A wonderful vacation. An authentic hotel that conveys the local flavor. Spacious apartments with two terraces. One offers a picturesque view of the sea. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Daily cleaning and towel replacement. There is a supermarket right across the street where you can buy everything you need. On the promenade, which is next to the hotel, there are many taverns, cafes, and bars with cuisine for every taste. We would like to thank the owner of the hotel Anti, who went out of her way to accommodate us and, considering our early arrival, provided us with the apartment before check-in time. If we plan another vacation in Crete, it will only be at this hotel.

Much better than most of the hotels these apartments are simple, authentic and really well designed, to give a sense of privacy. They are super clean, well maintained with wonderfully friendly staff who are really willing to help with anything you need. There’s a great pool with siblings etc but you are also in the perfect location with everything you want right on your doorstep. 3 min walk to the harbour (which the perfect place to swim) with a multitude of waterfront restaurants, friendly local tavernas and all the shops you might need and about 15 min walk to the nearest beach which has sunbeds and a great cafe. All that and stunning sunsets every evening .. totally Incredible!!

The hotel is in a perfect location right on the coast. Sisi is a beautiful town with many restaurants and bars. I had a room on the first floor with a balcony overlooking the sea and the swimming pool. The room was large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. The perfect place for total relaxation. Anthi the owner is wonderful. She was very kind to me when my flight was diverted to Athens overnight. She kept in contact and helped to arrange a taxi to collect me from the airport when I finally arrived over 24 hours late. She made me feel very welcome and helped guide what I should do during my stay including beaches and restaurants.

I wish I could have stayed longer. I only had 2 nights.

Great location. The minimarket shop is next door. 3-4 min walking you can reach 6-8 restaurants and few bars. 600 meters walk to the beach (10 euros/2 person), which is not very fancy but calm and quet. (You probably need sea shoes to walk into the water) But the pool is also great with fantastic view. You can take organized trips to different destinations or you can rent a car in the village. Nice and friedly stuff.

Don’t expect luxury, this is a nice, clean and good value place.

Beautiful traditional apartments and building; with everything you need for a lovely relaxing holiday. The pool is right by the sea and the hotel is in a great central location while also being very peaceful. The staff were friendly and responsive, a big thanks especially to Violetta who was on hand keeping all the apartments spotless. Good communication with the owner who lives in the building so can quickly sort out any issues. It was a wonderful stay in Sissi, lots of good places to eat, nice beaches nearby and a laid back atmosphere in beautiful surroundings.

Where to even start? We were instantly struck by the smell of flowers when we arrived and that set the tone for our entire stay! Anthi was fantastic from the very beginning and couldn’t have been any more accommodating! She made contact right from the moment we booked which was great. We stayed in a superior sea view apartment and it was beautiful. It comprised of 2 balconies which allowed us to enjoy the sun in the morning and later afternoon. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay from coffee machine to toaster, hob, utensils, fridge, hair dryer - the lot! The room was serviced every day by the most lovely lady. Too often places online are not what you actually get but not in this case - it is exactly like the pictures! A shop directly across the road and restaurants a 2 minute walk away.. we will be back!! Location, location, location!

Rooms could be a bit bigger for a family of four. However, that does matter much since you never spend time in there anyways. Tons to do, lots to find out.

Fabulous sea front 1 bed apartment, stunning sea views and sunsets. We stayed in ground floor, front facing Apt 14 . Short walk (5 mins) to lots of excellent tavernas, restaurants and local shops in Sissi. Cleaned daily, friendly staff. Small, quirky complex.Great comms during our stay., even with a very late arrival ( midnight, thanks Anthi). Freshwater pool great too. Dont often say this, but we hope to return soon!!

Honestly. nothing to not like about the Porto Sissi, however no real beaches close by, if you like that sort of thing.

Great location - easy walking distance from main restaurants and town activity. pool right in front of apartment. Beautiful sunsets and clear skies every day. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We immediately felt at home. Typical greek town with lots of activities for tourists and kids. Great beaches near by.

not much. this apartment was maybe on the small side for our family of three. a/c in the main living area would have been a plus during hot summer days. not anyones fault ! Next time we choose a bigger apartment.

The apartment was characterful and charming. Good bathroom with a shower you could stand under. Small balcony overlooking the sea. Pool area was good for relaxing in. Great location near to harbour, tavernas and shops. Very helpful host.

Kitchen area quite small. Would have been nice to have had a mosquito screen on the balcony doors (was on all other windows).
