Many good things to say. First of all the big smile and warm welcome of the lady owning the place. It's a family business, and genuine Cretan hospitality is in their DNA. The location is nice, not inside the noisy village, not far away from waking distance to the taverns and the village center. The residence has an own pool serving ice cold refreshments around the clock. Enjoy them as much as you can, and keep in your memories the genuine feelings conveyed by the owner. Cretan hospitality at its best!

Lovely welcome from the host Sophia even though late arrival from us. Room was lovely, exactly as the picture shows. Comfortable bed, modern hot powerful shower. Hair dryer and straighteners in the room. Location 5 minutes from everything. Nothing is too much trouble if you require something. Lovely family. Looking forward to our return.

this was one of the best places i’ve ever stayed, staff went above and beyond so helpful and kind. I felt so welcome and facilitates were amazing. could not recommend more if you need to stay in sisi.

Super place to stay at very reasonable price. Excellent location, very friendly hosts, few minutes walk from the village, port & beach. Snack Bar & Pool accessible right next to the room. Small but very clean & functional room with lovely balcony. Brand new bathroom (a bit small but very clean & pretty). Big reco for Menios Tavern just few meters away, excellent home made food at good price.

Frankly we were very happy with everything. If something could be improved it would maybe be at the pool: have more shade and not let people block the sunbeds with their towels

Everything!! Lovely room, lovely balcony, fully equipped for light meals, and the cleanliness was second to none. The staff, family run, couldn’t do enough for you. Nice pool, with a lovely little bar and eating area. Best cold beer in Sissi. Highly recommended to stay here!! We’ll be back

The Maria Hotel is well located, has friendly staff ,excellent accomodation with access to great facilities. It is a short distance from the centre of Sissi with its many great restaurants and picturesque port. Beautiful sunsets are a wonderful bonus.

The location worked very well for us as it was 400 metres from the centre with gorgeous views of the mountains . The swimming pool at the Maria Hotel exceeded our expectations as did the availability of food and drink all day until late . The owners were involved every day and were both friendly and very knowledgable . Sissi is a compact small town with mainly family businesses and so networking and finding answers to our questions was relatively easy . The restaurants that we tried were all very good - simple traditional dishes with fresh product cooked well . Our visit into the mountains and the Lassithi Plateau was spectacular. All in all "whats not to like ! "

We had a two day excursion to relax in a quiet place, because we stayed in Heraklion all the week, and this was an amazing experience. Thanks to Sofia (the owner) that she was so hospitable, we are going to come back. Low prices for high quality services. Everything was even better that we had imagined. The village is an opportunity to relief your mental health. Beautiful sceneries, outstanding sunset, picturesque small port, hospitable people, tasty food corners and nice shops.
