit of anxiety. It needs attention. You could hear everything from the nearby rooms and the corridor. However, the price of the room was too good to complain about this.

This was my second time I am staying in this lovely hotel. It is a small and very nice hotel run by a family, very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The breakfast is good and served with love. The staff is very friendly and available along the day. The location is perfect, 5 minutes walk from Monastiraki Square.

Everything was perfect, except one small issue - the bedding wasn’t perfectly clean when we checked in. However we told the staff and they took care immediately.
