A very quiet room in a fantastic location. I read all the other reviews about so many stairs to reach Hermoupolis Rooms, but you have to go up and down stairs to do anything in the town! This property is in a very good location to easily walk to the marina, the KTEL bus station (about a 7 minute walk), the main square with the Town Hall (about a 5 minute walk), and plenty of shopping and restaurants. Dimitris was extremely helpful, always responding to our questions very quickly. He gave us a nice overview of the island on our arrival, and allowed us to leave our luggage before check in and after check out times. The room was very clean and stocked with a refrigerator and a few dishes, glasses and silverware. There were long clotheslines right outside our door which was very helpful for drying swimsuits, beach towels, etc. We were extremely pleased with the room.

Really convinient location and at a very affordable price. The staff was very kind and accommodating. They offer to hold your luggage until your room is ready and until you leave after checkout which is a plus!

The sheets and towels looked very old and so did some of the facilities (shower had several broken pieces etc). Nothing horrible or or unusable however. The room was also a bit cramped with the bed taking up most of the space, but for what we wanted it, it was more than acceptable.

Excellent location! Only a few minutes walk from the port and all the main attractions in Ermoupoli. The host was very reachable and hospitable. The room had all the amenities needed for a short stay in Ermoupoli and was cleaned every day. We were also provided with extra towels when needed. The host was kind enough to keep our luggage until our departure from Syros which was late in the afternoon.

The location is central in a quiet street - a few minutes from the main square and port. The host was nice - we were able to leave our luggage with him until the room was ready. Our room had a balcony (highly recommended for just a few euros more) with a nice view of the street and even a glimpse of the sea. In particular in the aftenoon the balcony benefitted form the shade. The room was basic but clean and good value for money.

The place was great, with lots of space and in a very central location. The host was great as well always keen to help out with tips about the island. I would definitely recommend this place for your holiday.

It was an excellent location - very close to the city centre and not far from the port either! The staff were amazing too, so friendly and helpful.

The beds were a bit too firm for our tastes and the shower leaked but otherwise fine.

Very pretty traditional accommodation in peaceful location though only one street behind seafront. Near to port and lots of bars and restaurants. Very friendly owner who is a great ambassador for Syros. He obviously loves the island and wants to share his passion for and knowledge of it with his guests. He epitomised all that is good about Greek hospitality.

The kindest most thoughtful host I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Met me at port to bring bags, took me to doctor when unwell and was available at all times. Rooms weee basic but perfect and clean. Amazing location.

Bed a little hard for me .

Dimitris was so helpful and accommodating with a late check out and luggage storage. Location is a very quiet neighbourhood yet only 5 minutes from everything Ermoupoli has to offer. Very good value for money.

Bed a little uncomfortable, no mugs only small tea cups.

Good location . Close to port . Lovely room with balcony overlooking street. Owner extremely friendly and helpful storing our bicycles for us . Was there to welcome and help us when we arrived on a late ferry
