The room was nice, well equipped, comfortable and pleasant. There was a tasteful coffee and tee. Apartment has a good lightening variability, nice bathroom.

Place is very well situated near the city centre. However this particular street is like a nightmare. Further you go, better you feel. During our stay there was a guy, who used the entrance to the building as a place to get high. We wanted to go inside and he was melting crack on the spoon while lying on the ground. Just a few meters behind him there was another guy, who was checking his veins. I highly recommend drop yourself in Google street view and decide if you are strong enough or not.

Location was fabulous, it felt super safe and clean, lots of space and stylishly decorated. Very easy check in and out.

As you can’t flush loo roll down the toilet which is usual in Greece, it would have been nice to have daily housekeeping even if just to empty the bins. And the sink was small with a shelf directly above which made it hard to use.

Filia Place is a hidden gem in the heart of Athens! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk from Monastiraki, the Acropolis, and vibrant local markets. The apartment was spotless, modern, and well-equipped with everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. The self-check-in process was seamless, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. Despite being in the city center, the place was peaceful, allowing for a great night’s sleep. We stayed at Filia Place during a summer heat wave, and the air conditioning was absolutely fantastic—a real lifesaver! The location is excellent, just a 5-minute or so walk to Monastiraki metro station, which offers a direct and affordable route to the airport. This was far more convenient than taking the public bus, which drops off at Syntagma Square and requires a bit of a walk with luggage. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. We were on the 2nd floor, and appreciated the lift access, especially with bags. The building also has a secure entrance, which added peace of mind. Check-in and out was seamless. From Monastiraki Square, just a few minutes away, you get a stunning straight-line view of the Acropolis—breathtaking at different times of the day. While some travelers may prefer staying somewhere with a view from their room, we found it magical to be a bit removed, enjoying the walk through vibrant streets and discovering the view as part of the neighborhood experience. Little Kook and other neighborhoods all within walking distance... we aren't spring chickens ;) Right down the street from the apartment is a welcoming outdoor square with live music and great dining, perfect for a relaxed evening. The apartment is in the Psiri neighborhood, with Monastiraki and its historic charm just up the street. We spent most of our time exploring on foot and couldn’t have asked for a better base. Highly recommended!

Conversation startes on Booking and they had a WhatsApp chat you could use if anything was needed. Any request was answered in a very timely manner. The hosts were very polite and accomodating. The room was big enough, very accurate to the picture. The bed was comfortable, AC worked and the bathroom was clean. Also they offer a great website for booking a taxi. I would definitely stay there again! Also in the same building there was a newly opened massage place. it has nothing to do with the hotel however that was also a big plus and very convenient. They also offer bookings online on their webpage and the service was great. I can only recommend going there after a long flight or a long day running around the city. Many options from breakfast/brunch to dinner/drinks are close by and easy to access yet you are far enough away to not be bothered by loud noise. Great location if you want to experience Athens!

In our shower the water didn´t disappear all the way after showering. A small puddle stayed on the opposite side of the drain. We only realized that on the 2nd day when we got back. So the appartment smelled slightly like the shower. However, there was a little broom thing for the shower to remove it already in the bathroom. we only weren´t aware that we had to use it. So we used that after each shower and we had no more issues.

The room was large, modern, had hot water in the 2 showers. Elevator. Room to store luggage. We weren't sure about the location being safe, but it driver said as long as we turn right out of the building and not left ... we'd be ok. Once we got our and walked a bit we could see the location was safe with lots of tourists, restaurants and shops ... just not what we're used to!

The check in process was not a good experience. There was much miscommunication between WhatsApp's and email and booking.com. Our driver from the airport called the phone number provided in order to get us to the right location and he helped us with the key code to get in. And though we were early and kept our baggage in storage, we couldn't check in until well after the check in time, even though having seen it with our eyes (the cleaning people leaving) we couldn't check in early as requested and in fact the room was ready late.

A wonderful place to stay in Athens. The apartment is located almost in the very center – the historic part of the city, with the Acropolis and the Temple of Hephaestus within walking distance. Despite being in the city center with many cafés nearby, it was very quiet – which is perfect after a long day of sightseeing. All information about location and check-in was provided via WhatsApp. Special thanks to the hosts for helping with luggage before check-in (arrival was at 8 a.m. while check-in was at 2 p.m.) and for allowing an earlier check-in by half an hour. The code key was sent online, and all questions about arrival and departure were answered very quickly. The apartment had two bathrooms, all necessary amenities, and a fully equipped kitchen with dishes, a kettle, and a coffee maker. Coffee and filters were also provided – much appreciated! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable place to rest and then head out to explore the city again.

The property is located perfectly, right beside lots of lovely restaurants and small local shops. It is also a short walk from many of the sites including the Acropolis. The apartment was spacious and well furnished providing a kettle, toastie maker, coffee machine, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. It was also very clean. The staff were very friendly and provided codes to access the apartment via WhatsApp, this meant check-in was easy and quick. Although the location of the property felt safe, the apartment felt very secure providing good peace of mind. The property also made arrangements for a private transfer from the airport making our stay much easier.

Fantastic location. We were able to walk everywhere. There’s also a lively area of restaurants about a minute’s walk away (but not so near to be noisy when you’re in your room). Well designed space. Great to have a kitchenette and lounge area. Comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, everything you need to prepare food at the hotel.

As the room isn’t serviced it might be nice to be provided with a change of bin bags and instructions of where to take them. We stayed for five nights and it was just about ok but both the bathroom and kitchen bin were full so any longer and it might have been a problem.
