Small structure in the heart of Psiri area. The personel was extremely friendly and polite, which is always really appreciated. The room was big and had a balcony with a view on Lycabettus. Small rooftop (no bar/restaurant) available for customers.
The elevator is arriving direclty in the room, which is not an issue, but early in the morning it causes a lot of noise. In addition, there is the light of the elevator that you cannot turn off. The fact that it was not bar/restaurant in the hotel, but we were informed. The room could have been cleaned better. The fact that we had to leave.....

Location is excellent. Close to Monasteraki metro station which made getting to and from the airport easy. Walking distance to all the main attractions and areas of interest. Breakfast in the cafe nearby was really good. Nice little roof terrace for watching the sunset!
Roof terrace has a lot of potential but it a little bit jaded looking. It looks better in the pictures as it seems like it used to connect to the roof terrace of the hotel next door but now there is a locked gate between. However still really nice to sit and watch a sunset. Noisy at night as it is in a busy area but to be expected with such a central location and worth it. Shower leaked but overall the room was lovely.

Das Hotel liegt super und die Leute an der Rezeption waren echt nett.
Check in or out at the time that the Reception is closed, means using the stairs. Which was for us really difficult with stroller and bags The elevator was inside the room and close to the bed, which was noisy especially in the morning and the light was shining permanently The water was cold on one day and nobody informed us about it The location is amazing but quite noisy. Better noise cancelling windows should be installed. There was no chair in the room. Just a not removable sofa and the beds. The breakfast in the partner cafe was tasty but with limited options

Lots of space, clean room, nice views, easy access with codes, nice staff, great value for money for a long weekend away. Our room had a record player and lots of candles which was fun, plus a fridge and basic dining facilities/coffee which was handy.
The Wifi didn't work properly so we couldn't watch Netflix, etc., in the evenings. It seemed to be worse at peak times. There's a LOT of noise, some of which is just the neighborhood, but also the elevator opened up into the room (also has its benefits!) meaning there was a lot of noise when other people used the elevator because it's very close to the sleeping space. The windows/doors could probably have better noise sealing from the neighborhood.

From the moment we checked in, we loved everything about this hotel. The lobby is clean and modern, and the staff are all very friendly. We arrived before our room was ready, but the staff happily held our bags for us while we explored the city until the room was ready. After getting the room, we were stunned by how beautiful it was. It was a large room, with a balcony overlooking the city. There was also a small refrigerator, a lounging area, and a record player. The bed was very comfortable. The rooftop is stunning, with the views of the city and even the Parthenon! We spent a couple of evenings up there, listening to live music from the square below and watching the sun set behind the mountains. When we were there in April, we never encountered another guest on the rooftop, so it was like our own private space. If you stay on the 6th floor, you practically have a private elevator, as it opens directly into the room. Don't worry though, it only opens to the room with a private code. The front desk agent, Martha, was very helpful throughout our stay. She made recommendations for lunch and dinner, and different attractions around town. I highly recommend you stay here during your time in Athens. It's like a private luxury suite in the middle of the city.

We stayed for two nights in a suite with a balcony on the third floor. We were met on arrival by a couple of cheerful, friendly and helpful hosts who got us sorted in our room and later were to provide great restaurant and bar suggestions. Melo is about as central in Athens as you can get. Everything is within walking distance and its location 100 meters up from Monastiraki Square makes it almost impossible to get lost. Psirri offers many cool bars, shops and sights within 5 minutes of Melo. The room was much bigger than we expected, we had plenty of room to spread out. The king sized bed was great, there was a facility to make a coffee, a fridge and a large bathroom with walk in shower. We did not hear any noise from the street. A special treat is access to a rooftop balcony with sunset views to the Acropolis and across town. We had the rooftop to ourselves on both nights for a pre-diner drink before heading out. We ate at Dopios and had a memorable diner on the last night at Oinoscent, both were exceptional.

This is a very small hotel in a great, central location in Monastiraki, a neighborhood of Athens with lots of restaurants, bars and music. Even with all this, it was very quiet in our room. Checking in was a breeze, and the best part is that we received many great recommendations from Katerina, the wonderful person at the front desk! She knows Athens well, and it showed. Breakfast was at a cafe across the street and was excellent, with many good choices.
There is not someone at the front 24/7. They lock the door at night, and you use a code to get in, and then you must walk up one flight of stairs to get to the elevator. Not a big deal for us, but you should be aware of it

Breakfast was actually provided in a small café across the street. I feel like the hotel was very unique and in its own category of classy, more contemporary than it is Greek . The location was great. It’s very easy to get a taxi from this location so a car is not really needed if you only have a few days in Athens and you want to explore the city this is perfect. The staff was exceptional and they live up to their reputation of super fun!
I did not have a problem but I do not think my room is suitable for people who are handicapped. I loved the roof access and view but there is no direct elevator to the roof one must maneuver stairs.

Excellent location right in the heart of the Psyri and walking distance to all the major city center activities, shops, markets, museums, ruins, and attractions. Great Terrace and plenty of space in the room. Lots of cool little details (like a vinyl record player with Beatles albums on hand) - staff was awesome and accommodating.
Was loud late into the evening/night, but given the neighborhood, was not too surprised.

The accommodation is very centrally located and easy to reach. It is located in a very lively neighbourhood with many bars, cafes and restaurants. The room was very stylishly furnished, clean and had everything we needed. A particular highlight is of course the whirlpool in the room.
The hotel is located in a very lively neighbourhood where there is also a lot going on at night. The room had several windows of which only one could be opened. Unfortunately, this window is therefore not noise-insulated and even when closed there is still a lot of noise coming in from outside. This is difficult for noise-sensitive sleepers.
