Wonderful welcome and briefing by host who is always around. Requests and queries were prompt attended to. Apartment is modern, well equipped and in excellent condition. Bathroom is spacious. Huge windows with View from room and balcony in the living room is just amazing. So glad there is a lift to the apartment. Queen bed is main of 2 single beds which helps us to sleep well with minimal disturbances. Plenty of travel agency around to arrange day tours, supermarkets and souvenir shops. Quiet and nice place to chill and go for walks along the coast.

Wifi connectivity can be better. Insufficient plugs for charging of mobile and electronic devices for 3 of us.

The number one appeal with this property is the location, right on thr beach with the most amazing view from the patio doors, absolutely breathtaking. The apartment itself is large for 2 people and has absolutely everything you could need. A fully stocked functioning kitchen, lovely bathroom/wet room and the most amazing bed I have ever slept on. The hosts were all beyond lovely, friendly and would.go the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Would 100% recommend this apartment and will definitely be coming back.

Nothing at all, all was perfect

Very good direct phone contact with the owner Sonia before arrival. During the stay, the apartments were managed by Despina, who tried to fulfill all, even the smallest wishes. Apartments with a wonderful sea view, and only 20 steps to the beach. They are cleaned 3 times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays); cleanliness 10+. Despite the fact that they are located near the center of Hersonissos, it is a very quiet area. Thank you very much for a lovely stay - we are already thinking of visiting Villa Sonia again.

Nothing - everything was fine.

People who run the business are friendly and nice. Place is clean, has all what you need and quite modern. It is very close to the beach, sea view and here where you could say it's perfect however I can't. See below. This area is nice though and sea is clean. I totally recommend to get here but maybe to be more conscious choosing the area (try to stay far from bars if possible). I tried to be fair to this place itself and rated it based on the conditions apart from the noise that isn't owners fault.

Maybe it's just me but when I am on holidays it's important for me to sleep good and to not have any noise. All places nearby and this particular place are so close to the bars that yes you are literally a few steps away from everything but at night it's NOISY. Music from the bars...what I can say. It killed all positives of this place for me. I can't recommend this area in general especially if you are like me and for you it's important to not be annoyed by random loud music till 11-12 pm. If not - book this particular place, it's a good one with good people and it's not their fault that it is what it is. I still feel like hotel owners could agree with bar owners about loud music if they would want to but maybe majority of tourists like it so they don't care about those who don't.

The location of this property was perfect. It's on the quieter side of the port, across the road from a beach and also within very short walking distance of the beach in front of the Creta Maris resort which has lifeguards. There are several small supermarkets almost next door, and it's not far to walk to the main street (lovely bakeries and bigger supermarkets) or the busier tourist strip on the other side of the port. It was perfect for 2 people, with a kitchenette and seating area, a good sized bedroom with TV, well-fitted bathroom and a HUGE balcony with comfortable seating and lovely views. The balcony benefits from shade, being north-facing. The apartment was clean and well-maintained. There is a small lift. Despina checked us in and was very friendly and helpful, and all the staff in the jewellery shop below were welcoming too. Parking was almost always available on the side street where the entrance is; it was only on the busiest Saturday night when we had to circle the block a couple of times to find a space. We felt safe and welcome here, and couldn't have chosen a better location.

WiFi didn't always reach the far reaches of the huge balcony but there are free access WiFi points at nearby properties that you can search for and use, and the 4G signal was strong.

The apartment was self-catering. It far exceeded my expectations, and after many years of staying in similar properties, the level of facilities was above what I have experienced. The property is modern and well maintained, and has probably been totally renovated in recent times. The room had kitchen facilities, a kettle, hot plates, cooker, microwave grill, coffee maker etc., and a full-sized refrigerator. The w.c./shower facilities were excellent. The welcome extended by the host was warm and genuine. She checked with me a couple of times during my stay to make sure everything was to my liking, but I never felt that my privacy was impinged upon. There was some street noise in the evening, as the resort was getting busier, however the quality of the glazing units kept out all noise. While I didn’t use the air conditioning, it was fitted. Big bonus – there is an elevator serving all floors! Should I ever return to that area I would have no hesitation in booking this property.

Nothing that I could see. The lady runs a good house. A personal opinion. If like me, you are not an adventurer and remain in the same spot for the duration of your holiday, I think it's fair to point out that a short walk away there is many bars, and although there was people of all ages, they are predominately the haunts of 'young people'. There is also many restaurants which don't seem to attract them.

Loved the location, the view was spectacular. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. The apartment was everything we could have asked for. It had everything you needed for 1 weeks stay. The location was perfect, very quiet with a few lovely restaurants on the beach. Just around the corner to loads of bars and clubs if you are looking for something more lively. The shop under the apartments was lovely, we did buy a few pieces of jewellery

only being there for 1 week, this is not long enough for such a beautiful location

We really loved the stay at Villa Sonia - nothing to complain. Just a few humble suggestions from our side - a sponge & cloth in the kitchen would be helpful / few more toiletries like body lotion, conditioner and shower cap would be good / a bit more privacy at balcony would be better because the glass separating both balconies are bit see-through

Amazing location close to everything by foot and yet away from the buzzling crowds. Right in front of the beach! Staff always prompt to help you in any way.

Little issue with the internet connection but I guess even this worked out fine as needed a break from work anyways! Ha ha ha

We had a lovely relaxing two week holiday at Villa Sonia. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, just across the small road to the beach. Fantastic view of the sea from the balcony & every window in the apartment. We will definitely be returning as this place is a gem.

Sometimes we could hear the youngsters returning from the night club in the early hours of the morning.
