We had a pleasant surprise with how good the room was here. Although we only stayed for one night before departing the island, the experience was excellent. The room was clean, and the location was convenient. There are restaurants and a bakery nearby, including one that opens at 5 AM, which was great for us as we had an early flight. The hotel is also well-positioned near the port. Overall, a very nice stay and highly recommended.

One minor issue was finding the entrance, as it was a bit difficult based on the booking location provided. Updating the directions or adding clearer signage could improve this experience :)

The property was really clean. Every day we had new clean towels, the rubbish bins was cleaned. The breakfast was good for the value. It was really simple: hot sandwiches, fruits, coffee and fresh orange juices, eggs, but it was as really good! We really liked the sandwiches with whole grain bread! In the bathroom there was shampoo and hair conditioner. The conditioner was the best I have tried on my hair! I actually have bought the same one. Really good quality!

We got the room to the main street with a good view, but the street was really loud at night. Actually for us it wasn't any problem since we were so tired after exploring the island so the noise in the street didn't bother us. It's not a minus, but some people might don't like it.

We arrived very late (even later than planned) due to a flight delay but the host was on-hand to show us to our room. We only stayed for one night on our way elsewhere but it was a good night's sleep in a convenient location. The room was spotless, and had a selection of drinks (including raki) waiting for us. Parking is easy out the front. Very quiet despite the central location, and very well equipped.

Not much light in our room; only a small window which gave little light, and there was no view at all. The bathroom had a large step from the bedroom but it wasn't a problem at all. Please don't be put off!

We needed a base before a very late evening flight & the hotel was very accommodating to an early check in. Lovely large & comfy double bed. Nice products in the bathroom. Access to large sunny roof terrace was nice.

There was a kettle but no cups/mugs. As others have mentioned, the stairs are steep and tricky with luggage. The lady who checked us in was a little offhand.

We spent a week in Maria's apartment, and we were very good. The room is wide and bright, and it also has air conditioning. Under the apartment, there is a parking place reserved for the clients. The place is ideal because it lies halfway between the Matala's beaches and the Kommos'. For those who want to see cultural places, Pitsidia is an hour by car from Iraklion, the capital of the island, 50 minutes from Knossos, 30 minutes from the archaeological site of Gortys and the Museum of Messara, 15 minutes from the famous Phaistos.

We only used the room to relax in the afternoon before our 10pm ferry trip! It was nice and comfortable. We were able to have showers and get ready prior to our trip, which was great! There was a lovely roof terrace where we were able to chill out for the afternoon. You could see the ferry from our balcony and it was only 5 minutes walk away! It is a perfect option for anyone catching a ferry! We only regretted that we didn't arrive a day earlier, and we would do that if we come back to Chania again! The apartment management company wanted €110 for us to have a late checkout in our Chania accommodation so it was a no brainer to pay €40 for this room so close to the port!

Excellent value for money. The room was clean and well thought out. Souda is a working town but has plenty of shops and restaurants and an attractive square leading down to the sea, directly in front of the hotel. We were fortunate to have a room on the first floor with a balcony looking across to the square and the sea. Parking on the street was easy.

Great place if you have an early or late flight. We came in at 02:30 and the lady showed us to our room. Then we had breakfast at 08:30 next morning and it was great. So a quick stay for us and great value for the price.

Like others have said, the stairs are quite steep so if you have issues walking or heavy luggage you might struggle.

This nice and small hotel is in the very center of Souda next to supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and restaurants, with view at the Port. Parking was no issue for us as there was always a free space. The Landlady is very kind and prepared delicious breakfast for us in the rooftop with fresh orange juice, toasts, greek pies and coffee. There was a bottle of white wine and tsikoudia in the fridge for free! She also did our laundry when we needed it! Thank you Margianna! The room was not big but sufficient and clean. It was a great choice for us and I absolutely recommend it to anyone!

The place was amazing and totally worth it, the staff was kind and extremely accommodating, the room was exactly what it was advertised on the site and there was a roof garden directly next to the room I stayed which was the best thing each morning for breakfast. Definitely recommend it and definitely would book again.

The shower was a bit small for a couple but definitely good for showers, just not for the fun time showers, so not really a bad thing.
