For the price we really weren’t expecting it to be anything special to be honest. It was the cheapest part of honeymoon but we were pleasantly surprised! We loved the pool and never over crowded, Infact just the odd other couple, therefore felt very relaxing. After island hopping this was very welcomed, we didn’t venture out much at all, just in the evenings to the port which was 8 euros in a taxi so very reasonable. The surrounding views were stunning!

I didn’t not like them, but the rooms and breakfast were basic, however reflective in the price paid.

The room was huge (45m2) with a fantastic view. It is a large apartment, rather than a hotel room. The pool was also big and clean with nice new sun beds. The nearby city is amazing. The hotel staff could not be more helpful.

You need your own transport or will have to get taxis to dinner (€8-€12 each way). The breakfast choice is quite limited. The pool bar is very expensive (€6 for a small bottle of local beer). The local beach is not usable (seaweed and plastic, it isn’t part of the hotel so isn’t maintained).

Pool and views were amazing and good sized apartment

The location is only suitable if you have transport. We walked up and down very steep hills to get to the local shop for supplies. It took nearly an hour there and back. The pool bar is very over priced. Nearly double that you pay anywhere else. This would probably stop me from returning to be honest.

The pool was our favourite feature it was huge and most of the time we had it to ourselves. The room was large with a kitchen and lounge area which was a nice treat. The balcony was also big with a lovely view of the sea. Breakfast was nice although not necessarily a massive variety of choice.

It was a beautiful place however it was in the middle of nowhere. However if you are willing to get a taxi/drive it is fine. The bar by the pool wasn’t open during the day which was a shame but this is most likely because we came during May.

Very clean and spacious room with a nice balcony seperate bathroom. Nice pool with towels available and a beautiful view from the room as well as the pool. Quiet and peaceful location. Make sure you have a car to drive to nice villages and restaurants in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunrise Beach Suites. I don’t even know where to start… The location is perfect, such a quiet area, with AMAZING views with the most beautiful sunrises from our veranda. You can see the lighthouse on the islet Didimi (btw this is the first lighthouse in the Aegean with rotating mechanism and it was funded by the state in the period of King Otto). The room was beautiful and so comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you’d need. The swimming pool was just perfect, with a small pool for our little boy. Not too busy, some of the days were actually very quiet. We loved it. a few very nice beaches near by, 3-5 min drive. Distance to town center was about 7-8 min drive. Absolutely amazing island, great views from Ano Syros. We loved it!!!! And last but not least, the staff were great! So polite, helpful, lovely. Biggest THANK YOU to Jiota, Irini, Christina, and all those we didn’t meet for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. We just wish we stayed longer! But of course, we will be back hopefully next year ☺️.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

I'm extremely happy with my stay here! The staff was so welcoming and nice. The pool was incredible and the views were spectacular! Christina at the bar was very nice and made us amazing drinks and food. Breakfast had a variety of options. The room was spacious, clean and our balcony had a great view also! We felt like this was paradise.

The only negative would be that if you don't have a vehicle, the nearest town is a 20 minute walk up/down a steep hill, which can be challenging especially in the heat. We also had trouble connecting to the wifi in certain areas by the pool and our room.

Great sea views, accommodation was very clean and staff were very helpful and attentive. Towels changed and beds made daily which we were not expecting. Pool was amazing and not too busy and there are some really lovely seating areas with great views. Location on island was great too, close to main town of Ermoupolis, we had a car so could also explore rest of the island.

Wasn’t much kitchen equipment, chose this accommodation partly because it had kitchen facilities but as soon as we asked the staff they delivered what we needed to our apartment straight away.

The room was nice even if it wasn't anything I'd call special - we had all we needed for our stay. The view was great and you can really experience the sunrise if you get up early. The staff was very helpful and helped us have a great stay. Also the swimming pool is a nice place to relax and the breakfast was good.

The place is a bit far from nice beaches - you need to walk about 20 minutes to Azolimnos beach where there is also a bus stop. There is no restaurant at the place but you can order a sandwich, a pizza, or some snacks and drinks at the pool.

Pool was fantastic, great location for a quiet holiday. A little far away from main town however taxis are cheap (approx 8-12€ each way). There is nearby town which is a 20 min walk and has a couple nice restaurants/bars.

Nothing really - no food can be left out as there are ants.
