We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located—right on the beach, in a charming and peaceful town that’s not too crowded. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. A special shoutout to Andreas, the amazing event host who brings so much energy and joy to the place. He truly lifts the atmosphere, making every guest feel seen and appreciated. Andreas is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone is having a great time—we can’t thank him enough! Also, Vasili the bartender was fantastic—professional, welcoming, and made excellent drinks. The breakfast was varied and delicious, the rooms were cozy and well-kept, and everything was spotless. If you stay on the lower levels, you can even hear the waves from your room—highly recommended!

A friendly note: the village is not fully accessible for people with mobility issues. While it is possible to reach the dining area and rooms with some effort, the pool and bar area—which are the heart of the hotel—are not easily accessible without stairs. However, there is a sister hotel across the road and an adjacent resort that might offer better accessibility options. Our only real criticism is that the beds were not very comfortable. Aside from that, it was an amazing stay and we would definitely love to come back!

A pleasant room in the amazingly beautiful village of Sisi. This was our first time in Sisi an we loved it. We will definitely be back. One of our highlights was The Jolly Roger bar next door (literally) with great live rock music. We were there for 2 nights over a weekend and there was music on both nights. We visited Spinalonga - via Plaka (45 mins drive) and also Milatos Cave ( 20 mins drive). Both amazing and highlights of our 10 day holiday in Crete.

We had originally booked a room with a sea view. However, because it was our anniversary we paid extra to get a suite. I honestly could see no difference between the 2 when we arrived. Our 'suite' was quite cramped and did not have the extras promised. I think the extra was a little area with a sofa as seen in the photos.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for setting out to see the rest of Crete and for wandering around in Sissi itself. Communal areas were kept clean and tidy and there was a pleasant atmosphere throughout. Aircon did an amazing job!

Room was a bit in the small side. There is a lot of variation in room sizes for what are ostensibly the same class of room. That said this is a minor niggle and wouldn't stop me going here again.

This is the best place to stay in Sisi and in this part of Crete. The hotel is cozy and family-like, you feel like home there. Everything is clean and beautiful, room is very convenient, food is great. We stayed for a week and would love to stay for one more. There are two good pools, bar with nice cocktails. Once a week you can take part in Greek night for extra price – it is a great fun and is provided with a fantastic dinner. There is a good beach in 15 min walk from the hotel and it's worth a walk. Near the hotel there are supermarkets, car rentals, tavernas, souvenir shops. I highly recommend Costello as it is a place that will provide everything you want for a nice and calm vacation. Staff is helpful and very friendly. We will miss this place very much

I can say that in this place, work most friendly and helpful people what we met. They will help you with all your requests and questions. Also here you can find a very good restaurant with delicious breakfast and dinner.

One detail some was very sad it is lounge zone. I think the management of the hotel needs to think about the renovation of some of those places.

Great room and location in a super welcoming community village of Sissi. Good choice of food for all.

The people smoking near the restaurant and the lack of privacy between the rooms. We could hold hands across the patio when in the jacuzzi. The rules on the dreaded towels on sun beds was not managed by the hotel.

Throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They were attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to any requests. I genuinely felt like a valued guest, and it made all the difference. Overall, an exceptional experience, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, and top-notch service.

Reception is accommodating, the place was near a beach and sea. Really near some shops and restos

The room we got had glass doors, we didnt have much privacy and you can hear the noises from upstairs.

The bed was too small, just a double, I had to sleep on the sofa, and the balcony with jacuzzi needed updating, the old air-conditioning unit's need removing as they are unsightly .....m

Breakfast was good. Great choice of fresh and tasty food. The hotel is in town overlooking the sea, 10 minutes way from a beach.

There are no shower facilities if you have a Kate flight home.
