We had a lovely room at the front of the Hotel with a sea view. The room was traditional and beautifully decorated and presented, with rustic wooden shutters. It had all modern facilities that we needed. The Hotel Manager was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived, providing information and a map of Poros. He also stored our luggage the following day, as we had a late ferry, and offered us shower and toilet facilities if we needed it when picking up our luggage. Thank you Sir.

Breakfast was not available at the time we stayed, but there were several excellent restaurants nearby that provided an excellent range of healthy local Greek breakfasts.

The 4 poster bedroom was fabulous, loved the balcony with table & chairs & French windows plus 2 big sized windows. Gave the room lots of light, plus lovely high ceilings. Great features with the stone walls & stone arches,great wardrobe space & a great big fridge.We had a 3rd single bed too, but used for clothes. The two chairs were great to sit at with the French windows open. The best bit was the location looking right out onto the harbour, a fantastic view stretching right across the bay up to the mountains, & lovely to sit & watch the world go by!.....walking distance to the town & hotel not noisy at night. Bathroom was a great size too.

The shower curtain, much prefer a glass screen. Didnt have breakfast included, but we did pay extra for it one day, but not much on offer.

If you are looking for a well located hotel with no frills in Poros, then Dionysos Hotel would be a perfect choice. No more than 5 minutes walk from the hydrofoil and opposite the ferry to Galatas. It is well located in Poros town with a supermarket a few doors down. We had a superior room and loved the views from the balcony. Really lovely friendly staff and the breakfast was perfectly fine - nothing fancy, but everything you would want. There are just so many lovely restaurants and bars a short walk away.

We did find the room noisy - there are mopeds going past day and night on the road in front. However if you are staying in Poros town in the heart of a vibrant centre, then some sacrifices need to made. The bathroom was perfectly fine and clean, but is probably due an upgrade.

We had a room with sea view so we could enjoy the sunset from our bed. The bed was really comfortable. There also was a fridge in the room. The room was clean. The location is just super (just a walk away from the tavernas, city center, super market where you can buy water and the Kanal beach). The personal was very helpful and kind. After check out we could use the showers. I definitely recommend this hotel. See you next time!

We've stayed before and returned because we loved it so much. The location is perfect, the staff are absolutely amazing and our room was perfect. Would like to thank Alex the concierge for always having a smile for us and being so ready to help and a big thank you to Vicki for again, always smiling and just being a lovely person who does an amazing job. Hope to see you again June next year :😀

Nothing we didn't like

We really liked it here, the positioning was absolutely great, very close to the city center. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was plentiful with decent variation. Also we really liked the ambiance of the rooms with the imperfect stone walls, it added a very nice "antique" touch.

Maybe the curtains would be great if they were a little bit wider. We had our windows exactly on one of the alleys. Besides that, nothing to add, everything was exceeding our expectations.

It was walking distance from the port, our room had lovely water views. It was a big room with a very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the included Breakfast which was fresh juice, a huge cup of filtered coffee, and toast. We walked to the beach and loved sitting in front of the hotel watching the locals of Poros. This island is laid back and very relaxing. Our host George was really friendly and helpful.

Very accessible to the ferry terminal. Selection of Taverna nearby excellent and all reasonably priced unlike some of the islands. Free bus will take you around the peninsula so if you have any walking difficulties, it’s ideal. Very authentic Greek island working island, absolutely brilliant.

Breakfast location should have been on the terrace, but not a big issue

We liked the old fashioned decor of the room, which matched the atmosphere of the island. The location is very convenient (right by the port) and very picturesque. The balcony had a nice view of the town. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything we asked for.

The bathroom was very small and because of the old pipes, the toilet is one in which toilet paper cannot be flushed.

I have stayed here many times. The hotel offers great value for money in a convenient location equidistant between town centre and Kanali beach. George and his team are easy to deal with and look after you during your stay.

Hotel bathrooms are a little dated but it compensates for that with value for money. Nothing negative to say otherwise.
