This is our second time here and very much enjoyed our stay again. The family are wonderful, so accommodating. We arrived very early and they worked hard to get our room ready well ahead of the usual check in time. The location is perfect, providing a much needed calm atmosphere. They have also added a pool bar since our last visit which has a good choice of drinks and food. The pool is lovely and clean, and a decent size. Will always stay here when visiting this side of Crete.

Only negative was we requested a double bed and we got a twin pushed together. The bedframe was quite large so there was a decent sized gap between the two beds which isn't great for a couple who want to cuddle in the night!

The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of excellent restaurants and the archaeological site of Aptera (a few kilometres away). The swimming pool was excellent, and the staff were both friendly and professional. The apartment was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay.

The apartment has an open-plan layout with no separation between the bedroom and living area, which can be inconvenient for families. Several items, particularly in the bathroom, were in need of maintenance. The kitchen was very small and poorly equipped, although I didn’t actually use it during my stay.

The Areti was a very nice place to stay. It’s out in the country (nice and quiet) 24 minutes from downtown Chania. The rooms have views over looking the water. The room was nice and spacious and clean. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. There are a couple of restaurants about 5 minutes away that are pretty good. You will pass them on the way up to the hotel. Highly recommend for your stay in the Chania area

The pool was the very big advantage of the appartment (big for 5-6 family, good for small kids and one side with 3m depth). The pool was open even on the evenig with nice lighting. The appartment was new (less than 10 years old). Separation was good from other apartments. Everthig was clean and maintained. Staff were helpful.

Even the sea seems close, the aparthotel is on the top of the hill, vehicles has to be used to any purpose....

Spacious room, balcony with lovely view. Very friendly staff. Fantastic pool with poolside cafe/bar. The room was cleaned and beds made every day - which was more than expected.

The fridge was in a poor state of repair - although functional. The bed was a little too firm - although I accept this is down to personal preference. The water pressure on the bathroom taps was poor although it was fine in the shower.

The place is amazing! The room was so spacious and had a large balcony with amazing views over the sea. The air con was very powerful. The area was really quiet and peaceful which was a lovely contrast to Chania. The grounds were beautifully maintained and the pool area was brilliant, such a large pool and plenty of really good quality sun beds. There’s the option to order food throughout the day which was always very delicious. The staff were also very friendly, they even gave us a free parasol to keep for the week for when we went to beaches, so thoughtful! 100% would recommend, the place completely exceeded our expectations and we were sad to leave.

The bed was a little hard so could’ve been comfier.

My girls were so excited about the pool and location we could have stayed for a week! Rooms are a bit outdated (mattresses are hard) but absolutely massive with plenty of space along with a fully equipped kitchen. Phenomenal value ❤️ The pool bar is another treat with delicious food prepared to order. They look after each guest like family!

Beautiful views from seaview rooms. Very nice and clean rooms. Would recommend and stay again. Specially great that this is a pet friendly hotel. Liked everything about it. Staff very friendly!

The other tourists and that has nothing to with this place but to those people. They didn't think about other guests at all. They went and put their towels early in the morning and reserved those few sunbeds all to them self. Towels sat there and these people went how they wanted out of the pool area. Middle aged people and behave like this. Hotel should not allow people to do this. Staff was very very friendly, only the lady, I think maybe the mother could be not so nice. Asked for taxi and she just gave the number to figure out ourself but we had problem since the taxi company claimed there are 2 hotels by same name in this area. There ain't. The daughter was nice and helped us with that. Man (son?) extremely nice.

The hotel is very nicely situated overlooking the bay and the mountains and is very quiet. We particularly liked the pool and the amazing breakfast that showcased local foods. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The owner has planted rare fruit trees and flowers from Crete around the hotel which we really enjoyed.

The bathroom was a bit dated, but apart from this everything was really pleasant.

The location and the views from the hotel were amazing. Calm and quiet place on a hill (renting a car to easily get there is necessary). The pool area was never crowded. Hotel staff was really friendly. There was a pool bar where you could order drinks and snacks. There were also couple of nice tavernas in the village nearby. Really relaxing atmosphere!
