Stayed here for a relaxing vacation, and it was the perfect place for that. The location is about 15mins drive from Fira, so best to stay here if you have a car. Plenty of parking, as well as one charging point for EVs. The heating in our hot tub was not working due to a storm the previous day, but the manager offered us an additional room next to ours so we could use the hot tub of that room. Although the hottub in the next room was smaller, but we appreciated the gesture and hospitality (+ a free lunch for the inconvenience).

We loved our stay here. We stayed in a room with a hot tub facing the caldera and it was stunning. The place was so quiet and peaceful and the hot tub was such a highlight and an fab place to watch the sunset. Easy walk to the bus stop so getting around the island was easy and comparatively inexpensive! Breakfast everyday was delicious. Staff were present and attentive also very chill. Would definitely recommend.

There isn’t a huge amount around in terms of dinner options. They do have a restaurant on site but is limited. There is a cute family restaurant in walking distance also.

Wonderful hotel situated on the caldera, offering a breathing view of the volcano. Located in the mid-south of Santorini, it's 7 min away from the airport, beaches, Fira, ancient site, supermarket 2 min away. The pool is spacious and clean and they offer pool towels. Breakfast is sufficient, with a variety of choices, delicious. The place is absolutely quiet, as nothing will ruin your peace. Anything you need will be provided by the absolutely kind and helpful staff. I must also mention that the hair dryer is very strong, perfect for straightening. Toiletries are also fully provided. Daily cleaning and change of towels. If you are looking for a place to stay in Santorini seek no further. That's the perfect one.

The restaurant and bar menu is insanely expensive, but high prices is a general issue in Santorini.

Rooms were exceptionally clean, and cleaned every day. Facilities were great! We stayed in room 15, which had a superb hot tub with a view of the sunset every evening. The staff were amazing. Chris and her team were always attentive, Sofia & Gan were very friendly and dealt with any special requests and travel requirements. A special mention goes to Michael & Ofelia. Michael makes excuisite cocktails and Ofelia cooks authentic dishes straight from the heart. A lovely couple, who looked after us from start to finish! We will return….and soon i hope. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Grand View as it’s one of the best hotels in Greece!

Sunset view is fantastic. All the reviews are true! It is really beautiful! Also, because you are in the quiet area of the island. No such thing as balconies that are shoulder to shoulder. Truly an intimate and secluded beautiful sunset without any tourists around (expect from perhaps some other guests from the hotel). The staff was super nice and helpful. Room was large and everything we needed and nicely decorated. We only stayed one night before we flew back home. We this was the perfect ending to a wonderful vacation! Oh and perfect breakfast also!

If you don’t have a hire car or transport it’s a little far from things but if you have transport organised it’s worth it!!!

The location was perfect for seeing the sunset and looking out over the Caldera. It was also close to the village centre of Megalochhori so there were options for eating and drinking within walking distance. There was also a bus stop close by that took you to Perissa, Akrotiri (prehsitoric ruins) and Fira. The hot tub was great as it was pretty chilly in the mornings and evenings. Breakfast was very nice with a wide choice, although the inside space is very small so you generally had to sit outside and wear a jumper.

I had been told by email that I could book a wine tour through the reception but when I asked they said it was only possible to visit a winery as part of a wider tour that took in other attractions. I just wanted to visit wineries. The bed was not very comfortable. We asked if there was a way to turn the hot tub off to save energy when we were not using it but they said it wasn't possible so it was heated 24/7. Their attitude towards sustainability and energy/water conservation seems to be lacking considering the current climate crisis.

The hotel as a whole. Placed in a very good location for exploring all the island, not far from the main villages and interesting places. All the hotel´s facilities are amazing, from the rooms to the swimming pool area...but above all of these, I can say that the view to the Santorini caldera is stunning.

The only point that I would highlight is the low quality of the dinner in the hotel´s restaurant, at least in our case. Did not match the rest of services provided. Maybe it was an isolated mistake...

Loved our stay. We were welcomed by Chrisoula with a surprise upgrade to 3 nights in the Villa with private pool and then 4 nights in the honeymoon suite. I was speechless, as it was stunning with an infinity pool, jacuzzi and a large outdoor area. We spent 3 days in the most relaxing surroundings, with stunning caldera views. We didn’t leave the Villa for 3 days as it was so magical. We ordered dinner and ate at the outdoor dining area, watching the sunset each night. Staff were so friendly, creating a family atmosphere. Ophelia, the chef, making us feel so welcome. Food was amazing, tastes of Santorini. Everything was spotlessly clean. Great location, providing stunning views and a sense of peace and calm. Walking distance to beautiful Megalochori and the heart of Santorini. Most places were within 15 minute drive.

Nothing Loved it.

Very quiet hotel with extraordinary view. What we most valued was that it was away from the busy center, yet easy access to the Caldera. We opted for dinner at the pool, which was fantastic at sunset. The small village of Megalochori was a short walk of 10mins, and there we found amazing small streets, cobbled walkways and village center for drinks. Breakfast by the pool was great too. The road to the beaches on the east/south of the island is right outside. Highly recommend this location if you are planning on staying a few days on Santorini.
