This is a very clean, comfortable and spacious studio apartment. Large bathroom. Lots of hot water. Kitchenette with everything you need. I ate out but was glad to keep a few provisions in the fridge. But hob, microwave, toaster etc available. Lift good for my old bones. Terrace at top with beautiful view of the Acropolis. Staff kept in touch on WhatsApp all the time checking I was ok. Anna Maria around in the mornings and warm and friendly. I wasn’t expecting such an exceptional stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

You are in the centre of Athens which is open to holidaymakers 24 hours a day so inevitably there is the noise of people enjoying themselves. Take earplugs and get on with it. It’s an excellent location.

Great communication, well-organised procedures, eminently central location, clean and bright room with well-functioning facilities and no defects or obvious wear and tear. The roof-top terrace is perfect: it provides spectacular views of the Acropolis on one side, especially dramatic at night when it is illuminated, and a panoramic view of all of Athens stretching out towards the four points of the compass all around. I recommend combining it with a moderate amount of retsina ;) This was probably our best experience ever with a booking, and we are grateful to Hermes and his colleagues for the top-notch service and friendly, polite manners.

Communication with host, George, was excellent, the check-in instructions were clear and the process was smooth. The room was very clean, had a well equipped kitchenette and the bedding was very comfortable. The location was superb; just 100m from Monastiraki Metro station and the square, with bars, restaurants and supermarkets all at hand nearby. We loved it at Athens Stories and would highly recommend this place.

Could not fault anything

The location is exceptional, right in the heart of Athens, making it incredibly convenient to explore all the historical sites and lively neighborhoods within a 10-15 minute walk. Beautiful, super clean, modern, stylish apartments near Monasteraki Square... and super comfy beds. ...and the view of the Acropolis from the roof terrace is incredible. Our host George made my experience even more enjoyable. They were incredibly helpful and always quick to respond to questions or requests. Of particular note is the generosity with which they allowed us to store our luggage after check-out. Overall, this stay in Athens was a fantastic experience... I can only recommend Athens Stories. We really enjoyed our time at ATHENS STORIES. Here are some things we greatly enjoyed: 1. The spacious room and the big bed. 2. The facilities in the room, including a fully equipped kitchen, a microwave, a Nespresso machine, a small fridge and even an iron and hair dryer. 3. The balcony with the great view over the two crossing streets. You could really feel the vibe of the Athenian city centre just by relaxing on the balcony. 4. The roof top with the amazing Akropolis View! It felt like we had our own roof top, since there were not that many people there. We brought and had our dinner there the last two nights and it felt so nice. There are outdoor furniture that could accommodate 3 groups of 3-4 people. 5. It felt very safe with the safety door of our apartment and the safety regulations for the door downstairs, even though we were literally in the center of Athens. 6. The Monastiraki Metro station is really a few meters far and very convenient as it connects directly to the Airport or Piraeus Port, depending on the metro line you take.

1. We didn't mind because we wanted the vibe of the city centre but the streets can be very noisy, especially during the weekends, so keep in mind if you want a restful vacation. This is the perfect place to explore Athens city centre but not to get the highest amount of sleep, not during the night at least. 2. Some places on the walls were dirty, but the premises were overall great.

Great apartment! Super clean, and the Nespresso was a huge plus. Shower had GREAT water pressure, and the water was hot and stayed hot. Literally had everything we needed, and was a great starting point for all the things we had planned in Athens. The host George was also very wonderful, he was always readily and quickly available through WhatsApp.

As others said, it does get loud at night. But that didn’t bother us, and honestly should be expected in the heart of a bustling tourist area.

The aircon was on when we arrived. The owner's communication on WhatsApp was exceptional. The room itself seemed very clean. Complementary Nespresso was good. Absolutely wonderful view from the terrace. Bed was very comfy which is a problem that we tend to have with a lot of hotels. Excellent shampoo and shower gel from Korres, could have done with some conditioner though. Absolutely fantastic location which really made the trip.

Broken chair on the balcony. Toilet seat was wonky. The lift had a few problems as this Greek elevator needed the external door to close properly for the lift to engage. On the 6th floor there was a problem with the mechanism that automatically closed that external door, so we were forced to take the stairs on some occasions.

We found the property to be excellent. We actually never met anyone. The day before we received the code to the front entrance and the code of the lockbox with the keys. We did not experience any problem at all accessing the property. We loved the location. Really the property is located in Monastiraki Square. The entrance to the Monastiraki Metro is literally a stone's throw. We walked to Acropolis, the other related sites and Plaka. All were a short walk away. Miouli is a bustling street with an enormous array of eating places around, not to mention the ones at Monastiraki. The rooftop is fantastic and can accommodate at least three groups. It is a great experience to sit up there with food/drinks and watch the sun go down the lights come on at the Parthenon. You also get a wonderful sunset in the other direction. The apartments are spacious and comfortable. We had a two-bedroom place. The entry hallway is small but has a kitchen with microwave and largish fridge/freezer. The bedrooms are large, each with a large double bed and a round table. One of the rooms had a balcony overlooking Miaouli. Each room has an en suite bathroom which is quite large. Besides all the eating places, there is a min market virtually next door and a pharmacy across the street. Masoutis supermarket is very close for supplies one might need.

This has nothing to do with the property. We loved it and will happily go back. However, in case this is an issue, the area is bustling and full of people late into the night. So, if you are looking for quiet then this may not suit you. But with the French balcony windows close, this did not bother us. In any event, we loved looking out at the people walking about with strains of music coming from various places. It was very exciting.

Location, clean room/good accommodations We were able to check in earlier than expected and that was great! Overall, our stay was great! Only a few things that could be improved.

Water—-I followed the directions sent to me for a hot shower but the water was still cold. Maybe I didn’t follow directions carefully? We were able to check in early; however, we were told we can leave our luggage’s at 11 (we got there at 1pm) and we had a hard time getting inside someone let us in eventually and she was helpful and called the manager and we sorted it out. I didn’t get the information on how to get in until I spoke to the lady. She didn’t know anything until she called manager. Maybe someone needs to be there to help out and be told someone was coming in to leave luggage at a certain time (although again we were late because of transportation problems). Thank you!

We Just visited Athens 3 days ago and stayed in Athens stories. I highly recommend Athens Stories suites for the professionalism of the owner, the closest location to all historical sites and Monastiraki famous square. The apartment was very 100% clean💖💖💖 same as shown on the booking pictures, with all kitchen , bathroom and room facilities. It is located very near to many shops, restaurants and main attractions. The rooftop experience was wonderful in the evening. We could have the great view of the city and the acropolis. The owner is available online to respond to your needs 24h/7 and the process to access the apartment is very easier and secure. We really enjoy the stay and will definetely book again if we visit Athens. Thank you George for your great support!!!
