We had a pleasant surprise with how good the room was here. Although we only stayed for one night before departing the island, the experience was excellent. The room was clean, and the location was convenient. There are restaurants and a bakery nearby, including one that opens at 5 AM, which was great for us as we had an early flight. The hotel is also well-positioned near the port. Overall, a very nice stay and highly recommended.

One minor issue was finding the entrance, as it was a bit difficult based on the booking location provided. Updating the directions or adding clearer signage could improve this experience :)

Absolutely ideal, comfortable 1 night stay after a late flight. The room was quiet, really well equipped, comfortable and in a perfect location just off the main road. We checked in late after our flight got in at 21.50 and we're shown to our apartment and told everything we need to know. We didn't cook in the kitchen but it was very well equipped. Would definitely stay again when in Souda.

Close to the airport. Good for a one-night stay. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Steep staircase leading to the rooms. The furniture in the room was already a little worn-out but the room itself was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. Decent breakfast. Astonishing view out of the balcony onto the seaport. Parking space to be found in the street directly in front of the hotel or nearby.

The property was great for the little town it’s in. We had a great view of the ocean and a little balcony to enjoy it! We arrived early and the host made a point to finish cleaning our room so we could check in! That was awesome! We stayed here after our hike to the Samaria Gorge because it was a perfect place to leave the next day from Chania to Heraklion.

The property was really clean. Every day we had new clean towels, the rubbish bins was cleaned. The breakfast was good for the value. It was really simple: hot sandwiches, fruits, coffee and fresh orange juices, eggs, but it was as really good! We really liked the sandwiches with whole grain bread! In the bathroom there was shampoo and hair conditioner. The conditioner was the best I have tried on my hair! I actually have bought the same one. Really good quality!

We got the room to the main street with a good view, but the street was really loud at night. Actually for us it wasn't any problem since we were so tired after exploring the island so the noise in the street didn't bother us. It's not a minus, but some people might don't like it.

We arrived very late (even later than planned) due to a flight delay but the host was on-hand to show us to our room. We only stayed for one night on our way elsewhere but it was a good night's sleep in a convenient location. The room was spotless, and had a selection of drinks (including raki) waiting for us. Parking is easy out the front. Very quiet despite the central location, and very well equipped.

Not much light in our room; only a small window which gave little light, and there was no view at all. The bathroom had a large step from the bedroom but it wasn't a problem at all. Please don't be put off!

We needed a base before a very late evening flight & the hotel was very accommodating to an early check in. Lovely large & comfy double bed. Nice products in the bathroom. Access to large sunny roof terrace was nice.

There was a kettle but no cups/mugs. As others have mentioned, the stairs are steep and tricky with luggage. The lady who checked us in was a little offhand.

Excellent value for money. The room was clean and well thought out. Souda is a working town but has plenty of shops and restaurants and an attractive square leading down to the sea, directly in front of the hotel. We were fortunate to have a room on the first floor with a balcony looking across to the square and the sea. Parking on the street was easy.

We spent a week in Maria's apartment, and we were very good. The room is wide and bright, and it also has air conditioning. Under the apartment, there is a parking place reserved for the clients. The place is ideal because it lies halfway between the Matala's beaches and the Kommos'. For those who want to see cultural places, Pitsidia is an hour by car from Iraklion, the capital of the island, 50 minutes from Knossos, 30 minutes from the archaeological site of Gortys and the Museum of Messara, 15 minutes from the famous Phaistos.

Everything was as described. Excellent value for money, you cannot get better for this price. And you get a view. Relatively close to airport and right at the port (for those requiring this feature)
