We've stayed here before and love coming back. It's a beautiful location right on the waterfront, with spectacular sea views from every apartment. The staff are wonderful, and the apartment was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well equipped with a kitchenette including pots, pans, cutlery, stove, fridge, etc. We spent hours on the balcony enjoying the views and the sea breezes. The apartments are well designed to catch these breezes, so we were able to keep the doors and windows open most of the time even though it was 30+ degrees, and we had the option of air conditioning when it got too hot. We stayed for almost three weeks and could easily have stayed much longer.

Other guests spoil the peace these days by sitting on the balcony and using their phones as loudspeakers, but of course that's not the hotel's fault.

Fantastic welcoming hosts who genuinely cared that my stay was a good one and were keen to ask as to whether everything was as required. Extremely clean with crisp fresh sheets and towels which were replaced mid-stay. Apartment serviced daily (bins emptied, floors swept, surfaces cleaned) - the house-keeping lady was very nice. Amazing view (slightly restricted by street lamp cable, but still very outstanding and I was told that there are other apartments with even better views). Some reviews say the traffic noise can be disturbing as the apartment block is on a road, but this didn't bother me at all. The sound of the sea right outside the window was very relaxing to listen to and it was lovely watching the boats coming in and out of the Souda Bay. I had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

The building is very well kept and makes a really good impression on arrival. The rooms are large and airy, well equipped and very clean, cleaned every day. The bed was very comfortable and the view to the sea just beautiful! The water pressure in the shower is excellent, even if the shower curtain can be a bit annoying at times :-) The hosts are friendly and very helpful even allowing us to check out an hour later and also organising a taxi to pick us up. The area is surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches and there are Tavernas galore. One of our favourites was Kimata just a 5 minute walk away. Also Cactus, next door to Christi Apartments, is wonderful for breakfast. We truly enjoyed our stay at Christi Apartments and in Kalyves - efcharistó para poli!

We got a nice apartment in the middle floor. The view from the balcony was stunning. The apartment was cool, for most of the time we did not even need to turn on the air conditioning (our stay was in July). The apartment was clean and equipped with everything that a tourist may need. The hotel service cleaned our apartment every day and even changed towels and bed linen few times during our stay. The hosts were very nice and helpful. They recommended us some quiet beaches that we loved the most at whole Crete. Location is great, close to the beaches and to the center of Kalyves. Kalyves is a charming place for those who seek authentic Cretan surroundings.

The owners were really friendly and so helpful. No issues on organising taxis for me to and from the airport. The room was really clean and is literally on the sea. You can literally hear the sea crashing on the rocks as you sleep. The room is spacious and has a little kitchenette which does the job. For the money you pay this is definitely worth it and a little more. The view in the morning is amazing and the sunset in the evening is stunning as you can see from my attached picture. The room is basic butt. I've tried other locations in Kalyves and this by far has the best view of the sea and I will be coming back again next year in 2024.

It is just one long room and so it's good if you spend a lot of your days out travelling and sightseeing, then this isn't an issue. This isn't really somewhere where in the night time you can just sit and relax as it is one long room. But I don't see this as a problem as you are paying a lot less than some other complexes nearby. As mentioned again, I will definitely be coming here again in 2024 as the view of the sea is out of this world.

Quiet village. very beautiful sea view. you can see on the balcony to eat and admire sunsets and sunrises.

I won't say I didn't like it, but it's best to rent a car and drive around the island. We couldn't get a car, we flattered ourselves by taxis to get to cities where we could walk and see something. In this village, you will only enjoy the beach

The place was very clean and it has everything you need, even for longer stays. Plus, the se iew was excellent. The apartments are conveniently located, close to the beach, with enough bars and restaurants to choose from. Besides, Michalis was very nice and helpful. He offered me guidance for the buses, and booked a trip to Elafonisi for me.

Location was excellent. The sea view from the balcony was amazing! We could hear the swells in our apartment while sleeping. <3 The room was very clean and the owners are very polite and helpful.

There wasn't enough space for clothes and other belongings in the room (we were three people). The mattress of the bed was a little stiff for our taste.

I was actually looking only for a small apartment to sleep 2 days next to chania, and when i came to the apartment i was surprised how big it was, its much bigger than it looks on the photos! also we had a balcony with a view over the whole ocean in front of us, so beautiful. good shower, comfortable beds, very clean. the man on the reception was also very friendly. all this for such a cheap price, wow!!

Good price in quieter area of town. 10 minute walk to the centre. Nearby are beaches and cafe/restaurants/bar. Almy taverna on the beach provided excellent food. Weather excellent in June, a nice relaxing week.

Maybe a bit nearer town would have been good but not much of a gripe. Very good value for a week on the beach.
