Nothing at all

The apart hotel is across the street from the sea. It has all the utility you may need and also provides cleaning services if you want. The balconies (2) have a view at the sea, and they provide AC and a safe to keep your valuables. It also has an amazing rooftop terrace with a view over the golf and courtyard facing the mountains. The host was very nice providing info about the local transport and calling a taxi for me at departure. I really enjoyed my stay.

And staying at kalyves bay was a perfect location right opposite the beach with the sound of the waves crash on the beach was perfect.. The family run business was really amazing They look after you. I'll definitely be coming back. Thank you once again for a brilliant holiday.

The apartment had a nice bedroom with balcony and a smaller kitchen and living room. It was well equipped. Parking was right outside and it is a short walk to the centre of the village and even closer to the beach which is just across the road.

We were there in November and the unit faced north with a hill behind and thus we did not get any sun on the unit and it was cold. Unfortunately, the combined AC/heater was not adequate to heat up the apartment to a desirable temperature. I expect the location is perfect in the summer as lots of shade but not ideal for the low season.

This was our second time staying at this property and everything was perfect. The rooms are immaculately clean and bedding and towels were changed three times during our five night stay. The apartments are ideally situated at the edge of the village being a short walk from the supermarket and beach in one direction and the centre of Kalyves in the other. We look forward to returning again in the future.

nothing to dislike

Our room at Kalyves Bay was comfortable and well equipped. The location is great with a less than five minute walk into Kalyves town centre or a short drive to Chania or other nearby villages. Stelios and his family were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice water views. Separate bedroom. Clean. Good wifi. Kitchenette with oven plus utensils. Good size, nice homely feel. Across the road from the water and a short walk to a swimming area. Selection of shops about1km away.

Air con didn’t seem to warm the rooms very much…ok but not great. Shower water only warm in the morning.

A peaceful spot with sea views in Kalyves. We chose to stay here rather than Chania, and it was a nice little town with good beaches and great food options.

My only complaint is that public transport in Kalyves was hopeless. The bus stop for Heraklion and Chania is over 1km out of town. We did that once and that was enough. Then caught taxis.

Nice old-fashioned holiday pension-like apartment building, very clean. Every apartment is self-contained with common sitting areas at each story. They provide you with a fresh bottle of mineral water from the fridge. Beds are quite comfortable. Location was the best, close to the sea but a bit away from the centre. Breakfast at the nearest cafe overlooking the sea was lovely and hearty.

The hotel personnel is friendly. The room is clean and well equipped. There are a lot of bars and restaurants in the walking distance. Also it should be noted that the supermarket is near the hotel and the room has everything to cook. As for the beach it takes about 15 minutes to get there.
