Nin&Bau is a small boutique hotel located in the city center. It was a short walking distance to all the touristy areas, which was very convenient. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The living area of the room was comfortable with a nice sofa. The bed was firm and comfortable.

The hue of the green and black of the interior of the hotel was a bit dark. It made me feel closed in. I just wish it was a bit brighter to be more welcoming. The room said it had a view, but I didn't expect the view to be the run down building across the street. It wasn't worth the extra money.

Its location is fantastic; while it’s right in the city center, it sits on a side street off the main road, ensuring peace and quiet if you don’t want to be disturbed by the sounds of nightlife. The staff was extremely hospitable, helpful, and professional. They assisted us in every way and were very kind. Even though we had to leave early in the morning on our last day, they prepared sandwich boxes for breakfast and left them in our fridge the night before. We would also like to extend our thanks to Zampano, the place they partnered with, for making our breakfast experience delightful, as well as to its staff.

There is a high concentration of immigrants in the street where it is located, which can occasionally cause some unease.

Nin & Bau is a comfortable little “boutique” style hotel at the northern end of the Psyrri neighborhood, known for its transitional character of hip food and drink outposts next to heavily graffitied buildings and derelict lots. It’s actually easily accessible with little to fear but may leave some guests who are unfamiliar with Athens gentrification feeling uncertain. The small suites are well planned and comfortable and come with small kitchenette facilities. High marks from this tea drinker as there is a waiting selection next to the ubiquitous espresso machine and an independent water kettle so that the hot water needn’t be coffee tainted!

We loved the room and facilities were excellent. Kitchen area was added bonus with fridge, coffee machine and kettle. Room cleaned every day which was such a treat. Clean fluffy towels and shower was hot and strong. Location was perfect for us just off all the tavernas and close to Monastraki metro. The Psirri area has great vibes and plenty bars and good food to suit all budgets. Thank you to all for a wee wonderful stay, just what we needed. Breakfast at Zampano was delightful. The roof top space was also great as the weather was sunny.

Staff were lovely, our flight was delayed and received an email on how to enter the property. Lift in the building we stayed on the second floor in room 12, sofa and space to move around, bathroom and kitchenette and main bedroom. Great coffee machine which was restocked everyday fridge and room cleaned and fresh towels everyday Really good location to walk into the centre. Modern decor and light and airy apartment Staff are really helpful and issues sorted out straight away

A make shift rail for a wardrobe only had a few hangers and a draw Only one mirror in the living room Tv was in the bedroom but not in the living room No dressing table so had to sit on the floor Not much of a view from the window looked out onto building work which isn’t the hotels fault We had to request our room to be cleaned due to ants however I messaged George and he sorted it out straight away. We returned to no further issues however this did put me on edge and had to keep checking the bed just incase

A very central place, in the middle of the living downtown. With its dark-ish coloring, looks a bit serious at first, but the staff makes that up: everyone is super nice and helpful. We spent very little time in the hotel: the city had a lot to offer. The roof terrace is really great for a nice brunch, large space with nice furniture and shades. The rooms are good for sleeping, we did not need much.

Only limited place to keep or store clothes.

Just got home from a lovely trip to Athens for a week. I can not recommend this property highly enough. The staff went above and beyond for us. We got to the property late and the access was so easy and stress free. The location is just a short walk from the metro station and the square and there is plenty to do and explore. The next morning I asked about breakfast and I was informed that somehow I had not booked breakfast for the week but the manager was so helpful in getting to the bottom of it and then offered us a free breakfast complimentary witch was so lovely. The manager also offered us lots of different restaurants to try at a 10% discount because we was staying at this property witch is a lovely gesture and I also love how they are working together as a community like that. I some how blew the electrics in the apartment with my adapter plug at a silly hour of the night/morning and the manager was up and at the apartment in no time to sort it. He even lent us another adapter for the week and had an electrician in the very next day to make sure all was safe. Any questions or query’s I had was answered almost immediately and was very useful. The room was very clean and well equipped for us with daily cleaning. Even the washing up was done as we had an apartment unit. We had a late flight home and the manager was even nice enough to let us have a late check out (there was not another booking going in that day) Over all we couldn’t have stayed at a better hotel for our first trip to Athens and it is safe to say we will be back.

The only things I would suggest is putting a tv in the living room because it kind of limits you to the bedroom when you are there. (We stayed in room 8) Also maybe a hot plate or a toaster and some standard cooking utensils ie, sauce pan/ frying pan and a colander etc so if you want you can make some pasta or something quick and easy if you don’t want to go out to eat for a day or two. And a sponge and some soap liquid. That is only a suggestion though.

They got us an upgrade for the night we booked, the room was gorgeous, the bed was beyond comfortable and the most important, compared to other accommodations we stayed in, it was very much soundproof. The staff responded to my request instantly and received us in a very friendly and professional manner.

Everything exceeded expectations. As we were leaving early in the morning, the staff prepared our breakfast in takeaway boxes. The reception girls were very sweet, especially Anna.

The Wi-Fi occasionally went out, but we used mobile internet, so it didn’t cause much inconvenience.

The location was perfect- situated in Psyri, surrounded by great restaurants and pubs and taverns. Just a few minutes walk away from Monastiraki, Plaka, main shopping district, metro. Service at the reception- special thanks to Fay who was so kind and helpful! The breakfast is in a superb restaurant just a min away from the hotel. The bed was super comfortable. Nespesso coffee machine in the room is a bonus. You can barely hear the noise from the street.
