The breakfast at the top with the magnificent views across the sea was served by the delightful Thanasis who brought us as much coffee as we wanted. We absolutely adored sitting there every morning after our swim below. The location of the beautiful hotel is right above a platform that gives quite a spectacular access to swimming in the sea. The great town itself is easily accessible on foot with many good and sometimes quirky restaurants and the access to many lovely beaches by bus is reliably scheduled. Also, a charming detail in the hotel itself was the record player in the entrance hall where we could choose records from the owner's excellent taste in music.

Unfortunately the road below is very busy so the pleasure of sitting on our wonderful balcony at night was somewhat diminished by the traffic passing right below.A few details in the room were missing but readily supplied.: e.g, we did not have a reading light by the bed side but were given one in requesting it.

The location is great in the most beautiful part of Syros and the building itself is excellent. The staff is helpful and polite, the rooms are clean and the mattresses/pillows are extremely comfortable.

The breakfast is served in a nice balcony but otherwise it’s not something special. I would recommend options without breakfast as you can find better options outside the hotel. The selection is limited even in basic items like the eggs. I would prefer few selections with a true local character or a larger selection of the currently offered mixed continental and English breakfast.

The views from the property were absolutely stunning, and the hotel itself is beautifully designed and well located. It’s in a quiet, peaceful area, with a small town beach just below. Breakfast was fresh and tasty – not a buffet, but you can order anything from the menu.

We expected the rooms to be a bit larger, but it wasn’t a big issue since we spent most of our time outside. The room was generally clean, though we did find a strand of hair hanging in the shower, which wasn’t ideal.

The location was nice, close to a picturesque area of the village. Bonus for breakfast, the food was fresh and the views of the terrace were breathtaking.

The room was outdated and really dark. The window was looking out on a small outside passage poorly maintained. In the bathroom there was no shower curtain and the water was easily flooding around. Also the shower towels were located on a high level not so accessible for a short person. There were noises during the weekend and bells noises.

Beautiful and spotlessly clean elegant hotel in a neoclassical building. The staff were friendly and very professional- especially Stelios and Maria as well as Vangelis who enjoyed sharing his historical knowledge of Syros with genuine enthusiasm. The front desk/ Reception staff during the day were extremely helpful , warm and kind. The reception is manned 24 hours- such a bonus! I am looking forward to staying at this ambient hotel in the near future with great pleasure. A true gem.

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

The location was perfect for exploring Syros, and there's a swimming platform nearby with amazing views of the coastline, the hotel has beach towels if you ask! There's a bus stop in front of this property. Breakfast features a large assortment of fresh fruits, spinach and cheese pie, breads, eggs, fresh orange juice, and many other delicious items. And we loved dining on the outdoor terrace that has sublime seaviews. Our favourite staff member was the lovely young woman who served the breakfast. She was always smiling, helpful, and friendly. Our room was very small but the glorious sea view we had on the 2nd floor compensated. We stayed for a week (we did miss having extraroom and a kitchen for a week long stay). There's also an elevator to the 2nd floor. Beds were firm but comfortable and we had no problem sleeping. It was quiet at night. Our room was very clean and housekeeping was daily. Wonderful shower. There was a wardrobe to hang clothes and a safe.. We noticed that the bathroom walls could use a fresh coat of paint. But help was always available: when our bolt didn't work on our door, it was fixed immediately. There's also a coffee shop where you can purchase beverages. We really loved this hotel: the beautiful architecture, the location was easy walking distance to town, and a 20 minute walk from the port. It's a historical building that has gorgeous architectural features. It's beautiful and charming (and quirky too) boutique hotel. It's very special. Oh, and the WiFi was great. We'd return in a heartbeat!

There is nothing to unlike in as a 4 star hotel in Syros.

And what view … stunningly beautiful. The hotel is a magnificent neo classical mansion in a seriously commanding position overlooking the sea in the old town. Did I mention the view? Arguably the best position in the whole city. We loved it. We booked a sea facing room which had a delightful little balcony to while away the hours watching the sea and sunset. Just a short walk below the hotel you can access the swimming area and swim below the cliff with amazing views all around you. The hotel has what I would call character. The decor is traditional and not boutique, perhaps here and there it feels dated and could do with some freshening up … but it is quite grande. Maybe faded grandeur is a better description. Our sea front room had imposing high ceilings, a wonderful marble bathroom and lovely period touches like the marquetry floor and painted ceiling. And did I mention the view? It was breath taking. I found our bed very comfortable and the bathroom lotions and potions beautiful. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return, if for nothing else but that view that I will never forget.

Breakfast is served on a roof terrace, again with the wonderful view. Overall breakfast is decent, not great but decent enough.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It was a unique experience to go out in the morning and enter the sea from the rocks. Apart from that, breakfast, hotel staff, room were very good
