I knew the views of the caldera would be amazing from the pictures, but they are even better in person. The room was great (our 6-year-old slept on the sofa bed, which was perfect). Our porch, table, and plunge pool were so great that it was almost hard to leave the room! The shared pool was great too--never busy. And the communication and service were amazing. We used them to arrange transfers from the Ferry and then to the airport. They even tracked down the booster seat we accidentally left in the transfer van! A huge thank you to all the staff for an amazing time!

Breakfast order was missing something every day. We didn’t realise until the day before we left that we had use of a hotel pool too - there was only a double sun lounger at our apartment so it was a struggle to sit outside with a family of 4. We would have used the hotel pool if we had realised. Apartment not stocked well - only 2 glasses / 2 mugs. No bottled water available

The hotel is in the best location for unobstructed views of the caldera and sunset—more privacy than you would ordinarily get at a Santorini hotel. Imerovigli is the best place to stay. A lot of restaurants. Road by the hotel, walking path to Fira. Bus stop 5-minute walk. Across from a market with everything you could need if you forgot something. Pool and lounge chairs with beautiful views. The staff were so helpful and friendly. THE VIEW!!!!!!

The hotel is a bit run down and needs updating. Peeling paint, patio furniture is old and worn out. The furniture in the room is plastic patio furniture. I did not like the layout of the rooms. Breakfast is in the room but you need to reserve a time in advance. No restaurant although there are many next door. So many stairs but that is how it is in Santorini. Not for people with any walking problems.

Location and views are good. It’s quiet. Way too many cats on the property- but that’s true all over Greece. It was winter so the market next door was closed. Would’ve definitely been great to have it open. It’s very close to the bus stop - so commuting up and down the island via bus was easy. Walking to Fira - about 30 odd minutes - but lovely walk on a mild weather day. The hotel manager arranged pickup and drop off from the airport- about 30 euros each way - uber would be slightly more expensive. He also recommended and arranged a sailing cruise - which I thought was pretty good. Breakfast was great - and always on time. All in all a good cozy stay.

Some bathroom fixtures and jacuzzi fittings are slightly rusty - not too bad though - considering this is normal for islands. For the winter months - I recommend an indoor jacuzzi.

The most amazing suite (we stayed in Lagoon Suite) in Imerovigli, Santorini with unbeatable views of the sea and Thirasia island and Oia from the property. We had a private deck area with lounge chairs and a sun umbrella and a dining table. We loved sitting out and enjoying the view and sunbathing. There is a pool on the property as well and we had a private hot tub in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was delicious (you can choose from an assortment of menu items) and delivered to us in the morning to eat with the view. Alex at the front desk and George were so friendly and helpful! They also have a laundry service and can help with booking tours and massages. They helped us arrange semi private shuttles from the ferry port which made our trip so smooth. This was the best part of our Europe trip and honeymoon, I would highly recommend Above Blue!

Just wanted to note that the hot tub inside the bathroom can make the air humid in the suite but the property provides a humidifier which helped a lot. The suite is also next to a wine bar, which you can hear people chatting and music in the evenings.

We stayed in the Heaven Suite, the views from the balcony were incredible! We loved the jacuzzi and the bed was comfy! The guys that worked at the pool bar were so helpful and friendly. We loved the breakfast that was delivered each morning and that they had so many gluten free options. The bathroom was well appointed. The sunsets from our balcony were simply stunning. Don't waste your time trying to get sunset restaurant reservations--just watch them straight form your balcony!

They only give you two shower towels. I asked for more the first day and they did bring me one, but then only left two each day after.

The hotel was with an amazing view and a very comforatable location. The room was exceptional with a hot tub which was very relaxing! The breakfast everyday was truely yummy with the amazing view of caldera!! Dimitris was the best hotel manager.. he guided us a lot, with amazing reccomendations and also arranged a rental car for us..

Everything was amazing! The pool was very cold however, I would haev enjoyed a dip but couldn't. But we had the hot tub in the room.. so no complaints!

Was a bit disappointed with the breakfast, compared to the rest of holidays on our Greece trip, I thought it could be improved- bit basic, didn’t match the quality of the hotel. Also something wrong with the sewerage pipes in Charm suite, it smelt awful and we had to keep our door shut the whole time. Even after the room was cleaned it still really smelt. Shame for such a beautiful room.

We enjoyed everything. The host was friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. He suggested different places to eat and visit and we were so happy with everything. The breakfast overlooking the Caldera was delicious. No words describe the sunset view from our terrace. We enjoyed the stay very very much! Just sad we couldn’t be there for the original three nights due to flight cancellations. But our one night was amazing!! Thankyou thankyou!

Above Blue is in a great location in Imerovigli. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Maria was a gracious day host (arranged a rental car to be delivered and gave good off-season restaurant recommendations), and the breakfast room service every day was great - a number of menu choices and high quality. Perfect views of the setting sun over the caldera from both our rooms, Moonlit and Lagoon. Both those suites are toward the upper part of the hotel, and easily accessed from the street.

We liked the place a lot, but have some observations for the time of year we were there. In March, many stores, restaurants and hotels are not open in Imerovigli (or anywhere in Santorini), so we used our car heavily. That worked for us because we do not love crowds, but it's something to consider. I would also note that the ensuite hot tub in Lagoon means the room smells like chorine, at least in the time of year when you keep windows closed.
