Faros Suites is a charming, family-run hotel where you'll receive a warm welcome from the lovely family that operates it. They provide basic services that cover all your needs. The on-site restaurant offers a simple menu with burgers, pizzas, and club sandwiches. We stayed in a room with a hot tub, which was perfect for creating a super bubble bath that our daughter thoroughly enjoyed. The view from our room was lovely, overlooking a trail that leads to a small beach and offering a vast ocean vista. The hotel is just a six-minute walk to a delightful beach town, where you'll find a small supermarket and several food and coffee options. The weather can be windy at times, but it adds to the charm. On the beach, you can rent beds and shades for the price of a few beers. Some reviews mention that this is a basic resort, and while the name might suggest otherwise, it's important to note that most accommodations on the island are similar. Renting a car to explore the island, visit fine restaurants, and enjoy different beaches is highly recommended. However, it was always comforting to return to this cozy hotel. The staff, particularly Sophia and Nikos, were very friendly and helpful. They arranged taxis, gave us rides to the beach when available, and coordinated car rentals as needed.

Lovely staying ❤️ Amazingly beautiful area, everything is so clean , tight and so relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet around so you can stay at pool any time of the day and read book in calmness and no one disturb you… Location is super ! Stuff is so helpful and friendly. Nikos with George was taking care about breakfast ( by the way the breakfast was very good, dishes change every day , everything fresh , hot , delicious, and soooo many variations of the food, I loved it) . George escorted me to the room and explained basic things and some organising moment and rules. Nikos was so kind and was taking me by car down to the beach ( kind of transfer , just because I was lazy to walk 7 minutes by foot 🤪😁) Sofia was taking care about reception and my booking . I had super good experience with it. All was smooth and easy. She was helping me with check in and check out . Thank you guys for so warm welcoming and good care during my stay 😇🩵

We loved our stay at Faros Resort. The pool area overlooking the sea is amazing. You can swim in the pool and look out at the sea. There are lots of comfortable sunbeds to lounge on. The staff were lovely and really helpful. It is a family run business which helped make us feel comfortable and looked after. The private beach although very small was a really peaceful place to sit. The room had great aircon which was very much appreciated on hot days. The whole place was very relaxing and a short walk to a great beach, great restaurants and bars and a shop. I would recommend staying at Faros Resort and Syros is an amazing island with great food, culture and beaches.

The room lacked a few touches that would bring this resort to a 10 for me. Things like a bedside table and pegs to keep clothes that are drying on the rail and a few cups. The curtains could have done with being replaced. But none of this stopped us from having an amazing time. The breakfast was fine, but again a few touches could have made it amazing.

Very quiet resort (when I was there there weren't many other guests), somewhat secluded. The private beach of the resort was small and rocky, but very idyllic for lingering and watching the sea. Pool area with several sunbeds very high quality, modern and great ambience, beautiful view downhill to the sea. Rersort only with breakfast, but its only a 10-minute walk to the small village of Azolimnos where are restaurants and a minimarket. Room: window in the bathroom with mosquito net!

The bathtub in the bathroom is somewhat impractical for showering. There is no blind in the room, only a curtain, it is already quite bright in the morning, just for your information. Investment proposal: I missed a fully automatic coffee/cocoa machine for self service at breakfast :)

Lovely family run hotel, super friendly and nothing too much trouble. Fabulous pool and pool area, huge pool lots of shady lounging and seating areas with pool service. Large clean rooms with great views.

Some of the rooms need updating- the beds were a mixture of new and not very new, same with the air conditioning. None of the lovely balconies have shade which makes them unusable in the day (though this looks to be a work already in progress). No yea and coffee facilities in the room.

View was amazing. The resort was quiet when we were there in late June which suited us. The pool area was really lovely with sun beds shaded areas and chsirs and tables where you could have breakfast. The bedroom we had was an upgrade from the budget cave room and after seeing the cave room I was very grateful for it!The staff were very helpful and friendly. Taxis were good value.

The beach was a little unkempt and I found myself picking up litter everyday and tidying up the chairs and table area. The pool area was kept fairly tidy.

9/10. Peaceful place, beautifully decorated in a traditional style. Amazing pool and stunning views. Staff was super friendly. We loved having a jacuzzi in our suite! Breakfast was good.

Only downside: no AC in the kids’ room in our suite, so we had to keep the door open — not ideal for privacy.

This is fantastic hotel. All make with soul and honest. It’s cool please for Instagram shots. Room was clean every day perfectly. Breakfast was teasty. Everywhere is so comfortable and beautiful. Also there is beautiful hotel beach. It’s was perfect 10 days in this hotel. Thank you owner and his family to make our trip the best.

Very beautiful pool and bar areas. Nice and functional 4 person room with nice view. Comfortable beds.

Best to have a car. It is a ca. ten minute walk up and down to the little village with beach, store and restaurants, which is fine, but a car is also nice to be able to access other (even nicer) beaches on the island.
