The feeling of opening the balcony door, at that very moment the body and mind relaxes. We have returned to this place as for us it's our thing. We are not after big hotels, pools , parties etc, and this apt and village fulfills our needs. Seaview and listening to the waves, not in the very center but not far either, basic but very clean, able to make breakfast or more, if so wanted. We just pressed oranges for fresh juice..as short stay. 2 cafes for eg. breakfast just nearly at doorstep.

Very clean, contains all of the required stuff for a simple but comfortable living. Fantastic view from the balcony, location is very good: close to the beach, several taverns and Synka Supermarket in short walking distance. Very friendly people, I highly recommend and would choose it for the next trip. Thanks to Michalis for the welcoming hospitality and to the lovely lady who cleaned the apartment every day.

All was good enough. As a perfectionist in ergonomics I would maybe add more wall hooks in the bathroom and in the entrance area to hang a beach bag, and a big plastic bowl in the kitchen to make salads.

Excellent location. You are only 500 meters from a lovely sandy beach which is quieter than the main beach (which is about 15 minute walk away). As well as having a big supermarket nearby too, which comes in handy with self catering. The balcony- wow! Every morning waking up to the Greek sea was something special, watching the sunset and the colours of the sky was magic every night. Very comfy balcony furniture too. Such an amazing view any time of day. The apartment- super clean! Cleaner came in daily to empty bins and tidy. Everything you need for a self catering holiday was there. The bathroom- I know some Greek apartment bathrooms can be a bit hit and miss, however this one had a shower tray with a shower curtain and a shower holder (I’ve been to Greek apartments where you have to hold the shower head to shower) The staff- so friendly and helpful, they were great with communications before the trip and organised a taxi transfer to and from the airport. When we arrived, they took the time to show us around the apartment and I felt they were always approachable if we needed them. Overall.. I loved my stay here. Would highly recommend to people. Great location with beautiful Greek views of the sea. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our room had everything we needed for a few days holiday. We liked the location as it is central to visit any other part of the island. It also right in front of the beach so you have an amazing view specially when you wake up early in the morning (see the photo). Staff was really really helpful giving directions anytime via WhatsApp or at the reception. The people who cleaned the apartment also did the dishes everyday which was not needed but still helpful. I saw some reviews of people complaining about the noise during the night because it is just next to the street. This does not bothered us as we were so tired every night but it might bother some people who have trouble sleeping. For us it was not an issue.

We've stayed here before and love coming back. It's a beautiful location right on the waterfront, with spectacular sea views from every apartment. The staff are wonderful, and the apartment was spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and well equipped with a kitchenette including pots, pans, cutlery, stove, fridge, etc. We spent hours on the balcony enjoying the views and the sea breezes. The apartments are well designed to catch these breezes, so we were able to keep the doors and windows open most of the time even though it was 30+ degrees, and we had the option of air conditioning when it got too hot. We stayed for almost three weeks and could easily have stayed much longer.

Other guests spoil the peace these days by sitting on the balcony and using their phones as loudspeakers, but of course that's not the hotel's fault.

Fantastic welcoming hosts who genuinely cared that my stay was a good one and were keen to ask as to whether everything was as required. Extremely clean with crisp fresh sheets and towels which were replaced mid-stay. Apartment serviced daily (bins emptied, floors swept, surfaces cleaned) - the house-keeping lady was very nice. Amazing view (slightly restricted by street lamp cable, but still very outstanding and I was told that there are other apartments with even better views). Some reviews say the traffic noise can be disturbing as the apartment block is on a road, but this didn't bother me at all. The sound of the sea right outside the window was very relaxing to listen to and it was lovely watching the boats coming in and out of the Souda Bay. I had an extremely comfortable and relaxing stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

The building is very well kept and makes a really good impression on arrival. The rooms are large and airy, well equipped and very clean, cleaned every day. The bed was very comfortable and the view to the sea just beautiful! The water pressure in the shower is excellent, even if the shower curtain can be a bit annoying at times :-) The hosts are friendly and very helpful even allowing us to check out an hour later and also organising a taxi to pick us up. The area is surrounded by beautiful sandy beaches and there are Tavernas galore. One of our favourites was Kimata just a 5 minute walk away. Also Cactus, next door to Christi Apartments, is wonderful for breakfast. We truly enjoyed our stay at Christi Apartments and in Kalyves - efcharistó para poli!

We really liked the accommodation. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. The sea view was amazing.The host was very nice and helpful. We stayed only one night before our flight. The drive to the airport took about 30 minutes. The Wi-Fi was strong and the water pressure in the shower was super strong. We were really happy with our stay and we will definitely come back.

We got a nice apartment in the middle floor. The view from the balcony was stunning. The apartment was cool, for most of the time we did not even need to turn on the air conditioning (our stay was in July). The apartment was clean and equipped with everything that a tourist may need. The hotel service cleaned our apartment every day and even changed towels and bed linen few times during our stay. The hosts were very nice and helpful. They recommended us some quiet beaches that we loved the most at whole Crete. Location is great, close to the beaches and to the center of Kalyves. Kalyves is a charming place for those who seek authentic Cretan surroundings.

Quiet village. very beautiful sea view. you can see on the balcony to eat and admire sunsets and sunrises.

I won't say I didn't like it, but it's best to rent a car and drive around the island. We couldn't get a car, we flattered ourselves by taxis to get to cities where we could walk and see something. In this village, you will only enjoy the beach
