Me and my fianceé recently spent a week at this luxurious resort in Crete and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided top-notch service and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We got upgrade to Deluxe room with private pool with sea view and that was the icing on the cake. You can choose from many swimming pools including a heated one. Some pools have salty water, we appreciated the adults only zone next to the pool and what can I say..... the cabanas are divine. The resort has very relaxing atmosphere, quiet despite of the resort is relatively large. The food was delicious, to many variations to choose from. On breakfast I appreciated the coffee, which was made on the bar not automatic machine by myself. Dinner has to many corners with food from pizza, pasta, sea food, greek corner and many more. I especially found the desserts very impressive. I have never seen such high level desserts at hotels. The cleaning lady did her job very well with attention to details. Overall, our stay at the Royal Senses Resort & Spa was pure paradise. The combination of stellar accommodations, remarkable service, and gorgeous setting made this one of the most luxurious and memorable vacations we've ever had.

High quality resort and very friendly staff. Nice and clean room with balcony and fantastic sunset over the ocean. Aqua park for the children and kids club was great. Many pools to choose from and a good gym/spa. Good food and nice restaurants, shops, boutiques, tenniscourt and fotball pitch.

It was hard to get sunbeds even if there was many pools, the service was lacking some days but I’m sure the staff did there best, it was very busy.

Our recent stay at Royal Senses was a delightful experience. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were captivated by the hotel's elegant and contemporary interior design. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was assisting with our luggage or providing recommendations for local attractions, their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist made us feel truly welcome. During our stay, we encountered a couple of minor issues, but the staff handled them promptly and efficiently. Their professionalism and dedication to resolving problems were truly commendable. Overall, our stay at Royal Senses was exceptional. The combination of stylish decor, excellent service, and effective problem-solving made it a memorable experience. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Rethymno.

Unfortunately, our dining experience at Platia Restaurants left us feeling disappointed. The food, while visually appealing, was overpriced and the portions were rather small. We were particularly disappointed with the service, which was slow and inattentive. Additionally, the rice pudding we ordered was undercooked and cost a hefty 14 euros. Considering Crete's reputation for delicious and affordable traditional food, our experience at Platia Restaurants was a significant letdown. Additionally, while breakfast offered a decent variety of options, the overall quality was somewhat lacking. For instance, the French toast was disappointing as it didn't appear to be made with toasted bread.

Loved the beauty of the hotel. Staff were very helpful. Food and variety were superb!

Charged 100 euros again for 10 days which was for environmental fee. It was already charged by booking.com. Also requested 2 single beds on booking,com and had corresponded with hotel re 2 single beds. It was not ready when I arrived and only on day 2 rectified. I was told that I did not request it and then showed confirmation of request. No apologies were made. Housekeeping not very tidy and clean. Floors always dirty even after it was mopped. Bed sheets never changed and when queried was told to put a card on the bed. No ‘card requesting bed change’ was in my room. Shower never cleaned and soap/cream dispensers were empty.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the luxurious five-star hotel, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked through the grand entrance, I was greeted with impeccable service and warmth. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort and elegance, with a stunning sea view. What truly sets this hotel apart is its staff – their genuine hospitality and attention to detail made me feel like royalty throughout my stay. Without a doubt, this five-star hotel is a gem that epitomizes luxury and excellence in every aspect. I cannot wait to return for another unforgettable experience.

While my stay at the hotel was undoubtedly exceptional, there was one minor drawback that I feel compelled to mention. Despite the overall luxury and comfort of the room, I did notice some noise from the corridor filtering into the room during the night. At times, it was possible to hear people passing by, which slightly affected the quality of sleep. While this issue did not significantly detract from my overall experience, I believe that improving the acoustic insulation in the rooms could further enhance the tranquility and privacy for guests. However, I must emphasize that this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise flawless stay at this outstanding five-star hotel.

