Tucked away on the other side of the island of syros lyes Hotel Benois. The hotel is opposite a secluded beach to enjoy morning swims and breathtaking sunsets. The hotel is stylish yet comfy with lots of little nooks to curl up in with a good book in. The rooms are very clean and the pool is stunning with an abundance of pool beds and chairs to sleep the afternoon away in. What I loved the most however was the staff. Family run, Hotel Benois is warm and welcoming and the owner is fluent in many languages to converse and connect the guests .Travelling alone "its the people you meet not the places you go" I highly recommend this Hotel and look forward to returning again.

Helpful, polite English speaking stuff. Superb location just across the street from Galissas beach. The price is a little bit premium compared to other accommodations in the area, but it is deserved for great service and good breakfast options. The hotel has its own restaurant with huge plate sizes, a nice swimming pool, and private parking. There is no loud music at the nearby venues, and the tourist traffic here is comparably lower from the other locations on Syros, nice quiet place.

I recently had an unforgettable 7 nights stay at this place on the beautiful island of Syros Nestled in a charming small village that hasn't been spoiled by mass tourism, it offers a serene and authentic Greek Cyclades experience. The hotel is only 50 meters from a very nice beach, making it ideal for beach lovers. It features a stunning pool too, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. The food at the hotel is delicious (a special mention to the breakfast), and the cocktails are great and reasonably priced. Within a 5-minutes walk, you'll find several great restaurants, allowing you to explore local cuisine easily. Additionally, there are supermarkets, a pharmacy, souvenir stores and a bus stop right at the corner, ensuring you have everything you need close by. The service at Hotel Benois is fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. If you're planning a trip to Syros and want a hotel that combines a peaceful location, stunning pool, delicious food and drinks, and outstanding service, Hotel Benois is the perfect choice.

I would have rated an overall 10 if our triple room hadn't been equipped with somewhat old furniture and a small kitchen block we had no interest in using. Instead of cupboards where we could store our belongings, we were left with this unnecessary kitchen space. This made it difficult for us to organize our things properly.

The location was incredible - a stones throw from the beach (we were able to get our first dip of the day before breakfast!) and the beach itself is stunning. The hotel is so clean and beautifully decorated. It's peaceful and quiet which meant that I could totally switch off for the whole time that I was there - I've come back to the UK fully recharged! The food was so so nice - with an excellent selection of traditional Greek breakfast items. We also dined in the hotel restaurant numerous times and the food was always superb. What my family and I liked the most though, was the atmosphere created by every single member staff - the most friendly, welcoming, warm group of people that made our stay so special. It came to feel like home!! We would recommend Hotel Benois without a second's thought.

Having to come home!

This hotel exceeded expectations. Breakfast was fabulous, and the lunch and dinner dining was also excellent. The location on The beach was second to non. Staff were amazing-especially Maria and Forsay(wrong spelling). We couldn’t have been looked after better. Our daughter and partner joined us from Australia and also her best school friend and partners from England so we were a mixed generation group. We will definitely return. This is like old school Greece from the 70’s and 80’s. Absolutely beautiful. Thank you Benois.

Nothing could get better!

The Hotel Benois exceeded our expectations. It has a wonderful blend of what we wanted. Comfort, hospitality,great food, facilities, authenticity, charm, it was without doubt the real Greece everyone dreams about. The staff were delightful a special mention to the sweet Albanian girl who we shall miss, the range of cats ( if you like them) is excellent too. Great cleaning staff! Would love to return in the future.

Please don't visit if you're over demanding and ungrateful. It's a family run place so bring your manners with you.

The location of the hotel and its proximity to galisas beach, the neighborhood and its practical services from supermarket to car rental, the restaurant of the hotel and its beautiful view and copious dishes, the delicious restaurant right outside the hotel, the pool, the team always smiling, the general simple vibe, the room directly by the pool...

Our family room was a bit small for 3 people, especially the bathroom. It was the only available room at the time of booking so we don't know about the spaciousness of other rooms compared to that one.

Our stay at Benois was nothing short of amazing! The property itself was excellent, and the restaurant was truly a highlight. I had the best pavlova I've ever tasted there – absolutely divine! The staff were incredibly friendly and always available to help, making the stay even more enjoyable. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. If I ever return to Syros, Benois will definitely be my top choice. Sending warm greetings to everyone, and a special virtual hug to the adorable doggo of the owner, Simon.

Hotel Benois was a lovely hotel, ideally situated and great facilities. The pool was lovely, good deep end and ample shallow end. There was always a lounger available and people graciously kept to the rule about not trying to hold it all day. The view in the picture is the view, it’s glorious and looks right over Galissas beach. The rooms were as stated, nicely done, good space. Secure a pool view of you can.

There wasn’t much not to like. I would always try and go for a pool or sea view though.

Beautiful location on a stunning beach, the hotel is close to lovely restaurants including their own. The staff were delightful and very helpful. The pool area was lovely with very comfortable sunbeds. All In all a really lovely 5 night stay.

Whilst we really loved the hotel, we didn’t like the view of the big bouncy castle from the balcony! It went up and down during our stay but it’s not a pretty sight!
