Great location, directly on a gorgeous beach with crystal clear water for swimming. The hotel is an easy 20 minute walk into beautiful Poros which was fine at any time of day or night. There are a few restaurants just nearby at the beach side. We had a warm welcome from the lovely lady on reception, she is a credit to the hotel. The room was large & spotlessly clean with a comfy firm bed. The breakfast is adequate if not outstanding.

A small thing but at breakfast the orange juice was awful, weak cordial. The lovely freshly squeezed orange juice is kept in the back & the weekend staff didn't bother to let us know. A very nice man who works during the week brought us some on our last morning.

Location is fantastic - small, sandy, private beach with sunbeds included. Hotel is fully complimenting 3 stars, you need to know it is not luxury, but great for family. We did not take there breakfast, but we ate lunch there few times and found it as good price and quality - local kitchen, large portions and very tasty. Also clean and good swimming pool. Room cleaning every day. All rooms has sea view and family rooms are with 2 bedrooms. And checkout at 12:00 :) Tip - there is no need for a car on the island. Nowhere to drive and hard with parking. For island exploration can take quad for rentals from 30 eur. You can leave car in Galatas.

While location is great, some 800m need to go along main road, no pedestrian there. Maybe would be good to have some basic kitchen elements.

The location was quiet with lovely marble finishing and friendly staff except for one barista. Was few euros to town by taxi for more shopping but many tavernas around the hotel and water sport company -cafe and supermarket within 10min walk. Had safe and fridge and good size room -403 with fantastic view of the sea from balcony, bed comfortable. Private beach with free sun beds and service -lunch and was good. Wine cheap by carafe

No kettle in room and annoying to buy a made coffee to take upstairs expensive. I advise the management rectifies that . Had only one English tv channel

Fabulous outlook . Can see why it’s called Golden View. Comfortable spacious room with great shower. Nice pool . Private beach . Not a great beach by standards of some islands but a great place to swim with lovely water. Very friendly staff. Easy walk to port but some nice eating places close by including the hotel restaurant which we found very good when we tried it twice for lunch

Gorgeous views from the balcony. Small private beach attached to property with beautiful clear water. Staff were friendly and helpful. Close to ATV rental (highly recommended for getting around the island). Decent buffet breakfast in the morning. Decent food at the onsite restaurant. Decent bar onsite but always empty.

Dated rooms including handheld shower! Insufficient AC in common areas. Old, uncomfortable beach beds (no charge to use though). Not a good walking route to town (recommend moped or ATV)

The hotel has a superb location overlooking Askeli Beach and has a private area with sunbeds and drinks and food service. The reception bar and dining areas are spacious, well laid out and, again, have a wonderful view over the bay. Every person in the team were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The shower in our bathroom did not have a high wall mount, so was essentially a handheld shower, and was not easy to use.

The view from Golden View is absolutely spectacular, as is the private beach. We went to a few other beaches while in Poros, and GV had the clearest water by far. The staff were all top-notch and very kind. We had a room overlooking the sea. I would ask for a sea view room in the 3rd or 4th floor. We've visited several islands with our daughter, and this was our favorite hotel pool as well. Great size, same spectacular view of the sea, full service from bar and restaurant. Regarding the restaurant, we were very impressed with the quality of food and the prices. Both were better than many places in the center of town. You could easily stay at Golden View for your entire stay and be completely satisfied! We will absolutely be back!

The pillows in our room were extremely firm, but the bed was very comfortable!

My two daughters stayed there for 4 nights, They told me the place i booked for them was perfect, They said the breakfast was great, And that the hotel crew helped them a lot and were very nice to them which it was extremely important for me! It would absolutely be our destination when the entire family willcome to poros

The hotel was right on the beach so could hear the sea from my room. It had a private beach with free sunbeds. The room had everything I needed. The hotel was only 5min abd €5 taxi ride from the port where everything was happening. It had a nice restaurant if you wanted to stay in.

Amazing lobby with a full sea view! Very clean and spacious room, so tasty breakfast, open restaurant with beautiful view. Nice pool, good beach, enough of sun beds, very good for kids. Staff was super nice, helpful and friendly

As a suggestion : to keep few small bottles of water in the room, at least once as a welcome in the hotel. To maintain beach area better, like arrange sun beds back to places, ashtrays etc.
