Location was ideal for our young family. Next to the beach, with a few little tavernas for lunch and dinner options. We were in a new/renovated two bedroom room which was beautiful. Very spacious and views from the terrace were fantastic! Having free ice cream and popcorn for kids was a really loving touch. The staff could not have been more helpful and lovely! Would stay here again!

We had an excellent stay! But if we had to let the hotel know a few easy improvements it would be to update the coffee machine at breakfast - limited options and often didn’t work for us. Also on the weekend the pool was very busy with what we assumed was non guests which made it hard to get a seat. We stayed for a week and would have been nice if they changed our sheets at least once or twice during our stay.

We stayed at Dolphin Bay Hotel in Syros — a beautiful, clean hotel with a warm welcome. Great for kids, and the area around is lovely with 5–6 excellent restaurants (we tried them all!). We highly recommend renting a car to explore the nearby villages and beaches. Syros is calm but truly charming — a peaceful and beautiful island

The hotel, pools, and beaches were always full of kids and families. It’s very different from other islands where you find quiet boutique hotels and peaceful spots. You really need to know this before booking. That said, if you have children, it’s great for them — they’ll easily find other kids to play with.

Perfect location ,steps to gorgeous beach with soft sand bottom and warm water ! Room was clean and comfortable / good shower ( rain shower and hand held ) Breakfast included had enough to satisfy anyone , although they only alternate a few dishes every other day so could be a bit boring if staying longer . Breakfast waiters need a bit more enthusiasm . Dishes stacked on a tables while they stood around , however female worker in buffet was excellent , sorry didn’t get her name - but she worked like 4 men lol ( short hair lady ) Pool was very nice and very much enjoyed by families - children given free popcorn and ice cream unlimited . Upper deck with subbed chairs were a quiet retreat . Grounds are kept very nice - gardener was always busy ! Maids did good work . Manager Dimitrius seemed 24 hrs a day and very approachable- he really enjoys his job and it shows ! And wifi was good ! Our last visit it was not but they have made it much much better now !

Nothing really but if mobility impaired be sure to request a room with no Stairs to entrance . Wish they had a few more Greek dishes on patio menu - fried squid was very good !

Superb property by the Galissas beach in Syros. Loved the 4 star service along with delicious breakfast. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will come back soon for a snug and enjoyable stay.

The hotel is very family friendly, next to probably the best beach in Syros. Breakfast included everything you could expect.Pool was large enough and a lifeguard always present to keep an eye. Kids really enjoyed all the offered facilities.

Room was too far and quite difficult to access. The hotel is located in a small hill, unfortunately our room was at the highest point of it and was a bit difficult to access with the kids. Maybe we should insist for a room closer to the pool or the reception.

You need to take a taxi to visit Ermoupolis the center and you couldn’t find a taxi easily. It would be nice if they offered a shuttle for the guests.

Great family resort. Large pool, right next to the beach. Several great taverns near by - a bar/cafe right infront with a huge kids play area inside. The beach is very kids friendly - shallow a long way out and calm. Very decent breakfast and buffet dinner at the hotel. Restaurant is lovely - with outdoor seating and a lovely vibe. We had a lovely sea view, a decent sized balcony and were located near the lifts/stairs to reception and the pool which was very handy and idea for us with small kids. Aircon worked well. Great value for money for a week stay for a sea view and breakfast and pool with waterslide

The location is perfect, just steps away from a stunning beach. The pool area is fantastic, and the service is excellent. The hotel offers a variety of activities, including a cinema and a game room. There's even staff available to take care of the kids in the evening, which was a huge plus for us. We also appreciated that they allowed us to enjoy the hotel facilities until 7 PM, even though we checked out of our room at 11 AM. The breakfast is also really good, you can choose everything that you like. While it's a bit pricier than other options, the incredible service and amenities make it worth every penny. You can easily switch between the pool and the beach, which is ideal for families. The water slide was an absolute hit with the kids, and they loved being able to eat as much ice cream as they wanted! Everything was amazing—thank you!

The location, the ease to get around, the kid pool and the big pool.

I would like the property to have an outdoor designated smoking area, and not allow smoking in the breaksfast/ dinner location, since many young kids are around, and it’s not fun for the parents who don’t smoke either.

Great location - very close to the beach, bars, tavernas, shops etc. We got the bus there from the Port and walked with our suitcases from the bus-stop. Room spacious and airy, nice balcony with great views of the sea. Swimming pool is large with comfortable sunbeds on two levels (some by the upper pool bar). There's a slide open at certain times for the kids. Breakfast very good - hot and cold options.

When we booked I was under the impression that the beach area closest to the hotel was private but it is, in fact, open to the public. Not a problem as such, as there were plenty of beds when we were there, but the cost for 2 beds and umbrella is 20 euros for guests of the hotel, which is a discount! (otherwise I think it's 30 -40 euros there or elsewhere along the beach). Seems to be the going rate these days unfortunately.
