The pool area is beautiful with places of sun and shade. Its well looked after and a great area, particularly if you have young children.

We had a one bedroomed apartment which was really a large studio with a partition curtain. There is very little privacy. Due to the size of the room the single air-conditioning unit wasn't sufficient. There are lots of glass windows (that don't open) and this raises the temperature in the room to uncomfortable levels first thing in the morning. Better air-conditioning and windows/doors with fly screens (there are just two small ones with them fitted) would make for a more pleasant sleep as there are a lot of mosquitos that come into the room

The property is in a very quiet location on the edge of Vamos village and only a few minutes walk from the centre. My apartment was spacious, well appointed and private, everything I could have wanted. The owner made me most welcome, gave me some wonderful cakes and biscuits and she speaks perfect English. Communications prior to my stay were excellent including the arrangement of a late arrival. If you are coming to Vamos then this accommodation would be a good choice and I can recommend it without hesitation. Thank you for looking after me!

These apartments are quiet in a lovely setting of garden and with a good pool in front of them. This makes them ideal for a relaxing holiday. Vamos is central for all the beaches in the area so you can do different ones each day. The town of Vamos has a bakery, coffee shops, good restaurants and two small supermarkets. The Family who own these appartments are very welcoming.

You can stay in these apartments without a car as the beaches can be reached easily by taxi a few times in your stay but obviously a car makes this easier .

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Vamos Palace Apartments, for three days for our friends’ wedding. The hotel is a short walk (under 10 minutes) to the centre of town. The rooms are clean and comfortable, if a little dated, but with air conditioning and are very quiet. The grounds are immaculately kept. The family who owns and runs it (Helen especially) were exceptionally welcoming and helpful — they made us feel right at home. The pool is big and refreshing and gets great sunshine. There is ample free parking across the street. We would absolutely stay here again!

An amazing hideaway with a fabulous pool. The grounds are very well maintained, and there is plenty of space with plenty of sunbeds. The rooms are really big, comfortable and the aircon was very much appreciated! The shining star of the place is the family who run it, so very friendly, generous and helpful.

Absolutely nothing

This are excellent apartments have a super swimming pool and are in a good location near to the Vamos centre. The rooms are large, bathroom a bit small with large balconies. The staff are very welcoming.

Not the fault of the owners or staff but we had the misfortune of a very rude guest next door to us.

Nothing with the apartments just as with everything in Vamos a car is needed. In saying that due to Cretes history, a car is required anyway.

Spacious room, excellent pool, nice location (easy to get to town as well as the village neighborhood). a touch of Crete tradition with the room's fabrics. Eleni, Leonidas and Stavros are superb hosts! It's a family business--they live there and take great pride in their lodging and make hospitality a priority.

The staff is really nice and welcoming. The swimming pool is amazing.

There are no blinders in the room, only seethrough curtains, so it entered a lot of light in the morning.
