Beautiful setting, bungalow with sea view, large domaine, most of staff very polite and friendly especially at reception and breakfast; Captain restaurant serves high quality food, private beach

Equipment in rooms not revised and outdated (many lights not working, trail not working and not fixed when we mentioned); overall looks tired and many areas not cleaned; staff very friendly except one very rude who treated us very disrespectfully and gave us a real hard time for unknown reason, her attitude was a shock to us ; if you don t have a car, you are stuck as nowhere to go nearby (or dependent on taxis which double charge and restaurants which are overpriced)

Great breakfast. A lot of wonderful breads and omlets..... Good and free espresso and all other kind of coffee... Great pool. Empty most of the day...

Kids-Club - closed Monday.... WHY? We pay for Monday too... Prices of hotel-reasurants - too high. After short test - ee went to eat out of the hotel. Neer by there are a lot of Greece reasturants... Order UBER, or request reception to call a taxi... its 5-10 Euro for the 4-6 minutes close res. and 10-20 Euro for the 15 minutes driving... Prices of other services (beach food / drinks) are very high...

Lagonissi is an amazing complex. The main beach has lovely sea and it’s almost never crowded. It is the whole peninsula so when you walk around you have the best view. You can train with the best view. You can take a dip from anywhere you like, not only the main beach. There is wild sea around the complex to be enjoyed. The taverna by the sea side and Ouzeri restaurant both are very good. Staff is positive and helpful.

We had an unpleasant situation about the room but Katerina helped us a lot and sorted the issue immediately by making us and our friends very happy. Breakfast buffet could be better (the coffee is super good). I cannot find anything else. Us and our friends are already planning our next stay here. It’s a place to visit every year.

Beach was excellent, and the food in all the facilities was very good. One restaurant, the Ouzeri, was a standout. The staff throughout was excellent.

Well, the devil is in the details. The stairways outside our bungalow were not kept clean, and the grass area in front of the two bungalows was dead, like straw. Some kind of artificial turf would’ve been better. Finally, the bathrooms could use some work. The cold water was consistently warm to hot. There was also an odor in the bathroom that we never could get rid of. Sometimes it was bad.

We got an upgrade and it was unexpected and fantastic. Dinner was great, location was great, all fantastic and really appreciated.

I do have to say on our last night which was Saturday evening, we went to the front desk to ask for a late check out. There was a man there who wouldn’t speak to me, he would only speak to my partner “man to man”. It was very uncomfortable. I would ask a question and he would look at my partner and answer to him. Everything was great apart from this and unfortunately made me and my partner consider complaining right away to a manager but we didn’t want to ruin our last night together.

It’s a whole island! It’s so beautiful and has so many beaches, restaurants and other facilities! We got the bungalows and besides all the beaches on the property, we had our own private beach by the bungalows. It is perfect for relaxing

They could have a beach club with music and also the room furnitures were a bit outdated but other than that everything was perfect.

Beach bungalow location was great. Peaceful. Right on the beach. Club cart service was very good taking you around the resort. Room service food exceptional as was all the restaurants we went to. Breakfast was very good with lots of high quality options. Reception staff were warm and friendly. Cart drivers great guys and friendly Kohylia restaurant was amazing- staff friendly food exceptional and warm ambience. Ouzeri - our waitress was great. A little bit of a stuffy atmosphere but pleasant. Very formal at times and some staff aloof.

Grand Beach was lovely. Bit disorganized with the plazza bed reservations as we had to move a few times. But nothing to complain about too much. Don't need a bed reservation for other locations so I will know for next time. Pillows weren't great very flat. Only 2 per bed

The villas are amazing. The first room we received wasn't to the Standart but after the upgrade it was an amazing experience.

The rooms that are outside the premise next to the beach - outdated, the grass wasn't trimmed and there wasn't jumk on the pathway

GRL was a fabulous place to visit. It sits on a little peninsula a little south-west of Athens. We had spent a few days in Athens followed by a few days at GRL on the beach. We had a couple of issues initially, but the manager soon addressed these resulting in a good end to a holiday of a lifetime. All the staff were super friendly on the resort, including the team refilling Nespresso capsules, Cabby Car drivers, housekeeping and restaurant staff. The food at the resort restaurants was amazing - but more so, due to their location, views, and service - these meals were an 'experience' - However, they were not cheap but you need to recognise you are paying for more than a meal! Above all, the service was excellent - could not fault how we were looked after by the Manager, Panagiotis Lachanas, and all the staff. Good job and thank you for making this an experience of a lifetime.

We stayed in two different bungalows, the original ones were good, with idillic views and 'walk-on' beaches direct from the front door, but the need some maintenance, both inside and outside. The resort are aware of this so I would encourage travellers to check which bungalows they are in. As you move more inwards towards the centre of the resort, the quality and standard of the bungalows is exceptional. We moved after day 1 and the difference was significant. I believe the standard of the Mediterranean Bungalow is far superior to the Deluxe Bungalows, from what we saw. So, if you can make sure you go for Med bungalows over the Deluxe or anything above that, you are onto a winner!
