Great location in Kavala's old city - you can walk everywhere. We maybe got lucky, but we easily found a street parking spot. Self-check-in and check-out were a breeze. The building interior and the apartment have a striking design that stands out and feels special. The view over the port was nice - definitely recommended. Very comfortable bed as well. It's a beautiful place with a surprisingly special ambiance.

Be advised that there are some 40 steep steps from the street level down to the building entrance. We didn't mind it at all, but I can see how someone with reduced mobility or strength will have a really hard time going up or down. It's really okay; just be mindful of this.

Amazing oriental decoration, big size of the room, good facilities, good location.

It was described as garden view room, but actually the garden was a small enclosed space next to the stairs.

The apartment was very clean. There was a hairdryer in the room. Also the towels were big and comfortable. The sheets and towels were all extremely clean and had an amazing smell. Kudos to the laundry service they are using. The location wasn’t bad, although there were some stairs leading to the apartment which may not be noticed when looking at the photos.

There isn’t a parking space within 800 m of the property but the woman, responsible for checking us in didnt let us know. When we asked her where to park she ignored our message and didn’t respond. The same woman also didn’t speak any English. The bed had that sinking feeling which made it extremely uncomfortable. Also it was rather small. The person who is responsible for the purple color in the bathroom of the apartment we were staying in shouldn’t be choosing any wall colors for the rest of his life for sure :)

The stay at this property was fantastic. It is a very, very beautiful house - even much more inspiring than it appears in the pictures. The first floor's courtyard is (literary) part of the old city walls, amazing experience to observe from there the sea below. Romantic ambience I could not describe good enough. A fairy tale with all modern facilities and amenities. Excellent restaurants nearby, city landmarks within walking distance. We all are very much looking forward to our next visit there.

The location is very good, the view from our window towards the port was amazing! Very convenient place to stay if you have to catch a ferry in the morning.

I didn't receive the self checkin information only after calling the property, after we arrived. The curtains need to be changed , they look pretty old and the shadowing is is not very good.

Excellent location. It is very hard to find such gems in the middle of the season at the exact center of the city. We were happy to park out car nearby, but other have to be aware of the fact that it is very difficult to park in the Old town.

Having in mind that the building is old, I personally didn't like all those people walking on the old wooden floors at night. I was heating every step. Despite this everything was perfect. Even the area was not so noisy, as I expected. The little scooters didn't even bothered me.

Great location in the old town of Kavali, right on the old castle wall with great terrace and view to the harbour. It’s close to very good restaurant, bar and gift shops. The checkin is easy.

The parking in the old town is not allowed, but you can park on a payed parking next to the harbour and walk 6-8 minutes.

The location is fantastic and the room is extremely comfortable. We loved the decorative touches and comfortable bed.

Communication was poor. The check-in information was not provided until 2:30pm on the day of arrival, despite the fact I sent a reminder the previous day, and they assured me it would be sent "in the morning".

The view from the room was incredible. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Just to wake up to this view again, I would choose to stay here when I come back.

You need to go up and down stairs to access the building. I personally enjoyed entering an old house, but consider this if you are elderly or disabled.

This place is a gem. Everything is perfect, the design, the matress and the view is spectacular. If you come to Kavala, don't hesitate and book this. The owner was super nice, she gave us the larger room with sea view because was not booked in the night we stayed in. The location is in the city center but in a very quiet and romantic area. We really loved our stay and for sure will come back. ❤️

We loved everything