The hotel was lovely, the design, the cleanliness, there is nothing to complain about but most importantly what made this vacation so beautiful was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, we felt very taken care of! We visited the Spa for some treatments and tried the different restaurants at the premises and from when we arrived till we left, everyone was taking care of us. The cocktails at the pool bar were super yummy and the breakfast buffet has a huge varierty of food from sweet to savoury, from healthy to indulgent. We would come back for sure!

Nothing to complain, but if you want to explore the island you would need a car, the hotel is a bit more secluded, which we loved as it was calm and peaceful. But you can rent a car the hotel!

This is our second year coming to this hotel, and we plan to do so every year :-) We travel with friends who also have children. Everything at the hotel is perfect - the hotel has everything for children (kids' club and children's pools), yet it also presents itself as a wonderful adult hotel where there aren't screaming children all the time. The rooms are lovely, and there is daily cleaning! The buffet, both for breakfast and dinner, is the best I've seen and tasted - Delicious organic ingredients, always new variations, a wonderful salad bar, and they also cater to children. A bonus is the dessert with new cakes and an ice cream bar every evening! One of the nicest things about the hotel is that there is never a shortage of sunbeds. We like to switch between different pools in the middle of the day, which is never a problem because there are always available sunbeds. (I think they have a policy of removing towels if no one has used the bed in 30 minutes) Respect for addressing such a common issue at many hotels!

Wow, wow wow where to start? First of all, I just want to say that the property looks much much better compared to what you see in the pictures. I stayed in the private pool room and the pool view is breathtaking. The quality of the finishing, the room internal details and most importantly the view are beyond great and neat. The cleanliness on a daily basis is on a different level and food breakfast / board options are really good.. The fact that the property is secluded and exclusive was a critical factor to my experience. You can literally do everything in the property from swimming in the beach, having access to different pools, spa, restaurants, bars and drinks, gym and they even have an aqua park. Now the staff, mostly greek and cretens which shows the property management supporting the local community ! They even invited us to their management party!! The staff was hospitable, nice and very friendly and catered to every request we had ! I’m beyond greatful… I would definitely come back or recommend the property to friends and family. In full transparency and honesty, the fact that the walk from the parking to the room was around circa 12 minutes was slightly unpleasant. But this will somehow be expected given the size of the property.

Very friendly & accomodating staff, great pools infinity type, very good service and a very calm/zen overall feel of the place! A fantastic resort to enjoy your holidays! Really good food with great variety and very nice little touches showing caring both on check in and check out! A really lovely place overall!

I would only enrich the kids club and add more activities as well as inform more families on daily activities for the kids club, so that kids can attend more. Our son spend only a couple of hours just one day. The ladies are great and very good with the kids but it needs elevating to be more relevant. Would also add an entrance closer to the rooms for the kids club because as is it takes effort to get to the current entrance. Also there is space to add more things to entertain especially younger kids plus a wider tent as there is too much sun most of the day

Wow wow wow!! I don't even know where to begin. After arriving at the hotel in the afternoon, the staff welcomed us invitingly and friendly. It felt homey and pleasant when we got drinks and cookies. Getting the room was easy, and you upgraded us to a different room based on my partner's request. Until today, we haven't seen a room like this. After settling in, we toured the hotel and couldn't stop taking pictures and marveling at the beauty, quality, and detail in every corner of the hotel. It was a pleasure to swim in each of these large swimming pools. The small details, such as the large mattress in the pool, the umbrella, and the heating of the pool, gave the hotel a wonderful feeling and a desire to return. There was an amazing spa design and service at the entrance, and the swimming pool was very enjoyable. The breakfast service was kind and friendly, every morning asking how we were doing and giving a recommendation. My partner asked for a cake for my birthday during our stay. The cake was delicious! Additionally, I proposed marriage to my partner during the vacation, I had a lot of questions and also a wish to do in the hotel, and the girls at the reception gave me a lot of help and service that I hadn't seen before. Overall, our vacation was great, fun, and provided real freedom. We arrived from Israel at a difficult time when it was difficult to disconnect for moments. We managed to do it here, in the hotel, something that was not obvious. We will definitely return.
