Friendly, welcoming service right from the start from George. The highlight of the whole stay was the surprise fruit and wine left in our room for my mum's birthday! It all tasted so fresh and juicy (especially the peach!) It was lovely to see the surprise and joy on my mum's face. The room was comfy and clean too. The hotel was very easy to get to from the main ferry port just across the road. The AC was great and the storage space was more than enough!

Hard mattress which took a bit of getting used to. A small point is that the stairs could be an issue for anyone with bad knees as the hotel entrance looks like it's on the ground floor but is upstairs so it's something to consider. It's possible to do less walking (e.g. there are two ways to enter), or if you are renting a vehicle it's not an issue at all. Also, there's no one at reception which was ok for us as we didn't have many questions, but if we did we would have to look around and ask at the bar downstairs.

I recently stayed here and had a wonderful experience. The location is incredibly convenient, just a stone's throw away from a supermarket and the Main Street, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Even after I checked out, they graciously allowed me to take a shower after my diving trip, which was greatly appreciated. The room was immaculate and equipped with great facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and accommodating place to stay!

We had a lovely room at the front of the Hotel with a sea view. The room was traditional and beautifully decorated and presented, with rustic wooden shutters. It had all modern facilities that we needed. The Hotel Manager was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived, providing information and a map of Poros. He also stored our luggage the following day, as we had a late ferry, and offered us shower and toilet facilities if we needed it when picking up our luggage. Thank you Sir.

Breakfast was not available at the time we stayed, but there were several excellent restaurants nearby that provided an excellent range of healthy local Greek breakfasts.

The 4 poster bedroom was fabulous, loved the balcony with table & chairs & French windows plus 2 big sized windows. Gave the room lots of light, plus lovely high ceilings. Great features with the stone walls & stone arches,great wardrobe space & a great big fridge.We had a 3rd single bed too, but used for clothes. The two chairs were great to sit at with the French windows open. The best bit was the location looking right out onto the harbour, a fantastic view stretching right across the bay up to the mountains, & lovely to sit & watch the world go by!.....walking distance to the town & hotel not noisy at night. Bathroom was a great size too.

The shower curtain, much prefer a glass screen. Didnt have breakfast included, but we did pay extra for it one day, but not much on offer.

If you are looking for a well located hotel with no frills in Poros, then Dionysos Hotel would be a perfect choice. No more than 5 minutes walk from the hydrofoil and opposite the ferry to Galatas. It is well located in Poros town with a supermarket a few doors down. We had a superior room and loved the views from the balcony. Really lovely friendly staff and the breakfast was perfectly fine - nothing fancy, but everything you would want. There are just so many lovely restaurants and bars a short walk away.

We did find the room noisy - there are mopeds going past day and night on the road in front. However if you are staying in Poros town in the heart of a vibrant centre, then some sacrifices need to made. The bathroom was perfectly fine and clean, but is probably due an upgrade.

The location is absolutely fabulous - right in the heart of everything - a walk to shops, fab restaurants, tavernas and bars plus coffee shops. and a walk to the beach - if you do not feel like doing or going anywhere far. The hotel owner and staff are fabulous, professional and cannot do enough for you. I will definitely return and will recommend the hotel to family and friends.

The hotel is in a great location on the sea front in the centre of town. The room was very spacious - we booked the balcony with sea view room - and attractively decorated with a fridge, kettle and hairdryer. I would stay there again.

The shower was hard to operate as the tap was very stiff, and the lack of a shower screen meant the floor got very wet.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly polite, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself was spotless, well-maintained, and offered a stunning view of the sea. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

The hotel is well positioned on the edge of town and a short walk to the beach. The room was clean and spacious. All of the staff were kind and helpful. The bar on the ground floor was a joy to visit after a day out. The hotel is open all year.

There was not anything to dislike about this hotel.

We had a room with sea view so we could enjoy the sunset from our bed. The bed was really comfortable. There also was a fridge in the room. The room was clean. The location is just super (just a walk away from the tavernas, city center, super market where you can buy water and the Kanal beach). The personal was very helpful and kind. After check out we could use the showers. I definitely recommend this hotel. See you next time!
