We stayed at Kalidon Panorama Hotel for a week to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. From the breakfast to the cleanliness of the rooms, the stunning view to the hospitality of the owner—everything was flawless. The owner is a wonderful person who personally takes care of every detail with years of experience. The staff, especially Maria, Mr.George and the rest of the team, were incredibly kind and attentive. The surprise they prepared for my wife’s birthday showed just how thoughtful the hotel really is. I highly recommend it to anyone—it’s a spotless, peaceful hotel. We’re already looking forward to going back!

Although we had booked a room with a garden view, upon our arrival they upgraded us to a sea view room at no extra charge. We are very grateful for that. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. As a welcome gesture, they had placed a fruit plate in our room, which was a lovely touch. The hotel’s location is quite close to nearby beaches. There’s also a shuttle that picks you up in front of the hotel at certain times and takes you to the beaches. Since the hotel is located on a hill and it takes about 7-8 minutes of uphill walking, we preferred using the shuttle, which made things much easier for us. You can walk to Kokkari center from the hotel in about 15 minutes. On the way back, due to the hill, we took a taxi, which costs between 5 and 7 euros. The hotel’s breakfast was very satisfying, with fresh and delicious products that were constantly replenished. Our stay was a 10 out of 10.

My husband and I along with our adult daughter, who had her own room. next to ours, spent a week at the hotel. It was excellent! As soon as we arrived the welcome was warm and friendly. Maria, the host is happy, kind, friendly and extremely accommodating. In fact all the staff are happy to oblige with any request. The entire hotel has a beautiful, peaceful, romantic, luxurious ambiance. It is apparent that this hotel is run with love. You notice the attention to detail throughout the interior and surrounding gardens and pool area. Breakfast in the morning is set up in a tranquil open air room with a view of the glorious Mediterranean. The pool is large, set up with lounges and umbrellas also with a spectacular view of the ocean and surrounding mountains. This hotel is set slightly higher up and having a car is a bonus. We were very close to several lovely beaches and the local village Kokkari, with plenty of restaurant choices. If you enjoy walking and hiking, there are tracks all around the hotel, where you will discover hidden ruins, churches and exceptional views of the surrounding landscape. We absolutely loved our stay at the Kalidon Panorama Hotel! Highly recommend. We would definitely go back. If you have ever watched the series Hotel Portofino, this is the modern day version.

We stayed at Kalidon Panorama for our first anniversary. And it was awesome from the first moment. The hotel is placed at a panaromic place where you can have a great view and scenery. The rooms are clean and had enough space. The bar and breakfast were more than satisfactory. There is a shuttle to Lemonaki, Tsamadu and Kokkari center four times a day, which make it easier to transfer for those who dont have car. I need to underline the staff. Maria is queen. She helped a lot to make our holiday great. She supported on rental car, taxis etc. She suggested great places and make our last day pragmatic as much as possible allowing us using the shower, towels. I can wholeheartly recommend the hotel and definitely want to come back again.

Maybe there can be one or two more shuttles in the evening to transfer easily out and to the hotel.

I recently stayed at Kalidon Hotel in Kokkari and had a great experience overall. The hotel is beautifully situated near the beach, shops, and restaurants, making it a convenient base for exploring Kokkari. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-furnished, with cozy beds and a nice balcony offering lovely views of the area. The hotel’s shuttle service was a fantastic convenience, especially for getting to close beaches like Tsamadou and Lemonika. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, featuring a wide variety of fresh and tasty options that catered to different preferences—definitely a great start to the day! The staff at Kalidon Hotel were welcoming, friendly, and always ready to assist with recommendations and any needs, making our stay even more enjoyable. Despite the slightly challenging walk, Kalidon Hotel is a great choice with excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful amenities like the shuttle and delicious breakfast. I highly recommend it for those visiting Kokkari and look forward to staying again!

it’s worth noting that the walk to the hotel involves a bit of an incline, which might be slightly challenging for older guests or those with mobility issues, though it’s not a big problem for younger people.

Everything was perfect! Comfortable and clean rooms, very kind people, beautiful view from the room and terrace over de sea in front of Kokkari, the breakfast was nice and the location perfect. Both Maria’s were very helpful at the reception, they even provided tips for activities, hikes and restaurants. Sitting at the terrace in the evening is very relaxing with such a nice view. 10/10

Nothing, everything was good.

The staff was so helpful, and clearly all enjoyed working there. nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent with so many choices and a perfect view of the bay. Our room also had the same view. The room was spacious and had the most comfortable beds. The shower room was beautiful as well, the aircon was just the right temperature. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The pool was excellent and had its own toilets and showers. The shuttle bus to the beaches and village was excellent. It was all perfect and made for a super relaxing holiday

The only thing not available was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but to be fair we didn't miss it, and they offered to provide hot water when ever I wanted it.

This is our 5th trip to Samos, each time we stayed in different part of the island. This is the best place by far.. I cannot say anything negative about this place, it was such a great experience during our stay for three days. Beautifully decorated, clean, modern room, comfortable bed with crispy sheets and a large balcony. Excellent breakfast they provide more choices than you need. Property has breath taking panoramic sea views from everywhere. A short walk to the beach and to town. What makes this place so spacial is the staff they are bang on the ball ,very friendly and a big smile on their faces. But I like to say just a few words about Maria, she will make you feel like you are at home, such a lovely lady she is. Thank you all the staff of Kalidon Panorama for making our stay so special . I had a really nice time at Kalidon Panorama. The bed was super comfy, the hotel was pretty clean, and the staff were really friendly. The breakfast was yummy, and the view was amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Samos. I would stay again next time.

While the location wasn't the best for those who would like to explore the other parts of the island, it was still pretty close to Kokkari.

This in our view is the best hotel on Samos. A lovely elevated view across to Kokari. A perfect room with private balcony. A great bathroom with everything provided. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choices. A lovely pool area and good bar snacks and drinks available all day. A very well run hotel with great and friendly staff.
